Service by publication, at least where I am, requires a serious, sincere effort to locate the person being served and sufficient proof that such efforts were made. Don't be so sure... How many times were you with her? You said yourself you never came in her. She could easily have attempted to get knocked up by another person the same time so she could pin it on you.

Not saying its not yours but you know how convincing they can be. I've halfway believed 2 girls now in my life on this topic, both were extremely convincing but neither kid was mine. If it seems unlikely that she could have gotten pregnant by you then it probably is very unlikely.

If you don't want the kid I think its best to make that clear to her then hide for a while(months). This way she knows your serious and she will have second thoughts and possibly abort. If you keep in touch with her she will always think there is a chance you take care of it. Down the road it might be better to take the test.... It would suck to hide your whole life from a kid who isn't yours, or even if it is, hiding probably isn't quite worth it.

Odds are, it's not your kid.

If she's a month preggo, you've got 8 months to figure this out.

Once the kid is born, first things first...paternity test.

If it is yours, you should have your escape plan ready.

*You'll want a fresh passport with 10 years on it and lots of pages.

*Sell all US property and "lose" the money gambling in Vegas.

*If Thailand doesn't work out for you long term, PM me and I will arrange for you to disappear in China. I can make this happen. Obviously Cambodia and Laos are strong options, as border crossings don't seem to involve a computer record keeping.

*If you can avoid ten years of child support before your passport runs out, you're about halfway to the end of the dependent years.

*In southeast Asia, no one is going to notice that the State Department has deactivated your passport.

*Get out the moment that DNA test comes back positive.

To add... Those bitches will lie up until and even after the DNA test. It's pretty amazing that they can swear to have fucked nobody else, not even their husband within a couple months of their target baby daddy, as the DNA test is being taken. We all know chicks lie but to the extent they can lie blows my mind.

Something else you can look into is the conception date.... It's not real accurate but you can start to puzzle shit together so you can make a better decision on taking a test or dipping.

This took place in the usa, the law favors the woman in every possible way. That said, you can always sue. Can you sue and win? In this case, I wouldn't try it. Trying to get her to terminate the pregnancy is probably the best bet.

Not a lawyer, but I remember reading something at least in some states that a child is presumptively a husband's unless proven otherwise...

IF this is the case, and it's a big IF-- the baby is legally presumptively someone else's and the burden of proof is unclear then. If Fisto runs around getting DNA tested couldn't he be hanging himself, taking a risk he doesn't need to?

And wouldn't they have to subpoena his DNA? If he's personally unavailable, how can they form evidence it's his, especially if she's married to someone else?

Another possibility is she's testing him, lying to see if he WOULD stay around if she was pregnant. I know one couple where she kept having "scares" and eventually made him an ultimatum-- baby or I leave.

Sorry to hear about this man! I'm not a lawyer nor have any first hand experience or knowledge of similar situations, but what I can modestly suggest is to look for ways to secure a 2nd passport ASAP. Look into your family tree and see if you have any link to another country, even going as back as your great great grand parents. Preferably if they were from European countries. If that doesn't apply, look into the Paraguayan passport which is not hard to get and it would allow you travel pretty much anywhere visa free except the US.

In the meantime, get a 10 year US passport.

Get all your money out of your account and give it to a family member orw someone you really can trust with your life. Preferably a male, unless its your mother.

Create some extra layer of confusion by say buying a cheap ticket to say Europe with your credit card that you won't show up for. Heck I wouldn't even fly, I'd hop on a cargo ship to get you across the Pacific to anywhere in Asia, where you could recreate a life for yourself there. I hear fighters can have a good lifestyle in Japan, LOS or even China. You could easily disappear there, go under radar for years and totally disappear. You could start a fighting school and life comfortably off of that while banging hot lizards there.

I realize this is more geared towards an escape type of solution than legal ways of handling this in the US. I really hope that you find a way out of this mess either by your smooth talking the girl ore through your lawyer. If not then relocating to Asia is your best option to avoid 18 years if servitude to the state and that bitch through child support on a kid that may or may not be yours.

If the girl is crazy and brazen enough to steal your sperm to inseminate herself, you need to consider the possibility she may have lied about a lot of what she told you.

If she's so rich, why does she have a Green Card marriage to a Thai guy? What's in it for her?

Is she currently living with him?

If there's any way you could contact her rich daddy, that's one way to go hardcore on her. Even if you have to find someone to translate the letter to his language, tell her exactly what you will say to him. (Only threaten her with this if you can actually pull it off.)

Tell her father:
You are a nomad who has girlfriends in every port and no set residence. You never intend to settle down, marry or have kids. If you don't have a college degree, emphasize that to him. Same if you don't have a lot of money or a prestigious job. His daughter is going to look like a big whore, being a single mother with a half white (or whatever your race) kid and no dad in the picture while still married to some Thai man.

It sounds like she's pretty FOB, so she and her family will still be susceptible to shaming.

Obviously don't give away too much info about yourself in the letter which would make it easier for them to find you.

Well, if it was me, I wouldn't try running from it. I think making myself available in order to defend myself would be a better alternative. I would rather be there when discussing child support payments (after taking a dna test to confirm).

I just don't think it's possible to run from this but maybe some of our lawyers here can pop in with some advice. I would still tell her never to contact me and I would not have anything to do with her or the kid. Maybe that will knock some sense into her.

Edited to add: Never admit to anything. You don't want to give her anything that can be used against you. Cut all contact off.

This is the best advice. Stay in the US and fight. You cannot run from the big arm of US law. If you were from a small weak country, you could skip country, but, the mighty US WILL find you anywhere, at some point and in some way, if they want to. There is no escaping the USA, unless one is a Russian or say, Brazilian citizen. So:

Stay in the US, fight the legal battle, do not ever confirm nor deny anything, orally or in written. Stay mum, let your lawyer act.

Vacancier, your post is very accurate and surprisingly well detailed, but the good solutions you are describing are only useful for people in like, desperate legal situations. Child support is not, I think, terrifying enough for Fisto to go that much under the radar and drop his life altogether...

Well, unless child support in the USA is a terrible atrocious constraint, I dunno, being European... but still, your counter measures, though excellent, seem extreme, to me, considering it's only child support we're talkin about here...
