Choche, I just don't see how you can kill it here. How can you possibly be the most interesting man in the world when this island is FULL of light skinned Latino looking dudes with perfect Spanish. You'll be blended in with half of islands population. Here's how I think it'll go down:

El Mech, the only reason I mention how I look is so that forum members can put things in perspective.... in how I do in certain countries. Unfortunately, women have a fixed ideal of what they want in a man and I have done bad or well because of that sometimes.

When I said I have light skin for a Latino, am American and speak perfect spanish..it was meant to convey why my experience has been the way it has been in South America. It means jack shit in Eastern Europe or Russia. I am not trying to brag.
All I said to Ali is that we should have a friendly bet about who can do better in the DR. With my experience in SA, I am betting I will. But I could be wrong and will admit to it, which I have said so before.

El Mech, you really dont know shit about Latin culture outside of Florida and even the DR, You are a gringo, who speaks decent spanish and bangs semi pros when you trave to the DR. So I am explaining to you why I do well in Latin America and you start hating.
I cant say the same about Europe, Argentina and most of Asia.
So will my years in South America help me in the DR? My answer is a definite YES. Why did I bring up light skin? Because in many latin countries it helps. And perfect Spanish? Because I wont appear like a gringo sex tourists.....like most of you guys. Just the Damn TRuth And if I am wrong and dont do well in the DR.....I will be the first one to admit it.

I try to avoid race discussions on this forum, but I feel compelled to chime in. In my opinion, the only Spanish-speaking countries where a light-skinned Hispanic guy would be at a clear disadvantage would be Peru and Ecuador. Everywhere else, being a light-skinned Hispanic guy would either be a benefit or a wash. In my opinion, being white only hurts you in Puerto Rico. Everywhere else, being white is either a benefit or a wash. That being said, there are plenty of white guys who could get girls in Puerto Rico and plenty of Hispanic guys who could get girls in Peru and Ecuador. The only true friend I have in the area where I live is from Puerto Rico. She's from a family of thirteen kids, and I think every female family member of hers who I have ever met is married to a white guy. There are always exceptions. As for the claim that Choche will blend in in the Dominican Republic, I disagree. If his family is from Ecuador, as soon as he opens his mouth, it will be blatently obvious thst he doesn't talk like a Dominican or any Carribean Hispanic for that matter. My second night ever on Dominican soil, I got the flag from a blonde haired, blue eyed Dominican girl who thought I was Puerto Rican. As I said Merenguero, Fisto set the bar in the DR. Having half of his results would make me a happy man.
As to my Spanish, since I have traveled to many latin countries and Spain, most people in Latin America cant tell where I am from. I dont have an Ecuadorian accent, though that is where my family is from. But anywhere in Latin America I go, nobody thinks of me as a sex tourist, which is a major advantage. Then, throw in the fact that I am also American and people become intrigued.
Finally, anybody who knows Latin culture, knows that it is easier for a man if he looks whiter. Now there are exceptions and I am not claiming, I am killing it all over Latin America. But, for example, it does make it much easier to day game a Brazilian mulata if you are lighter skinned lol.

I agree. It was just fun to troll Choche. Light skinned Latin guys will do well here, it's just to me choche conveys on the forum as having some insecurity issues. This island is full of them, and the local girls can sniff it out immediately. There are a lot of heavy hitters here, and they ALWAYS have talent hanging on their arm. The other guys spend money they don't have in huge sound systems, hanging out on the side of the road trying to deafen everyone. They almost never have girls around them.
Confidence goes a long way here. That is why Fisto did so well. A good physique helps as well. There are too many dudes here that look like they are still on a MLB roster.
Yesterday a girl was going through my pics. She saw me in Afghan just before coming here and commented on how strong I looked. It helped when I got here, but by the end of month 3 it was gone, and I've seen a noticeable difference in the amount of girls that approach.
Local guys also are well dressed and practice good grooming standards. Fisto is clean cut and well dressed, which girls appreciate. In comparison, once I got a haircut here, which was a butchery, girls no longer run up and stick their fingers in it.  It is imperative to look your best here.
This is a very difficult place to maintain a healthy mental/physical standard.

lol so true, I can't stand it when they do that, they think it's cool or something, but its just fucking lame. When I walk by, and they have it blaring, they just expect people, especially women to stop and stare at them, but everyone just walks past blanking them.

The first thing I noticed upon entering the tiny lobby was the haze of cigarette smoke and the stink of overflowing ashtrays. When I stayed there previously, I believe there was a no smoking policy. When I flicked on the bathroom light, roaches ran. The corner has gotten even worse, if possible, and I was followed by people asking for money coming and going. A woman receptionist tries to keep these types away but since the policy of visitors having to leave ID has been abandoned, more than once cartoon like prostitutes in clothing three sizes too small were actually sitting in the small lobby. When I was there, it seemed the other guests were American men visiting the DR with the thought of meeting as many women they could find....I'm sorry, but once this was a decent budget option in a lovely art deco building but now it is simply a crash place for hook ups and drinking. I signed up just to warn others. I wish the owners good luck in trying to sell the place
