Someone should open a hotel and clubhouse for the RVF members down there, I personally know a member who's thinking about heading down there to join the crew soon, and I'm sure there are many others who already have flights booked. Pretty soon a quarter of the forum might be there at any given moment.

:-( as a black guy... el abayarde & pitt was the reason I felt so excited about going to the DR. I've posted before that DR women in philly are "colorist" & that it was impossible to pull a 7 or better if you were of darker complexion. But reading els experience gave me a lot of hope that it would be different for me over there.

I'm still goin but it's just fucked up that as black people we are at the bottom of everybody's totem Pole :-(

In my experience, dancing is much more important in the Dominican Republic than in Honduras. I think I met one girl in Honduras who was a good dancer and she was Colombian. She was a complete bitch, too, but that is another story. If you go to the Dominican Republic, you should try to work on merengue and bachata as much as possible before you go. Salsa is a help, but is not as important as merengue and bachata are in the Dominican Republic. Some people may disagree with me, but in my opinion, not many people in the Dominican Republic are very good salsa dancers. Most girls are at least decent merengue and bachata dancers.

I am not extremely impressed with the food there, but have never gotten sick from eating it. Tostones and mofongo are staples of Dominican cuisine. There is a variety of beef, chicken, and seafood dishes which are common. I like a fish called "mero." It's typically grilled.

I doubt you will encounter any problems running on the streets of Santiago or Santo Domingo.

As far as the best time of year to go, I have been there twice during December and once during March. I really didn't see a great difference in the weather or the crowd between December and March, but some posters may have some more insight.

The good news is if you are in Miami, both Santiago and Santo Domingo are extremely easy and fast to get to. American Airlines has direct flights from MIA to both cities and Spirit has direct flights to Santiago. They may also have direct flights to Santo Domingo. If you fly into Santo Domingo, but eventually wish to spend time in Santiago, I'm sure that you could easily arrange transportation from Santo Domingo to Santiago either through a forum member or on your own. Santiago is not an extremely long drive from Santo Domingo.

My schedule is presently open from January 12 to January 27 and I may consider spending that time in the Dominican Republic. I haven't been back there for almost three years. I always make travel plans at the last minute, less than a week before I leave. I do this because my schedule is always subject to change and I would end up wasting a lot of money if I were to book flights and hotels far in advance and have to continuously reschedule and/or cancel trips.

Agreed, learn some bachata and merengue, that's a bump of 1-2 points in DR. Salsa for extra bonus but only about 30% of girls dance that. Regaeton doesn't need much tutoring. One thing to keep in mind is be careful where your hands are during dancing, especially regaeton. Girls are very conscious of that, best to keep it to a minimum with a girl you just met and let her guide you there. I went out with a RVF member last night, first time in DR, came across 2 girls I knew and we were dancing with them but then he tried to touch her ass a bit too much and she went all bitchy on him. "al paso" as they say.

Another RVF member and I have recently discussed an idea of renting a cool penthouse suite in Santiago and sharing it between 2-3 permanents here and offer a spare room to guys who come for a short time. I am talking 4000-5000 square feet, 2 levels, marble floors, ample party space, 360 degree views over the whole city, private roof access, possibly a large jacuzzi or a small swimming pool. If we get a couple of people interested and ready to commit $10-15K for a 1 year lease, this could work.

Just slept 11 glorious hours. Last night was alright but it wasn't a night for women. I wanted to go to Venezuala club but it was Mechanico's last night and instead we went to this block party in a rough part of town.

The night started at the hotel. Mechanico and I went to the colmado (kind of like a 711) and bought some vodka and beer then came back and started drinking. We finished off one and a half bottles. Ali is out of commission and Divorco doesn't drink much so around 11pm we left for the block party.

The place was covered in trash and smelled intensely of piss in some places as we walked around. Beers were about 50 to 100 pesos. I saw about 7 girls in 100 that I'd fuck. I went into one bar for the restroom and this cute little thing with shiny silver dress on kept looking at me and smiling but she was standing with a guy who was sitting in a chair with his legs on either side of her. (this is one thing I really like, when a girl likes you here, she has a harder time hiding it or doesn't want to the way girls in the States do). Some guy came up and conveyed to me that a girl wanted to talk to me. I looked over and she had huge tits and frizzy blonde hair. Would not bang but decided it would be polite to say hello. I excused myself and went outside.

G trooper and Don Cojones were there and we walked around a bit. I somehow recognized one girl I'd seen when I first arrived in a Liquor store and came up to her group and started talking to her "yo recordo" and I started making hand gestures. The guy who was in charge asked "yo you need something" and I switched gears and went over to him and explained that I remembered seeing her while the driver explained to her. The guy turned out to be cool and I shot the breeze with him for a little while. He was a captain in the army there and as he got more drunk throughout the night his responsibilities became more and more grandiose. Anyway the others in our group meshed in with them.

G trooper and Don Cojones broke off to try and pick up girls. I was tempted to go but was feeling subdued and besides enjoying myself. The guy in the group suggested we go to the malecon street part so I hopped in with him and we cruised over there.

By this point one girl had decided she liked me and was giving me a lot of subtle hints. She was tall, curvy, very pale skin with green eyes and shorter dyed reddish/purplish hair. Actually writing this makes her sound pretty hot but something about her wasn't motivating me so I just kind of flirted back but was basically uninterested. A HUGE chick, who was probably the AMOG grabbed Divorco and basically made him stay with her the whole time we were there. He was rolling with it and didn't complain but I could tell he was sort of "wtf".

I was tired and hungry so we ate at a little spot on the street and we all decided to disperse. The night was comfortable if not fruitful. I thought I had planned ahead by telling my favorite girl here that I would call her later but by this time she was asleep. Oh well.

Ali is still sick so we are staying another day before grabbing his girl here and her sister and going on a little 2 day trip to see Patron.

I almost died last night from poorly mixing medication and alcohol. I hit the floor and felt my soul leaving my body. It was a terrifying experience and I barely made it to the hospital. They watched me for awhile and released shortly after. The doctor grabbed the meds and tossed them, and wrote a scrip for the proper antibiotic. I thought I'd gotten an std in my throat.

Fisto, rover, and I are banging 8+ girls from good families, jobs, educations, and vehicles. It is just they it is. I started with lower quality and have worked my way up. It took time for my Spanish, and an understanding of the local culture. Being able to sing an Aventura song, cook the local meals, speak the local dialect, are crucial skills to advance into hotter women.

If some guys are happy coming and banging slag from the barrios, then fine. I want to have something in common with the girl as it increases the intimacy. I have succeeded in this, and my current girl speaks English and we have a lot to talk about. It has taken me this long of working my ass off to find ltr material.

Tomorrow Fisto and I are heading to Jarabacoa to meetup with a member and my girl. Fisto will be taking her sister. They are both pushing 9. From there we'll hit Santiago for the rest of the trip. Had another mild night. These girls have been blowing up my phone. They'll call from one number and then try again from another number. At first I was getting annoyed but then I realized the alternative (American cunts taking 5 hours to return a text message) and it didn't bother me.

I called my favorite girl here and asked her what was the latest I could come over. She told me 11. Well I was with Divorco and Ali (since he's no longer dying) and we went to Jaragua casino to play blackjack. Divorco is all about business when he plays, and he cleaned up. People were coming by to watch him play to max bet places at the table over and over and win. I didn't even bother calling my girl to tell her I wasn't going to make it.

I slept like a log. We have been drinking way too much and sleeping way too little. Truthfully, it was starting to wear on me and I was glad for the break these past couple days. I've got four days left though and I plan to do some damage!

The plan is to head up to Jarabacoa today.

I don't have any latin dancing skills. A couple times dancing has come up and I can tell the girl I'm sitting with or talking to wants to dance but they don't say anything, so I explain that I don't know how but I'll try. Their eyes light up and I just do my best and smile. Both times this has happened other girls come up and take the place of the other girl and I just keep fumbling along hoping the song will end soon.

The food situation is cheap and you can eat paleo if you want. You more than likely will get the shits. It's just part of it. I had it BAD for a full day but still managed to make it out by the end of the night.

You won't have a problem going for a run, but you'll be the ONLY person doing it haha. I meant to bring my jump rope. I will next time. My workouts have suffered but I knew that would happen.

My advice is to come around now during the cooler months. It's still pretty humid in Santo Domingo but up where Rover is in Santiago it feels great.

^^^ The more you move around here, the less pussy you'll get. It's best to stay in one place. Think of it like fishing a huge lake. Driving the boat around and randomly casting will not bring results. Instead, pull into a small cove and concentrate on finding the fishing holes.

It takes time to find the right clubs on the right nights. Things change as the herds move. Attitudes are different from city to city. What works in SD won't in Santiago.

We were also traveling with too many in the pack. Divorco had a specific agenda, Emech was a maniac, and I got sick. You can only move as fast as the slowest member. We also never utilized the truck to its potential. It became a troop carrier instead of a poosy magnet. My advice is to hit one of the metros, daygame relentless, nap in the evening, and be fresh for night game. Personally I'm torn between the two cities. I have SD figured out, and can move faster on pussy here. Santiago is going to take more time and better logistics. My time is short too and I want to kill it on the home stretch. We need a hail mary for this one.

Are you guys having fun? From the outside it seems that there's always some kind of drama and craziness. Maybe it's the nature of the country and the people. It must be possible to just have a chill time, hang out with chicks, bang them, hit the beach, have a nap, etc. ? I suspect whenever you get lots of strong personalities together, conflict is inevitable.

No it's backward thinking. Shit like needing gas all the time because someone said that the car gets better mileage on a near empty tank. The fact is the less gas the more fumes/pressure which gets purged. I explained but no takers. They sell smokes in half packs so they're always needing to get more. In the time it took this one girl to ring me up I could have searched two forums, posted, went on facebook and sent some emails.

They sell full packs for cigs. Not every has $3 for a full pack, so they sell half packs.
They don't fill the gas tanks, because people steal the gas. I had a full tank of gas one time, took it to the mechanic, got it back and the gas light was on.
