what i like about serbian girls is that when you approach it is immediately clear to them what you want BUT they are still open to talk to you. it doesn't mean they're easy though.

Tito brought both Cyrillic and Latin script to be learned at schools in Serbia and Croatia. However, even during Tito, in practice, Cyrillic was used in Serbia and Latin in Croatia. Wider use of Latin script has to do with introduction of capitalism, advertising and breakthrough of foreign languages.
With introduction of more nationalist and traditionalist ideas recently, people are now struggling to reinforce Cyrillic in everyday life (Cyrillic is widely and almost exclusively used in papers written by institutions etc.)
I write Serbian exclusively in Cyrillic script, since Latin script is an imported and not so perfect way of writing it, because of diacritics and double-symbol letters.

I'm sort of happy that they use Cyrillic more now and are getting back to their roots. The transliteration seems to be pretty inexact and random as you pointed out, and furthermore nobody in the English speaking countries is going to understand how to pronounce additional letters like "ć" or "ž" anyway, nor (for example) how a combination like 'ja' sounds (it seems to just be the Cyrillic "я").
Back to the ladies here. Man this sure seems to be a land of girls with 5-7 faces but 7-9 bodies. It's actually a pretty nice combination.
I've not been to the clubs yet as it's early in the week but half the time I see a girl with say a 6-6.5 face when I turn around to check her out she's got a smoking hot body and when I say that I'm talking tight and lean with long legs just perfect - so much that I've had to catch myself doing double-takes on the street while not so secretly turning around to check it out.
Since they wear less makeup I can only assume that the faces in Russia are really just 'done up' a lot more to make them look better, whereas here more go 'au natural'.

Update:
Been an interesting couple of days here. Unfortunately it’s been raining quite a lot, so it’s been tricky to get a lot of approaches in. I’m learning anyway but the stops and starts make it a little more difficult.
Wednesday I did a few approaches during the day. Early on ended up getting a number of an ok girl (6?) while sitting outside a restaurant and chatting a bit. Went ok, but texted her today and no follow up. Oh well.
Opened 2 other girls that day, including one really top tier girl - brunette 8 who I stumbled into while walking - but neither spoke English or Russian unfortunately. They were very receptive & nice about it all though. Same thing happened yesterday on my first approach. Then when I got back to my hotel to do a few emails I ran into internet access issues at the hotel, which pretty much tripped me up for a couple hours. Surprising how much of an issue that can be and how frustrating not having a good internet connection really is.
To make matters worse, right when I finished up it started pouring rain again. Put me in such a bad mood that my state sucked so that was it for the day as I had some other things to do. Later on I was going to hit up the clubs but just didn’t feel like it and wanted to rest up for today. Just didn’t want to be out until 4am and ruin Friday and Saturday nights, and also wasn’t ‘feeling it’. My rule now is to not go out half-cocked and make sure that I’m 100% - if that involves resting a day or taking an evening off then so be it.
Today first thing I opened up a girl on the street who was looking at a map who turned out to be a Belorussian tourist by herself. It turned into a ‘delayed’ instadate as I had to make a couple calls for potential job prospects, but she seemed eager to hang out, got her number and we set up a meeting two hours later. Call her a 6. I was thinking this could be a nice little angle to pursue, but when I met her again a couple hours later she was a little worse than I remembered and after some more conversation and further review just wasn’t passing the ‘boner test.’ So after an hour and a half of sightseeing (which I wanted to do anyway, plus I wanted to speak some Russian) I ejected. She’d indicated that she was leaving early tomorrow so I figured there was little chance of anything going on anyway and I just wasn’t all that interested. Nice girl anyway so no worries but it did waste about 2 hours of my day all-in. So now I’m going to get out there and do a little more work and see what I can drum up.
Needless to say, this place is crawling with hard-bodied slender brunettes. Have started to see some real top quality girls as the week’s gone on - last night it was a nice evening and there were a lot of girls dressed up walking around. People are also very nice here and approachable - I’ve had a lot of fun talking with waitresses and coffee shop employees and bartenders too.
One interesting thing I’ve noticed - older women here don’t seem to get all that fat like many of the Russian babushkas do. Just an observation after a few short days here, but one I find intriguing. Could it be that these girls have better genes but just don’t dress up as much and wear as much makeup as their eastern Slavic counterparts? Am thinking about that one.
Frankly, at this point I’m realizing that a week or two isn’t enough time and I’m most likely not going to be here long enough to get it done, especially since SNLs seem to be pretty rare. I’m ok with that, so will just keep working on my game, enjoy my time and have fun. Tonight hoping to hit up a club or two and see what the weekend is like here.

i don't have problems with the cab drivers because serbian is my first language. i speak the lingo. also i've been to the city many times. to help you guys out:
taxi fare for locals, airport --> city centre should be about 2000 - 2500 dinar
taxi fare for locals around town should never exceed 500/600 dinar
ask how much it costs before you get in the cab, if it sounds like a lot, tell him exactly that, negotiate (yes you can do this). keep it funny, don't be uptight about it. you are not at his mercy, a million cabs around. but also don't try to squeeze him out. 500 dinar is about 4 euro, which is peanuts, while the country is poor as shit.
if you guys wanna hit the more popular splavs i'd recommend freestyler. there's only house music, which attracts a less traditional crowd. it's better for gaming.

Hi all this is my first post on this forum, I am from Belgrade so I figure I can tell you guys more about it.
- Yes there is a high number of pretty girls and not a lot of fatties compared to other places in Europe where I have been.
- That is pretty much due to many girls coming here to study at the University of Belgrade.
- That doesn't mean they are intelligent, they are full of shit like most girls you met elsewhere.
- Guys are taller than average (185cm+) but most of us have zero game and no style. Compared to the Americans I know in person, the yank has more style and charisma, and the Serb is taller and physically more imposing.
I would like you to know that there are basically two groups of young people here, the more and the less educated ones. There is very little middle ground, and this doesn't mean that the more educated ones make more money. Here a car mechanic often makes more than a doctor or a lawyer, and corrupt politicians and "businessmen" are the richest.
- For gaming the girls in the first group, you should aim for a classy stylish look, and should at least appear smart.
- For the second group, muscles, tattoos, having a motorbike and stuff like that does better job.
One night stands here are very rare, though not unheard of, and the best you can realistically expect is a short term relationship. People here almost always meet through social circles (online dating became popular lately too). Cold approaching during the day is almost unheard of, and expect that if you daytime approach a 21yr old girl who is a 7, that this can be the first time that happened to her, and expect for her to be surprised. At night in clubs almost all approaches are done by pretty drunk dudes, so when you are sober you have a significant advantage here, but again, dont expect an ONS.
Most people here are kinda racist, so if you are non-white expect at least 50% of girls to be unavailable. Blacks can score because of their exotic novelty value with a certain number of girls, while other races IMO are at a disadvantage.
In summary, a good looking white foreigner with good logistics and game can really kill it here if he has patience for short term relationships.

Some thoughts after my recent almost two weeks in Belgrade where I did some beginner day game and hung out a couple nights at the river clubs. These are just my impressions but I did run them by a couple Serbian guys I know who basically agreed with the views on the summer clubs and general ‘dating’ culture there:
-Most girls speak some English, but be aware that some don’t. 2 of the best looking girls I approached on the street didn’t really speak any English (much to my chagrin)
-girls are approachable during the day, and there are all sorts of people out and about on the streets in the center which gives the city a ‘busy’ feel so it’s not uncomfortable to chat up a girl. I didn’t get a sense anyone wanted to cockblock me during the night either, Serbian guys are pretty chill but love to party and do have that “Balkan Power” that Kamaki talks about going on
-The bodies on many of these girls are off the charts compared to Anglosphere women (no surprise there right?). Seemed like there were just tons of 8-9 type bodies on brunette girls with anywhere from a 5 to 8 faces. 5-6 face / ~8 body combos were fairly common and I’d say near 40% territory in some age brackets. And unlike Russia, I didn’t see all that many fat older women they seemed to keep their shape better after 35 from what I saw
-Night game here is a bit different at least in the summer when the action moves on to the riverboat ‘clubs’. The setups at the river clubs are tricky IMO, and are not really set up for people to approach. Some (like River) are geared towards Serbian music (harder to get into need a reservation I believe) and the more ‘real’ nightclubs (like Freestylers) have more of a (very cramped) ‘table/bottle service” sort of setup. From what I could tell they don’t really have real bars per se but rather tons of tables packed together around a bunch of center tables with waiters taking your order and bringing you your drinks. They are clearly trying to create an ‘exclusivity” vibe but it ends up making it hard to mingle IMO. Thus if you’re used to cruising around big clubs & working ‘choke points’ and/or hanging at the bar like in the NY, Vegas or Moscow clubs you’re going to have to adjust your game a lot
-The ratios were pretty skewed toward guys on the boats. More specifically, on a Friday night it seemed like 80% dudes at Freestylers at around 2:30. And I was at a “VIP” table with some cool Serbian guys who knew the scene, which was one of the better places to be higher up in the club (or so I was told), and there were around 10 guys and only 2 girls. I didn’t see tons of girls at other tables either. Furthermore, the boats are so packed it’s hard to move around. Obviously it’s not ideal at all for ‘lone wolfing’ IMO
-To mitigate the boats somewhat, you can go to the new Terrasa club, which is outdoors and was a lot of fun. But it closes at 2am and was emptying out at around 1:30 so you can’t stay there all night, more of a pre-club kinda place
-From my 2 night experience, I didn’t get the sense that ‘hookup culture’ is all that popular in Serbia, but I’m sure it happens, just not on the US scale I’d assume (not that suprising); maybe in the winter it’s a bit different?
- Even though night game wasn’t ideal for me, it does get crazy late night and they are up till dawn (I left at 4:30 am and it was still rocking one night). There is probably a ‘last man standing’ angle at these river clubs I’d guess. Whatever the case, it's a good vibe and people are just out to have fun and let off steam
-As a new day gamer, I’d say that putting in an approach in the am is incredibly satisfying; no matter how good or bad it goes. It just put my mind at ease and makes me feel very positive – even when ultimately it’s a rejection (!). That said, solo day game is tiring and can be mentally draining especially if you’re walking all over town for hours on end.
In sum, Belgrade is a lot of fun, Serbs are nice people and I enjoyed my time even though I got shut out and didn’t hook up at all despite moderate effort. I’d definitely go back but would prefer to have a few weeks to make things happen, as you need time here I think given the EE dating type culture.
