Life just gave me fodder for mass texting gold.

I was down the street in brooklyn and a short, swarthy, stocky guy in a red sweatshirt and blue overalls passed me.

Here's the text I just sent to all my girls:

"Ha i just saw a short stocky native bk looking guy walk by in a red sweatshirt and blue overalls. The real super mario"

Instant flood or replies.

Ok, so cleary these kinds of texts are much better than the other ones I've posted above. Now to un-pack what it is that makes this one good...

For one, it's low-investment. I'm not asking for anything.

It's the type of thing that I could send out to all my friends, male and female.

Ever see the old Love Systems texting and phone guide? Its full of lines like that. Of course they give it a dorky pickup name - pinging. As in, you'll ping old girls to stay on their radar and build attraction.

Like:

“Just watched that movie 300…Awesome. Don’t remember them shooting that documentary of my life, but that’s cool.”

or

"Plane is about to take off… are you suppose to put your hands in the air like on a roller coaster?”

I've used similar lines and it helps to tie girls over until I see them again or to reignite old chicks. I hate texting so I'm happy to steal material from whoever.

Girls don't have great imagination and certainly they LOVE being exposed to imagination and experiences way better than they're own.

Examples:

"What an absolutely gorgeous day. I'm sitting on the sand sipping a frosty beer, like heaven."

"I can't believe how warm it was in the ocean last night, low to mid 70s!"
(this led to multiple responses wondering about me going into the ocean for a night swim)

Specific to one girl, but still, an example of randomness that some could see as shitty, but what girl doesn't like seeing a vegas-style gaming table? My text:

"Blah blah blah (late response to another text). Been working [insert picture of a pristine roulette table and the rest of the party getting started in the background (I deal craps/roulette/blackjack/poker from time to time)]"

I'm a fan of picture messaging. If I do something cool or interesting/unique I'll take a picture and even months later if the girls I'm texting haven't seen it, I'll just randomly shoot them the picture. As an example, a cool view off of my friend's 2nd floor beach house, a picture of horses (great, great date place), a particularly beautiful sunset picture, or a picture of some cool food (such as a guinness ice cream float).

Living where I live and having the larger social circle than I used to has opened me up to experiences that aren't even that amazing but beyond the scope of most girl's boring day to day life. Just send them something intriguing/unique/exciting/imaginitive and you'll get a way better response than "hope you're enjoying the day off "

I'm not a huge mass texter, but my text game is improving and I attribute it directly to mixing short, compact answers with longer imaginitive/interesting texts. When I mass text it's usually to between 3-5 girls and I try to keep it really interesting or I just don't send anything.

You have to pull girls out of their world of instant-gratification where anything they're doing is praised. Pull them into YOUR most-interesting world.

I've been trying out using conditional and suggestive language to probe girls about their availability.

Because I have so many numbers in my phone, I have trouble keeping track of which girl is in the city, and which are out of town.

I also don't want to ask them any questions and am trying to message them with statements.

Today, I tried sending:

"Could be a good day to get a drink"

Unfortunately, it's not as colorful and fun as my last text, but it might help me get a sense of who is around to meet up today.

Ideally, these texts should create some kind of emotional reaction I think.

This is why I try very hard to screen when I first meet a girl. I know that I'm going to forget what she looks like once she gets into my phone, so I try to make a note when I enter her name like " OK 8 Liz lovestosuckz"

When I get a girls number I always ask a pic for my contact list, usually during the first round of texting. They almost never refuse; girls are vain and like to show themselves off

By having a pic i don't get them confused and know where they rank in terms of looks

This is gonna sound dumb but I just got an iphone 4s recently and I'm not sure how to effectively mass text. I know there's a group message thing to put multiple contacts in but I don't want the girls knowing their all apart of the same message obviously. Any info would be appreciated.

Did those idiots at apple really blow this one for guys texting multiple girls?

Went through my contact list and deleted all my cold leads last night. I do this every two or three months; at some point i just cant stand seeing them in my contacts if they never respond to me. As long as she responds every few weeks I'll keep her in, but if not she's gone. Time for a fresh start!

Turning over new leaf today.

There are numbers that have been in my phone for over a year.

I usually don't delete numbers, but I've decided to get rid of any numbers that seemed to familiar. I have an old phone and don't remember what a lot of the girls look like.

I'm sick of seeing the same names every week.

Sent out a last hail-mary text telling them that I'm deleting them. Only one response out of 25.

Here are some conclusions from my year long experiment with mass texting.

Yes, there are some girls that will respond out of the blue. That's great, and I've gotten bangs from it. However, I believe that maybe some of them have me on block.

If you have a smart phone that can contain millions of numbers without a problem, it doesn't matter if you erase them or not.

I think I'm going to finally upgrade to a phone that will allow me to mass text girls with one button and will allow me to see info on the person I'm texting.

I've wasted a lot of time manually sifting through dead numbers to get the girls that have actually responded.

I thought about getting a new phone as well Soup but all the new ones are horrible for mass texting. Iphone's and androids tell everyone that your text was sent to multiple people and the Iphone shows the contact info of every person you text to everyone else I believe.

I didn't realize you had a old phone like me when I pm'd you for phone advice.

Cant you just make groups in your phone for different girls? I have a 4 folders for how hot the girl is (1 2 3 4) and I put a "br" for brunette and a "c" for curvy or "t" for thin beside their name etc. I only got about 50 numbers so its easier to remember.

I have a flip phone that doesn't even have folders, a touch screen or any kind of blackberry features. It's super old school
