I had a girlfriend who once said something like that. She also thought she could go through my wallet and take my money because 'sharing is caring' and 'people in love share everything.'

You have to remember that girls live in an emotional reality - when they're happy, they imagine themselves being able to put up with anything for the sake of love, and when they are unhappy, they will justify almost anything to make themselves happy again.

She might think being hit isn't enough for a divorce, but if the marriage 'doesn't feel right' she'll get rid of you with no regrets.
