The hustle here is on par with Bangkok, but not that much worse. It's a different more primitive type. In thailand they are experts of elaborate schemes: a friendly man on the street will help you with a tuktuk and all of a sudden you're in a store being measured for a suit or in some uncle's hotel.

Here people just try to overcharge you at any given chance and are generally extremely slow and inefficient. It's very easy to see through though. You just gotta be patient.

Also a lot of employees don't care about business, they'd rather just chill. In supermarkets I've tried on several occasions getting too much change because the clerk couldn't be bothered with a lot of coins. In my hotel the waiter would tell me that it was too late for breakfast at 10.00. Two minutes later her boss told her to get going though.

I wasn't in the mood to chase tail last night, but rather hang with the crew and enjoy good company. By 2 a.m. maccc had me wound up to hunt, but a Wednesday night and a rainstorm killed our chances.

You live in the United States and are worried about being hustled in the Dominican Republic? People try to hustle me as much in the United States as they do in Latin America. I learned a long time ago that I have to have eyes in the back of my head in the United States, Latin America, and everywhete else.

The hustlers in the States are just better at it so most people seem to think they aren't ever getting hustled or only very rarely. In the DR they are terrible hustlers and so damn obvious that it seems like everyone is hustling you. Atleast in the DR you might get hustled out of 100 bucks. In the States you may get hustled out of all your assets.

Last night:

Rover and I went and had a coffee before heading to Gold's Gym to train again. This time, because we were both tired from the night before we got there during a pretty busy time. We did another crossfit workout and everyone was glancing over at us. The so called "strong guys" were paying attention begrudgingly. One girl kept following us around but even though she had a great body her face was not up to standard.

We finished, showeredc and walked over to this other place discussing plans along the way. When we finally got to where we wanted to go we decided we'd rather go to a colmada and wait for the rest of the crew to catch up.

When we were walking back, we ran into the blonde Americanized girl from the night before. I got her number and Rover suspected that she saw us walking and pulled over really quickly. Unfortunately there's not much I can do with her number since I'm leaving.

I had my 18 year old meet us at this mexican restaurant and she brought a friend who was at least 30 and had a shitty attitude. None of the other guys wanted to jump on that grenade and I couldn't blame them.

We went to a club and started hanging out. It was on immediately. She and I were dancing and getting close, kissing and there was serious chemistry. Her fucking friend kept ordering pina coladas which of course I was expected to pay. I just said "de nada" when she didn't even say thanks.

The cunt.

Anyway, while all this is happening I run into the DJ from the night before as well and he is talking me up again. I've got my arm around my girl and another girl just walks up and puts her number in the hand of the arm around the girl and gives me a big wink.

My girl is catches me looking at the girl that who gave me her number and gives me the unmistakable look of disapproval. I hand her the number and tell her I only want her and no one else. She looks completely in love and motions that she wants to tear the napkin in half and I smile and say of course. She does and sets the napkin on the bar. She looks away and I quickly pick up the napkin and put it in my pocket.

The DJ comes up to me and explains that the girl who gave me her number is celebrating her birthday and she wants to "fuck around" with me. She turned 23.

Now, to the common layman this situation requires no game but in reality it means walking a tightrope. On the one hand I have to escalate my girl, and on the other I can't let the other girl think she's blown out. I tell the DJ to tell the other girl I'll call her after 2.

We leave the club in a taxi and the 30 year old spinster is acting like she's her mom.

Anyway I couldn't isolate her so I go to plan B with the other girl who is actually pretty hot herself. I took some photos of her laying on the bed after I fucked her so I'll post those with the others.

Rover and the guys take me over there and in typical Dominican fashion, these people can't give directions worth a damn, she's using restaurants and salons instead of street signs. I have to hand it to Rover because I could tell he was ready to get back out there and try to get laid and instead was driving me to get laid.

So I bang this girl a good 3 times and that's a wrap.

Epilogue:

I decided to hang out with the girl I banged who's birthday it was the next night. I was tired and I called my 18 yr old with the hail mary of "Just come over to my hotel, I'm tired and need to get up early" but she was sick from too much drinking the night before. I called my driver Robert and made the following plans for my departure the next day:

Get up at 7am, Ali meets me at the hotel to bring me to the bus station which is a 2 hour drive to Santo Domingo from Santiago. I left at 8.

I called Robert and gave him this girls number who has been blowing me up on Badoo but that I kept blowing off. Cute little thing I just for whatever reason hadn't met her.

I told him to tell her to meet me when I arrive. I had to be at the airport around 12:30 so arriving at 11 gave me about an hour to try and close the deal.

Robert the driver is there shortly after I arrive at the bus station in Santo Domingo (surprisingly VERY nice buses, no hot girls on mine though)

We rush over to this mall where I'm supposed to meet the girl, I get there and she's a tiny little thing, real cute with braces. I think she was lying about her age. Honestly she looks underage but claims she is 24. She's super nervous and excited when I walk up.

Here is an example of why Robert is worth every fucking penny of his modest rate. There's no way I could have pulled this off without him.

I have him tell her that I need a shower before my flight but that I also want to spend time with her while I can. Robert pretends to come up with the idea to just go to a love hotel for an hour while I get ready and we can hang out at the same time. He tells me in English "ok act like you're explaining what you want me to do right now" and I do and then he tells her something else. At first she's against it but Robert's silver tongue does it's work and she agrees. I sense that she's nervous and I tell him to tell her "Don't worry I promise you will feel comfortable with me". She smiles and we're off.

We get inside and it's highschool makeout time. Long story short she's saying "no mi gusta rapido" but then does almost everything anyway. I can't get her pants off but she does down on me for a bit. If I had more than an hour I'd have closed the deal but it was fun trying.

She's in love now and keeps messaging me over and over. "mi amor" is written about 2 times per message.

Anyway, we leave the motel and she rides with me to the airport. She's rubbing my junk in the backseat of the taxi the whole way.

I get to the Airport and the guy behind the counter asks me "Do you play baseball or something?" Yeah how'd you know? What team do you play for? The pirates. Say can you upgrade my seat for me? Sure!

I don't like lying about that stuff but a comfortable plane seat is worth bullshitting.

Anyway, I fly into Miami where my buddy here picks me up, we go out together with a cute ass Colombiana whom I end up fucking. Everyone speaks Spanish in Miami, I love it here. Going out again tonight though so I'll have to hang with her again. There's fine ass women EVERYWHERE.

A few things I learned about DR:

ALWAYS make eye contact and make them look away

Tease them, it's universal but they love it, and aren't shy about liking you.

If you can't speak Spanish you're not going to get very far, you HAVE to have someone there who can convey the complex ideas/plans/logistics. Get our driver and split the cost. It isn't much that way. Learn as much Spanish prior to going as possible.

You can find good deals on airbnb, I'll get a short term apt next time. Don't stay at any hotel more than 60 bucks per night. It isn't that much better.

I would manage my time better if I could do it again. Some days I was too hungover or didn't have enough energy. Because I was wanting to hold out for something better I wasted a few days. I could have banged damn near every night I think.

There was this 19 year old girl who was CRAZY about me. Was calling me and paying for her own phone calls etc. I found out too late that she would have just come to my hotel to meet me and once they do that it's over.

That's about it off the top of my head. To sum it up. I loved the place. Rover, Mechanico, Ali, and others were great.

Ali and I had a short spat, but we cleared it up in no time.

I stick with my observations regarding black vs white. If you take two equally wealthy, good looking guys, one black and one white, the girls will go for the white guy most times. Any player with strong game will crush it here black or white, but I'm only trying to look out for my RFV brothers and let them know that's what I think. Do with it what you will. Even Elabayarde says so
"But...White dudes who dont speak spanish, will definitely have more access to Dominicanas than two morenos from latin America who can blend in this country.

Anyway I loved it there. I'm going to have to go back but first I have to go elsewhere. Next trip will be to Colombia or SEA, probably Thailand.

I'm in miami from Jan3-10, considering popping over into DR for a few days on the way to Brazil. I need a vacation.

Don Cojones and I rolled out last night to a club and threw down on some bottle service. I took a date, that early in the night got cold. Cold chicks=no pussy. Fisto had left his figher jacket in the evil drivers car. I retrieved it, and she was quiet entertained with it. The club we went to went well, and then I hit resistance once again.

This is the girl that flaked on Fisto and I. She redeemed herself, and I've been seeing her since arriving in SD. We pulled up to the hotel, and Don bounced inside. She jumped out of the taxi to confirm with the doorman, and evil driver cut her off and somehow signaled to the guy to go along, just two seconds before she caught up. The doorman played along like a pimp, and made for a great night for me. +1. That was one pimp move.

All in all Don and I had a great night, and he pulled a number from a sexy lil sawed off thang. Tonight I'm going on a date, and chill. It's been a long but fun few days.

Who knows Ali.....you could be right. We should make a friendly bet on that, especially since you know the DR way better than I. Though, dont understimate the ability to game in the language in the country you are living. And I am going to Santiago and not Santo Domingo, so i will have my hands tied behind my back.
