This is a good call. When I get texts from ex's late at night when I'm out, or drinking, I just delete them immediately. By the time I wake up, I don't even remember getting them.

You can think of it like being a car salesman in a lot on a street with a lot of other dealers.
She gets excited by something you have but you have not sold her yet.
She says she is going to come over to sit in the car and see if she wants to buy it.
For whatever reason she says she is not coming today but might come another day.
Hey no problem, but some other people are interested in that one so don't wait too long.
If you go hey bitch my time is valuable, the chance of selling to her is now zero.

Remember the deal is not done til the paper is signed.

A smart salesman works on other customers and lets that one stew. But is ready to if she shows up on the lot.


Another thing is that people's energy levels change hour by hour. I have had bad days where I didn't really want to go out, but after a shower and a drink I am good to go.

I was thinking that if I was feeling really froggy I might have said.

"Hey later this week might work better. A friend has been texting me, wanting to hang out.
I was saying no, that I have other plans. So if you really don't want to come over tonight?"

Flip the script or Flip the Flake.
