At minimum I'd get a couple dates. I'm in my mid twenties and so are most of these girls. The quality varies, on the high end like a 7, on the absolute lowest end a 4 or a 5. I met my last LTR off of it who was a very sweet, very caring 7 (ended because of distance and a lack of time on my part).

Not sharing location, don't want to doxx myself.

But this isn't atypical. Most guys I know get all of their female attention from online dating.

damm man.

bolded part.

why?

I could never even go on a date with a 4 or 5.

only girls i swiped on where 6+

i respect your honesty in admitting this though

Meanwhile those that don't receive enough likes are obviously lowered in in the algorythm since women would leave the app if they saw too many unattractive mugs.

It's funny that they even have to tweak those number even to the greater detriment of the average man - heck - even the good-looking 7-8 looks guy will be blown out of the water by the few 9-level looks men.

Sorry but this is BS.

I'm definitely not a 9, I'd give myself a 6 or a 7. I'm also in a suburb which is god awful for game -- my workplace, gym, and BJJ place are 99% male. I still got something like 20 matches every day since I made my Tinder (Sunday), had girls complimenting my photos, messaging me first, and handing out their numbers. These girls weren't all stunners but they were generally bangable. I had a date on Thursday that ended in a makeout and a couple more in the works for this week.

This is just this week, over my lifetime I've had maybe 15-20 hookups from Tinder and met an LTR who I dated for over a year.

I also lead a pretty solitary life, small and close social circle, don't use Instagram, and am not the stereotypical "dark triad alpha male".

The point of this isn't to masturbate about how good I am at online dating, the point is Tinder is a very viable option for a lot of men. You literally need one decent quality picture and passable text game to have at least some success.
Same. I've theorized why they say men who are 6's and 7's don't get matches when you get guys like us who clearly do with tinder.

A couple of answers are: they're uglier than they think, they have awful pictures, they happen to be in a very difficult city (London, san fran), their bio is turning women away.

What do you guys use for your bio? Something generic but good game-wise that I can use? For some reason, bio is what I literally don't have idea what to write.

My bio is fairly generic too; planning to change it up soon, just not sure to what, so I'm interested in seeing what the forum thinks.

My last bang told me that she swiped right on me because I mentioned in my profile that I recently traveled to Japan.

Pretty much this. The thing about online dating is that, at minimum, you need a couple high quality photos. Either of you showing off a great physique, or just a crisp, good looking picture that looks semi-professional. Guys post shitty, low quality pictures of themselves, spit terrible text game, then wonder why they aren't getting anywhere on Tinder.

Any city is going to be better than almost any suburb or small town. I've used Tinder in SF, even there there are tons of attractive women, way more than in my current suburb.

Tinder definitely rewards active users also. I went away for a week to remote Scotland to clear my head. Told any important matches beforehand, and left the app alone. My average of 1-3 matches a day since I signed up 6 months ago (only one reset) tanked when I got back. It’s taken a week of use before the quality of women improved and I bagged a new match. I also “banked” a match I wouldn’t normally go for (knew she had liked me as she was outside of my 15km range) not a usual strategy but wanted to test the algorithm. Within another 24hrs I was back to my usual match rate. I’d say I’m a solid 7, swipe selectively and don’t have brilliant pics - three selfies and another with my dog. Short bio

how is tinder worth your time if you're getting so few matches?

there's a guy who posts on here a lot who says you need over 100 matches a week to get laid every week from tinder.

i was getting 20-30 matches a week and was getting no sex from tinder.

how are you surviving on 1-3 mathes per day?

are you fucking even 1 girl per month from tinder?
jacknap · 2019-05-08 23:03:00 · #8215
Any tips for what to say when a girl asks 'what are you looking for on tinder?'

The truth is = sex and then if you're cool friends with benefits /relationship

But I think I'd get unmatched/reported a lot and get my account banned for honesty.

(I have been banned before for being too honest). On their terms they actually changed it so you can't be sexually explicit as well. (I don't think they had this before but too many complaints I suppose).

I’m nearly 40 and actively looking for an LTR and it says so in my bio and the nearest major city is outside of my range. Different screening applies for me - I tend to swipe upwards, and I don’t want kids so at my age that rules out a lot of women

I’ve had 5 lays in 6 months. Nothing outstanding I admit but I’ve been around the block and meaningless sex on tap isn’t my goal anymore. I’ll spend approx 10-15 minutes per day swiping, my focus is rebuilding up my own life after a health scare (which I’m still fighting but returned me to red pill after 10 years of Cuck)

Only a chad in a major US city will bag 100 matches per week. It depends what your goals are from the app

Don't tell them that you don't want kids. Problem solved. If they start making it an issue tell them to beat it. Lastly, if you really don't want kids get a vasectomy.

"I'm looking for something laid back and fun. You?"

That's the generic answer. If you feel like the girl has/will put up resistance, then:

"I never expect anything on tinder but I'm down to meet people. You?"

Notice the emphasis on the "you?" part at the end of the lines. Ask her the same question back, put her on the spot. Regardless, you should be the one to ask the girl what she's looking for instead.

For everyone else who wanted a breakdown of my text game, I'm gonna give it a few days (I'm sick) and do a proper write up when I'm back to 100%.

I've been having a bizarre issue lately where girls will message me first with a compliment and then basically ghost on the conversation. "Hey, nice profile," "you're cute" etc etc. Then when I reply they either ghost or don't hand out a number.

Either my text game is absolute dog shit (which I don't think is the case, seeing as I lined up two dates last weekend and have two more this weekend) or this some weird new trend. This has literally happened with five different girls in the last week. One straight up said she thought I was hot and wanted something casual then ghosted. ?????

I've been spitting game for the last six years but I've never seen girls show genuine interest in the beginning and then completely flip or ghost. Like why would you even take the time to compliment someone unless you kind of mean it? They're not fake profiles either, they're usually the kinds of ethnic girls who I would see around my suburb. Unless someone is making really realistic really detailed fake profiles I would imagine they are real people.

Will I lose my boosts if I delete my profile and try again?

I think Tinder has dried up for me. Gonna try the tactic espoused here. But will it get rid of my boosts?

hahaha this brings back so many bad memories.

dude this happened to me when i was on tinder pretty much every day.

I had girls say they could not believe a guy who looked like me was on tinder then ghost.

I've had girls super like me and then either ghost or not even reply to my first message.

stuff like this happened daily to me.

super high interest and then they suddenly stop replying.

I'm so happy i quit tinder.

if you have the looks to get matches on tinder then you can get laid even more efficiently and with better quality in clubs.

do night game would be my advice to you.

sometimes i get tempted to get back on tinder but then i see a post like this and I'm glad i quit.

Yes, boosts and superlikes are consumables and are deleted with your account. (not sure if this is changed in recent updates)

Just use everything up, salvage whatever matches you get, then do a fresh start (new Google Play + Tinder gold membership)

Yeah it's super retarded, this never happened to me before. Like I get it if a girl doesn't like the game your spitting and stops responding. Like 100% leave me on read, it's cool, you're getting hit up by hundreds of guys a day and some will be more attractive than me. I get it.

This is happening way too often. This pretty attractive Asian girl straight up said she liked my profile and can "roll with my face". We have a short convo -- nothing too out of the ordinary -- then she unmatches me. I had another 6/10 white girl hit up straight up telling me I was hot and she wanted to hook up, ghosts over text.

I literally cannot understand the rationale behind doing this. I'm a sales guy, this would be like me calling my prospects, setting up meetings with them, and then abruptly ghosting them. It makes absolutely no sense.

You're looking at it from the wrong angle. You're the seller, she's the buyer. It's a buyer's economy. She's being inundated with offers from sellers, so she can afford to ghost. She's swimming in abundance. There's zero loyalty from these chicks, no matter how much she liked you or your offer at the time.

Glad to hear my experience is normal. I should just give up, but women I meet from approaching act just as shitty.

I just had girls cancel dates on me Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and I just got a text canceling Sunday. 4 days. 4 in a row!!! I don't enough prospects to start double and triple booking nights.

If we actually get to a date the odds are that she will be unbearable, or (most likely) we will have good date, make out, and she'll disappear before a second date.

I am basically being used for entertainment when girls have a free night. I am considering being a giant asshole on dates from now on. Because my standard dating formula of developing rapport is not working at all.

I live in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. I'm 40/yo, above average game. It gets worse with every passing year now.

I never had one single girl flake on me when I lived in Thailand or Costa Rica.

Any girl on a dating app is pretty much a slut, IMO. Nowadays at least. You won't find quality women off there in my opinion.

It's funny they have so much sexual abundance but when it comes down to finding someone to commit to them, their options dwindle down from guys rated 8-10 on the looks scale to 4-5 on the looks scale. They're too stupid to understand this and end up banging a ton of dudes only to realize in their late twenties that they cant get a single one of those dudes to commit. Then they're just used up whores looking for a beta sucker to latch onto.

This is why I will never commit to a girl beyond 24-25.
Cavorite · 2019-05-11 12:57:00 · #8230
Agree, except they don't figure it out by late-20s. They have to collide with the wall first, then realize (too late) what they did wrong.
shakeitt · 2019-05-11 18:46:00 · #8231
I've come to the conclusion that Instagram is the new online game.

In fact, even if you're a lone wolf type who just likes to do night game, day game, whatever and travel around and stay flexible...it's hurting you not to have an IG account with some great photos.

At least if you're looking to bed 18-22 year old chicks.

This is less true abroad, but in the U.S., canada....it's becoming pretty necessary if you want to fuck young women who you're actually attracted to.
Mentavious · 2019-05-11 21:20:00 · #8232
I’m beginning to think it’s a myth that ugly girls are having a hard time finding men to commit. In real life I am seeing that they are.
