Well, reading this thread makes me reconsider about going to the beautiful USA for some fun holiday, hopefully filled with hot local women, California-styled or not...

cause men seem very vulnerable in your country, open to any kind of lawsuits...

But hey, I now remember reading, one month ago, in an European newspaper, that for the first time, a European man has been extradited from I think Germany to France, for no-paying of child support!!... so, this shit is coming our way, too! you actually can be extradited for child-support stuff in Western Europe..... better to be cautious, all of us.

God, we will have to order girls to drink our semen in front of us, right on the spot, and not let them run to the bathroom, supposedly to spit!

Hmm.... I just had a girl over the other day. In the morning, at some point, she said, "do without condom". Then she kinda joked, "I want a baby..."

Needless to say I bagged up.

Now, I nearly always, always tie a knot in the end of the condom and chuck it in the bin.

God damn that is an awful story.

Not suggesting this, bc you need to be a dual citizen, but do any lawyers know what happens if you renounce citizenship before the kid is born (regarding child support etc)?

That seems like a rather unlikely proposition since it's a matter of timing too (even if you have dual citizenship). An older friend of mine had to schedule his consulate appointment a full year in advance and according to the officer who went through the renunciation with him, it was a pretty common wait time. (This was in 2011.) Unless you can undergo some kind of expedited process, it seems to be unlikely that you'll be done before the baby is born.

I believe some countries have child support agreements. Renouncing your citizenship is a rather extreme response, imo.

Before all this speculation gets rampant, Fisto needs to get this girl to a doctor of his choosing and have her take a pregnancy test from blood, not peeing on a stick. Let's get some actual facts established instead of taking her say so. If positive, you can worry about strategies, but I would advise against taking any paternity test or making any admission of any kind.

Great news... In most states its his baby! The state only wants a provider, they don't give a sit whose life they ruin.

IF this is the case, and it's a big IF-- the baby is legally presumptively someone else's and the burden of proof is unclear then. If Fisto runs around getting DNA tested couldn't he be hanging himself, taking a risk he doesn't need to?

And wouldn't they have to subpoena his DNA? If he's personally unavailable, how can they form evidence it's his, especially if she's married to someone else?

Another possibility is she's testing him, lying to see if he WOULD stay around if she was pregnant. I know one couple where she kept having "scares" and eventually made him an ultimatum-- baby or I leave.

This is a good point. The child will be assumed to be the husband's. Even if he fails a DNA test, wouldn't they then have to find Fisto to test him? Disappearing would prevent them from testing and also from serving the papers if he was somehow found liable for child support in his absence.

I realize this is more geared towards an escape type of solution than legal ways of handling this in the US. I really hope that you find a way out of this mess either by your smooth talking the girl ore through your lawyer. If not then relocating to Asia is your best option to avoid 18 years if servitude to the state and that bitch through child support on a kid that may or may not be yours.

I've seen the European citizenship mentioned a few times on the forum and elsewhere but my research hasn't supported that claim. From what I've found, they don't grant citizenship for anything less than immediate ancestry (i.e. your parents). Now, perhaps if your parents secured citizenship through your grandparents, who claimed theirs through your great grandparents, and so on and so forth, you would be eligible.

I'd love for someone to prove me wrong on this but I have European ancestry on both sides as early as my great grandparents and from what I have gathered I am not eligible. I believe Ireland is one country that will allow you to go as far back as grandparents but don't quote me on that.

As far as Paraguay, this is a viable option though it does take years to gain citizenship unless you have major cash to put down. Citizenship can be gained from DR and Uruguay in similar fashion. Fortunately, you don't actually have to live in the countries during that time period if you have everything set up correctly. There was a firm I came across that offered to handle it all for a fee that could be payed in monthly installments...I'm sure I have a bookmark around here somewhere if Fisto is interested. I know the DR and Paraguay don't tax income made outside the country.

Yes, you'll be found liable.

Once they track you down - 10 days or 10 years from their birth of the child - you will be hit with back child support.

If you cannot afford to pay back child support - which is sometimes in the tends of thousands of dollars - you'll be held in contempt of court.

This means you will go to jail.

Owing back child support also means no driver's license.

Your passport can be revoked.

I hate to use such scary language, but you are a big boy who can handle it.

This is very serious.

IKE always mentions imputed income or something like that where judges can determine what you should be earning and basing the child support off of that.

The girl hasn't lived with her "husband" for almost 2 years.

This was her first boyfriend and she moved to Las Vegas with him against her parents wishes. He's older than her (she's just now 24 he's around 35 I think) and was illegal. After a few attempts to get a green card by paying for it, he convinced her to marry him. She believed they would be together and all that blah blah. Found out he was seeing another girl.

Anyway, about 6 months later she met me. Never dated a white guy before, had never had an orgasm, totally inexperienced in sex.

I'm sure this is part of the reason she's so obsessed.

IF she is pregnant, I think it's mine and she seems to be adamant about having it.

IF she isn't, I think this is a ploy to control me/tie me down.

She doesn't have any of her own money, her stepfather is wealthy, I know this because he's always sending her money and she's bought me a lot of expensive gifts (which I haven't mentioned on here because Ali would be a jealous hater

She has already told me that her parents will be livid with her if she tells them she's pregnant and not married.

I had a friend take her to an actual doctor (since I'm not in the state at the moment) and she's had her blood drawn. Waiting on those results.

I'm forming a game plan now.

If it's as difficult as Merenguero says it is to do the "publication" thing, then I don't think she will pursue child support to that length.

I've talked to a couple of attorneys and if the worst case scenario plays out, where she has the kid, I think I will be able to protect myself considering she's "married" and also because it will be almost impossible to serve me.

So many things can happen between now and the end of the term so I'm not going to get too worried just yet.

Truth!... If you see that kid it will change your life... even if you just go to LV and start going to doctors appointments with her it will change everything. Everybody says it wont happen to them but it always does. It's just natural.
