I saw a lot of beautiful women in the airport, and confirmed most were brazilian by their portuguese instead of argentine. Much blonder with lighter skin.

quick rundown....
cidade baixa: bohemian, laid-back vibe where you can pull some ladies just by playing the dumb tourist card and asking them "o que significa a palavra gaucha?"
padre chagas: a really nice, modern neighborhood with upscale bars and restaurants. cafe moinhois on wednesday night is a gold mine.
absolutely need to check out a internacional or gremio game. cant understand brazilian culture without immersing yourself in the futebol

A good friend of mine is from Porto Alegre. He, and many other of my friends say that the women are gorgeous there. It is after all the city Gisselle is from. But he also told me there really isn't much to do there at all. He said sometimes they would even go to Joinsville to party because the women there were also good and the parties are better in Joinsville. I went through Joinsville one day and just stopped for a couple of hours, but didn't think of it to be a good town to party. Wish I would have stayed a little longer now. People actually told me that the girls in PA were better than the girls of Floripa, which is where EVERYONE says the hottest girls are. For me, no way, and most of my Brazilian friends never believe me when I say Vitoria was the best I saw, but they've never been.

"Can't understand Brazilian culture without immersing yourself in futebol" What??? I'm a futebol fan, and kinda kept up with it, but I would have never seen it being a problem, because I practically never discussed it. Especially if you are trying to bang hot chicks. I found most real hot chicks didn't even really give a shit about soccer.

Wait, I'm an idiot, that friend was from Coritiba. But I definitely have heard the women in Porto Alegre are beautiful as well. Disguard the whole, "There's nothing to do in Porto Alegre." Not sure how the nightlife is there, but supposedly it sucks in Coritiba.

Been awhile since somebody updated this. Ok..my baggage was either lost in Guarulhos São Paulo or Dallas/Ft. Worth. Whatever the case, American Airlines fucks me over once again and will be getting shit delivered to me tomorrow. I have in the meantime bought some clothes...surprisingly high quality shit at good prices in "Shopping Total" around Independencia/Bom Fim.

So far...I think Belo Horizonte has more charm, but the talent walking around in both these places at least during daytime brings up 1) friendly elegance, 2) warmth, and 3) outstanding beauty. Out to the baladas now in my emergency clothes purchased an hour ago

I was there for a day - everyone was walking around with their mate tea cups and many guys were wearing those southern Brazilian cowboy hats. I actually went to a rodeo and saw some pretty sexy girls there. Whole city had a really laid back vibe - not much to do there I gather but good looking crop of women for sure.

I gotta say..it came down to the wire..I was assured a date my last night here after some daygaming action..but it didn't work out. It's funny how I was able to capture a flag in this place few years back with ok game, but my best performance here only resulted in makeouts.

Anybody have a good suggestion for a program comparable to Microsoft Paint in Mac? Trying to work on this data sheet, but can't make a map without a windows pc :/
