Post pics on Facebook and make sure the privacy settings are set to ONLY ME.

You can then choose those pics on Tinder.

(getting #, ask to meet up) Text game not that strong, so besides the girls that were obviusly interested to begin with, i have difficulties how to proceed. I find it boring and time consuming writing with girls who may or may not be interested

Well usually it depends on how she replies on ur messages as in most cases it will be quite clear if she's interested or just aiming validation ,
and it should be easy to tell
so if she replies to ur messages instantly and start asking questions so go for it directly or the line " Tinder chatting is crab anyway lets do it on whats app "
it worked for me most of the time beside one girl told me that she prefer to chat on whats app coz sometimes she's too lazy to write so she prefer voice messages which i myself used that line more than once and it worked too !

bottom line play it cool start with a good opener and see how things goin and u should notice instantly whether is she into it or has other agenda
if she's getting along keep chatting and building mutual comfort by asking her for example about her hobbies and whatever hobby she mention make sure u tell her that it's one of ur hobbies too or you've always wanted to try this one
so typically after 15 minutes of back and forth chatting u go for the number
last tip : personally i rarely uses the typical opener " hey how u doin " it seems very boring 2me and the girl as well as propably 90 % guys use it so u won't stand off
so look at her bio and try to use something out of it specially funny stuff
eg: last girl i matched with wrote on her bio that she" like trying new food " so my opener was " trying new food "mmm so whats exactly the last dish u've tasted coz it might came handy afterwards " see simple and not complicated
she instantly replies with " hahahahah it was a boring food day 2day and i just tried ... "
so it gets smoother u get the picture ?

Anyone with Tinder Plus notice girls that you swiped right on before recycled and being used again by Tinder?
R_Niko 路 2015-11-28 22:56:00 路 #4656
Does anyone else find Tinder is kinda played out? For the first year or so I was on it I got a good number of dates. I found most girls I matched with wanted to meet (this was in late 2013). Now it seems like another time wasting form of social media, attention whoring for women rather than a meetup app.

Can anyone help with some photo tricks.

I look average but have good, trained Body. I tried some Pictures but didnt got any or very less matches.

What can I improve? Is a beach photo good to set?

Think about what average guy does, then do the opposite.

I'm a fan of pictures where it's you and a bunch of girls.

(07-29-2015 05:00 AM)XII Wrote:  Race is a controversial topic. I'm in a minority group that's popularly said to be loserish but I do well; here are my views:

1) Vaginas are not racist. Girls will give up their vaginas to anyone who gives them the immediacy of tingles. It's like Dante Nero of Beige Philip, who is black, says: "I am no girl's preconceived notion of a sexy dude, but they fuck me." This happens because a girl will fuck any guy who gives her the primal immediacy of tingles, even if he is not what she thinks she likes. When I bring a girl home, trust me, there is no way that while getting ready a few hours before she visualized her clownface makeup splattered all over the pillows of a bizarre-looking ethnic weirdo like me.

2) If you are not white, you will do way, way, way better in real life than on any online avenue, not because girls are racists, but because the heuristics and unconscious biases of online dating works heavily against minorities.

The brain cannot handle too much information, so it uses cognitive shortcuts. When a girl is looking over a Tinder profile, there is not much information there, so what little information is present takes on heightened importance.

When a girl's brain is scanning your pics and your paragraph of text, it is over-judging the smallest things, and jumping to conclusions about you based on the scantest evidence:

Slight double chin --> fat as fuck.
Not top 20% looks --> ugly as hell.
All selfies --> no friends.
In a club --> no job.
Boring clothes --> boring.
Gym selfie --> boring gym dude.
Not smiling --> fucked up teeth.
Ugly friends --> loser.
You're DJing --> hot DJ.
You're playing guitar --> hot musician.
Tattoos --> hot tattoo guy
Beards --> trendy + fashionable
Pets --> caring and loving

And:
Minority --> not cool.

The lack of information of an online dating profile works against you if you're a minority. Since a girl's judgement of online dating profiles relies on heuristics and cognitive shortcuts, she most likely will unfairly cast you into the loser stereotype of whichever minority you are in. This happens subconsciously, so she won't even be aware of it, and it happens even if she's a minority herself.

So:
Indian --> smelly and shy
Black --> ghetto
Latin --> poor
Asian --> shy and quiet
White --> normal, let's see the rest of his photos.

Again, it's not only white girls that jump to these negative stereotypes about you, it's also ethnic girls. So even black girls who see the profiles of black dudes think they are ghetto, and even Indian girls who see profiles of Indian guys think they are dweebs. All minorities are pushed back except for white guys, who are "normal" by default.

In person you can easily overcome any negative stereotypes of your ethnic background and be a hot, dominant, tingle-worthy dude without even saying a word, just by your vibe and your presence, your dress and mannerisms. Online? Not so much, girls have an itchy trigger finger in judging you as a loser.

If you are a mack and you happen to be in a minority, the challenge is to not let your dismal online results (dismal compared to "normal" white guys) fuck up your IRL vibe.

I've been feeling that this is the reason that photos can only go so far for minority dudes, regardless of how good looking you are.

I set my location to my hometown (Melbourne, Australia) and watched as my matched dried up like autumn leaves. Most of those matches were in the 5-6 range. That's before taking out those who 1)unmatch soon soon after, 2)don't respond at all and 3)give you complete radio silence after 2 messages.

In much of Europe -- not least Poland and Scandinavia, I'd be matching at much greater quantity and quality. Possibly this might be an Anglosphere phenomenon, England was the exception and even then, most of my matches there were with Continental girls.

My photos really picked up only since I've been in Europe, as it were, last year and early this year were even more fruitless. Interestingly, I actually had an decent match rate when I first started Tinder late 2013, but even then I think that was paltry in proportion to the number of hotties that abounded back then. I guess that underscores what people have been saying in this thread about the app having reached peak male mass in the past 1.5 years. I have a hunch that a shitload of IRTs have proliferated too. Conversely, the number of fatties and FOBs (many of them aren't even attractive) has exploded.

As of late, the matches I usually get from the app, go cold over text. I really get the impression that I'm either texting myself out of a layup or just wasting my time. My latest matches are two low 7s. One an artistic black chick, the other an irish bookworm. Both stopped responding before I could take things offline.

The average guy does online dating. That's why online dating's gone to shit now.

For a couple of weeks now I've been having problems with my bluestacks.

I'm using a fake gps app on bluestacks. then when I start tinder, when it's supposed to start generating girls profiles, I keep getting this annoying pop up message that says "Improve location accuracy - this app wants to change your device settings". I can click "yes" or "no" and regardless what I click this message keeps popping up over and over again.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on?

Cheers

Use the right GPS app. The one that comes with Bluestacks is shit and doesn't work.. I use one called "FakeGPS Free".

I was using "Mock GPS Pro" which was working fine until couple of weeks ago. I couldn't find one called "FakeGPS Free". I just tried "Fake GPS" (icon is a yellow/black mobile phone) but still doesn't work.

What does the one you're using look like, the icon?

I use FakeGPS and it works. You have to "tether" it first though or else Tinder will skip it a s use your last location point.

Tether it by turning off and then back on your location with only Wi-Fi on. Then run Google maps to confirm if it worked.

Open up Tinder and adjust your distance point, then log out, log back in, and adjust the point back to where you like it.

This should force Tinder to tether a new location point as the app shouldn't know where it is after that.

How does everyone open 10's on Tinder? I've only successfully done it a couple of times, and the convo hasn't wound up going anywhere

what do you guys think of including your job and college in your profile? For now, I have my college omitted (because just community college), and my job location listed

@GoSkins: Just don't. Anonymity is golden. Don't allow any crazy slut to track you down and potentially fuck up your reputation.

Depends on which country your in. In 3rd world countries, chicks are using it to screen out "lower class" users, so you better make sure your credentials are in shape. Another thing to worry about.

@PutinCloses: I'd guess that's easily sorted out with a professional looking suited up photo in your profile, but only one.

How many messages are you getting from them before they go cold? You have to use your intuition as to when to pull the trigger and go for the number, date, etc. Generally speaking after about 3-4 sets of messages in the app (a set being me sending and she replying) I'll say "I don't know about you but I hate messaging in this app send me your number and I'll text you". If she sends me the number I'll text her fairly quickly to keep the momentum going, maybe do 2 back and fourths tops and then go for the meetup.

To tie in to the "trust your gut instinct" thread on the forum I think this is your answer right there. Are you trying to have long conversations with them over message in order to "warm them up" before trying for the meet? Change up your approach and err on the side of going for the number or meetup too soon and see what happens. Remember, the phone is for setting dates and discussing logistics only. In person is where you get to know them, deep dive, engage them, game them...

The 10s have just as much ego as the 5s.

Open as usual (aka its more luck and %'ages then anything).

I've tried different methods of carrying conversations online. Some I carry on longer, asking questions to get to know them a bit and some I'm pretty direct in trying to get things offline. My main objective is mostly to get them offline and set up a date/meetup. I've tried building comfort over text and having it go cold because I didn't close soon enough and I've had convos go cold after the girl has seemed interested and I ask them out on a date or for their numbers.

This morning I woke up to the number of an irish bookworm after one of the longer online convos, a bit of dry humor, and a number using emojis. Also how would you read girls that list their interest as reading novels, hiking, and good beer as a good time?

Yo bros that "Tinder says we'll have beautiful children" line is fucking golden. I used it on my last 5 matches and have been out with 3 of them this week. All of them said they really really liked the line. One basic bitch gave me a stank face, unmatched her ass, and the last one has been texting me all week. Fingers crossed we "meet" this weekend. Give it a go players. *props to Dmario*

What do you guys normally suggest as a meetup with a girl under 21? Grabbing drinks is my go to so I'm unsure. Feel like some might balk at drinks at my place. And I hate dinner first dates...

When I recall the nature and volume of my dates this time last year, they contrast with now when I am lucky to get a conversation going.

The new Tinder versions have killed it. They've even removed Moments which I used to see which of my passive and inactive matches were still around. Maybe attention whores were abusing matches for likes and not engaging in chat.
