I don't think PSY is quite played out, but I expect costumes from Gangnam style will be very popular. It's not a bad costume though unless you think you'd be uncomfortable with it.

Remember all that Occupy Wall Street and 99% stuff? Last year, some finance friends of mine went out with white t-shirts saying: "We are the 0.01%" Could work, depending on the crowd.

I went as this last year. Pinstripe suited down with a sign that said get a job you slackers. Everyone loved it.

I've heard a cop is a good one you can pretend to actually be a cop and ask for I'd as an opener. I'd pick anything that you can use as a prop and you can roleplay with.

My method is to pick characters from old school movies and TV shows with a look that is easy to duplicate. For some of my best, I've gone as Walker Texas Ranger, Indiana Jones, and Zoolander.

This year, I'm thinking about going as Mel Gibson in Braveheart (I have the hair).

Maybe its just me but I feel like some guys are missing the point. Doooo NOT go as something funny if you are looking to get some ass. The point isn't to make people laugh, its to give people the wow factor (now I'm not saying don't go as something hilarious or whatever you want to go as, however-imo, this thread was started to help guys be more succesful as scoring on Halloween night).

I'm just gonna give a semi-rundown, since Halloween I think has become my favorite holiday and I unfortunately missed it last year due to being overseas. Everyone should look into Brad P's sexy stereotypes for ideas on what they should be. I love Halloween cause its a chance to dress up, the girls get NO shit for looking sexy as hell (skimpy), and everyone is looking to bust loose so its a PERFECT time for game.

Play up your advantages, if you're big/fit wear something that will at least show it off a bit. Thrift stores (although I hope you guys would already know this, or at least those on a tighter budget these days) are GREAT for picking out random pieces and coming up with something good. Costume ideas will also have to depend on where you are and what party are you going to? Live in a career city? Don't wear a suit (unless you got good accessories). Spending time with your boys? Go ahead and do something funny. Going with a group? Do a group theme, however I'd expect the Avengers to be one of the main ones this year-along with every Asian to be Psy (just like every lameo was the Joker or Borat a couple years ago). Gonna be on a campus? Etcetera.....And also, consider (possibly) what you think would be sexy as hell on another girl (that you would like to find that night) and therefore what her counter would be. I might be wrong (and I want others opinion on this) but I would think a girl who was a police woman or flight stewardess, might have a better vibe with a guy who was another policedude or pilot (you understand what Im saying? Just an idea). Also-you can use your costume for pieces to play/interact with a girl. Again, wanna be a police man? HANDCUFFS!! Great way to interact with her as well as possibly escalate things later on .

Whatever your idea is, be original (whether its the original idea or what your costume is-DON'T buy your costume at a store, assemble it from different nice pieces of clothing that work well together)-be snazzy, be ballsy and just go for what the hell you want.

I went as JGL from Inception (the hallway scene) with a gun holster and toy replica that legitimately looked real-a couple years ago. Found a VERY nice Sandy (50s girl) over the two nights I went out-finest chica I had been with at that point.....fucking A I love Halloween!!!

And oh yeah, as already stated and referenced-if you wear any significant face paint (blood or limited special effects are fine, but nothing real heavy or concealing) or a mask-you're an idiot and asking for no fun.

Also, just remembered/realized-do Bane if you are jacked. Forgot that was an option, but then again a lot of other guys will be doing it. (If you are legitimately jacked though and willing to put in the money to make it a good one-Im sure people would dig it). Because of that reminder also, I'm thinking there will be a LOT of chicks being Catwoman and possibly Black Widow as well.

I was going to recommend christian grey but I couldn't find any costumes that would be obvious enough without being cheesy. I'd also worry about coming off as try-hard and wind up attracting all the wrong kinds of women.

Last year I dressed as Charlie Harper from Two and a Half Men. Had the bowling shirt and beige shorts with the socks and boat shoes. Also spray died my hair black with the temporary stuff. Cost maybe $25 total. First costume I've had where people just laughed and new exactly who I was being. It probably also helped that he was in the media everyday last year.
