btw-I mentioned earlier that AA and NA groups don't generally mix. In my experience alky's don't like addicts at their meetings. However, addicts consider alky's addicts also so they are more open to AA types at their meetings. This may vary by area as well.

It does vary all the NA/AA meetings in my town are essentially congruent with one another, the same people generally attend both.

There was a guy at my work that told me to try going to AA meetings. He got kicked out of one for sleeping with women in the meeting. One chick found out he was banging two of the other ones.

So I went to one of the local ones a few times. There were two girls in the one that I frequented. One was pretty. But she got into a car wreck, got a DUI and the side of her face was all scarred up. She lost custody of her daughter and they put her in fostercare


So, since that didnt work out. I went twice to a sex and love addicts anon meeting. That was kinda scary. It was all dudes and all but one went (besides me!) because they were closet homosexuals and had issues with admitting their sexuality. Bwaaaahaaahaaahaaa!!!!!!

So I wont go to the sex addicts meetings. I am going to try and find another AA meeting that has a bigger pool of members. There are also a bunch of debtors anon meetings too. Might hit one of those up. (That might actually do me some good at that one.)

They have explicit policies that those groups are NOT for hooking up. If you try to game there, you'll probably be uninvited from the meetings.

And I probably don't have to say this, but you won't find many attractive females at Overeaters Anonymous.
