But yea I guess the verdict is still don't go to Gangnam if you're foreign (Octagon if anything - but seems like that was even tough, even with a table)

I was never in Korea before last year but Itaewon definitely isn't bad in terms of girls (also taking into consideration that there is more "normal" lighting here vs. Gangnam club lighting). Definitely some decent girls sprinkled in there - even some "10s" - though you won't catch those types at Thursday Party.

Downside of Itaewon being clubs outside Gangnam suck (subjective)

This is a refreshing thread for a guy who used to hang in Seoul 15+ years ago when stationed there. It was always a great pickup place, glad to hear in a lot of ways that's still true.

In my experience there were always anti-foreign clubs, but often times it wasn't always anti-foreigner as it was anti-drunk American GI idiots they didn't want busting up their club. If your game and look was tight enough, they might let you in anyway - used to pull it off all the time even at ostensibly anti-foreign joints. Some places though, forget it unless you're with a Korean crowd.

Gangnam was always a hot area but never had many foreigners and zero military guys knew about it - sounds like that's changed a bit. One thing I've noticed is the prevalence of surgery is even more widespread than it already was in the late 90's-early 2000s. Every chick gets an eye job, boob job and eventually, "virginity restoration" the same way an American girl would get braces.

My 2-cents is...
If you are a Caucasian Male. You will do MUCH better/laid much faster, in South-Asian places. Ez-mode. (Philippines, Thailand)

Most 'native' East-Asian women (especially the more educated/well-off ones). Are more into guys that don't look-so-different than them. It's not that I'm trying to discourage anyone by race, but I'm just saying from observation: there's an extra layer to deal with if you look different from them, they have a higher guard/probably also mindf**k LMR against people who looks different. My Korean sister actually told me after I asked her, why not Caucasian guys? She literally answered, well they are too scary, crazy and different.

If you are presistant for East-Asian women and not South-Asian. Ofcourse you can get around it, by specific-targeting foreigner-lovers or by changing your aggressive approach to a more passive-neutral approach. Good on you! My personal list sorted by difficulty is: East-Asian, Middle-Eastern, European, South-Asian/Latin, Blacks. If you can do EAs well, probably everything else is a-step easier

I been lurking here for quite a bit but never bothered to post. I'm a 5'11, late 20's white guy. I was in SK for the last 5 weeks and can confirm its notoriously difficult compared to other Asian countries. I managed only 2 scores during my time there. I haven't had any success outside of the foreigner friendly areas. I.E. Itaewon. Gangnam was always a shit show for me and I avoided it my last 2 weeks I was there. The quality of the girls there in the clubs or bars is incomparable to anywhere else but its literally way too difficult. They either pretended I didn't exist or I guess were afraid of being seen talking to me. I remember my 2nd night at octagon I tried making rounds on some of the Russian girls I spotted after I gave up on the locals but they too, ironically were either disinterested or would stop talking to me as soon a Korean guy would walk by to engage them. The worst part of my trip was being denied entry 3 times at 3 different RS even when I was with my Korean friend. There's too much subtle racism going around in SK.

Davis44, sorry to hear that you been denied entry. I have NEVER in my life been denied entry anywhere in Korea (Went clubbing in every single major city) and it's been my base in Asia for many years.

We're basically the same age, height but I'm asian. I have seen other asian GIRLS being denied entry for "style" and for being "fat" (cruel...but I prefer selective clubs) I'm wondering if you fit in the above categories?

At least you did get 2 lays in a notorious difficult country! Happy hunting

The clubs I didn't have any problems getting in. I'm fairly above average in the looks department and I'm usually well dressed when i'm roaming about. I was referring to room salons. I've never been but my friend was adamant on taking me to one. Unfortunately never got the chance. They'd ok us over the phone and give us the address, but once we show up and they saw my face it was game over.

^^Did your native friend go with you to the room salon or did he just send you there on your own? Being white, you should've been OK, it's usually the swarthy skinned guys that get the blatant rejections. I've gone to RS with white guys a handful of times, never seemed to have a problem once they were vetted by locals who were regulars.

Naver maps is the way to go in Korea. If you mean in the Pyeongtaek area, I would assume plenty around the area of the US army bases.

Google won't agree to block out places of interest to the Korean government (military stuff + whatever else) so the Korean government is stiff-arming them. Plus propping up Naver and Daum is good in the short term.

So I just got to Busan.

Finally my work isn't putting me in one of the assholes of the world.

My hotel is right next to the main station (i dont even know if it is a bus or train station yet).

Anyway, I crossed the main road and all of a sudden I was in PAttaya or on Bangla road. All sorts of whores screaming at me. I was like "Fuck yeah, atleast there is some excitement around here".
Then I kept on walking and all of a sudden I was in Russia. Loads of russian whores trying to grab me.
Then a few mroe meters down the road was china town.

So, you guys have always been good at answering my ignorant-as-fuck-questions...
So; What the fuck have I just walked into?

My best guess is that because they have the worlds biggest shipping port here, this is a place for all the boat workers from around the world to get off their boats and fuck some hookers?

I would not recommend South Korea for latinos, east indians or middle eastern people. It's tough for them in South Korea, when i was there i didn't saw even one mixed race couple ( it's a better place for white guys).

China would be a better option, South Korea will be similar from difficuluty as western europe or america ( maybe a bit easier, because south korean girls will be easier to approach and they're sweeter) but it will still be a challenge.

Just got done on a trip to South Korea. Went there with my friend THC. I was really surprised by the hottness of the women. I've done a lot of traveling but I don't think I've ever seen a higher percentage of 'bangable' women. I just spent 6 months in Ukraine and the percentage of bangable girls in Korea is quite a bit higher (although the stunners look better in Ukraine). Coming from Japan I was also impressed with the English level of the average Korean girl, which made it a lot easier to game them. The nightlife was pretty great and I got laid a ton, I am surprised I haven't heard much about south korea... hottest women in Asia, decent English level, quite easy. My only regret was that we didn't plan a longer trip there.

I'm curious about going back and checking out Busan, which I have heard is a much more sexual place. Not sure if that's true. I'm here writing this from the Philippines, while Pinay girls are obviously easier, I am honestly missing South Korea.

I see Scandinavian and white western guys doing well, but Arabs, Southern Asians and Latinos not so well. That's why there are contrasting reports on the place. I'm really impressed that you did so well in Korea as I never met anyone staying a short time pulling a lot of k-girls. I remember when I was part of the Korean lair group a few years ago, some top international PUA went out with some lair guys and he was getting blown out by nearly every set.

Basically they would look at him and then "decide" he didn't exist in their world. He said it was a humbling experience and couldn't even run his "game" most of the time since the girls wouldn't even acknowledge him.

The best guys I met that pulled quality girls usually had these 2 things going for them:

1) spoke decent korean
2) lived in Korea for 1+ year

Curious to which areas/venues you went to?

That sounds like a pretty accurate description. I know several Korean American guys who speak great Korean, make cash and are pretty good looking and even they get blown out a lot, not to mention find it very hard to compete with the chaebol kids for the top tier talent... so I too am wondering what type of venues THC and 20Nation hit up.

I'm going to remain hopefully optimistic that they weren't just banging the Korean equivalent of farang-hunters in Hongdae or around the scummier parts of Itaewon. And I'd be incredibly surprised if they were able to get with top tier chicks at places like Octagon.

To answer your guys questions I am 6'1 with dark brown hair and brown eyes but I am 100% white. I would say above average looks but not a model. I am sure some of the girls were farang hunters but not all.

I slept with 4 girls in my week in Seoul. 2 from Tinder, one from Hongdae (street approach) and one from Octagon. There were more rejections in Korea than there were in Japan, but when they didnt reject me from the beginning it was much easier to game them because they actually spoke english (english level in Japan was really low). Compared to Japan it felt a lot easier just because I had the chance to really talk to them (although crazier shit happened in Japan).

The girl I hooked up with from Octagon told me the friend she came with that night ended up going home with a famous Korean MMA fighter, so I think the competition in famous places like Octagon is quite steep (although I had no idea at the time).

Those numbers are spectacular, the best one I know pulled around 100 in the 2 years that he lived here. and he had basically the same stats as you in terms of looks/height and was 100% white. He was also slim build. (Which the majority of Korean girls like) He also spoke near fluent Korean.

Did you run pretty much the same "game" on all 4 of the ones you pulled?
Can you provide an example dialogue on what you would do from meeting to bounce back.

Well, the two tinder dates were pretty standard, but the girls seemed to be pretty impressed I spoke russian and spanish and spent the last 5 or 6 years traveling the world (in some countries all they care about is if you will stick around, but in Korea it didn't seem to be as important, or at least they imagined themselves traveling with you).

The one in hongdae I opened her in the street after an IOI and just asked where a good place to go is. Then, THC and I just went into late night game with her and her friend. We were pretty drunk so I can't really remember the dialogue much after the open, but we ended up getting them back to our apartment that same night. We weren't able to close the two girls that night, but the girl i originally opened was ok with meeting the next day and thats where I got it.

The girl at Octagon, there was very little dialogue because in a club like Octagon games is like 99% body language (music is too loud to talk). I just focused on body language and things went well.

To think that an average white guy will do as well as 20nation/thc is unrealistic. Those guys are top 1% in terms of game/looks and actually write about it for a living. Overall, looking at s. Korea reports on this forum it seems that most guys who visit short term struggle mightily. I wonder if the country is any easier for the Yanks (military) who are stationed there and can pursue long term game. Anyone can provide first-hand experience?
