The attitude is that they don't want to interfere. Even if it's a two-set, the other friend will just quietly stand there and stay out of the interaction as long as her friend is occupied with a guy. I saw no cockblocking. And girls aren't constantly wandering around like social butterflies who can't stand in one place for even 2 minutes. This was truly one of those times where traveling is an eye-opening experience and you can't help but realize that something is rotten back home.

Well I'm glad Neil got a taste of the L.A. scene. I'm curious to hear his impressions as an outsider and how it compares to other international destinations. I'm convinced L.A. nightclubs are utterly useless for 95% of men. IOW, I bet at any given night only about 5% of the men in any given venue will either get laid that night or get a non-flaky number that leads to getting laid. The fact that dudes are spending obscene amounts of money on bottle service is a testament to that fact. If most guys were pulling at these spots, what would be the incentive to buy a table and bottles? The only incentive I can think of is to sell this dream that if you spend all this money and look like a big baller, the hot girls will be accessible to you. Otherwise you'll be just another nobody wandering the floor trying to open girls with Mystery Method.

I agree with this 100%. But you're no longer in Mexico and I'm no longer in Paris.

Reflecting on last night, I'm being a pussy and a quitter. I know we talk a lot about where to get the best pussy on earth. But to me game is about adapting.

Last night I made more progress than the week before. I had more interactions, better interactions. If I was a master PUA, if there was such a thing, then I'd be in a place to say, "This place sucks. No more." But I'm intermediate at best. The reality is I was in a venue with dozens of fucking hot women and I didn't get very far. As Neil said, "There's not a single girl here I wouldn't fuck."

Every code can be cracked. Especially since this place is free for me, it'd be stupid to not go back.

I am pretending that the average guy can use my strategy.

This is not possible. I have been working hard at my method for a good 3-4 years. I was terrible for the first year or so.

It is unrealistic and trollish to expect guys with zero day game experience to be able walk onto a college campus and get results. I myself couldn't get any results until nearly a year and hundreds of approaches.

To expect inexperienced guys to be able to do it just bad advice on my part.

I made it sound too easy. It's not easy. I have years of practice.

Sometimes, I forget this.

5 years ago, my game was shitty, but, now, I can comfortably say, my game is good. Not great, but pretty good.

I love when guys call me out. It always helps me get back in touch with reality.

All I can say now is, I encourage you guys to talk to girls during the day. On your morning commute, on your coffee break, on your lunch break, after work, at the store, etc. This is the only way to improve daytime flirting skills. That is how I started.

Just start saying hi and asking where a pet shop is.

That's how I feel about most places in LA, especially those on the Westside. Bungalow and the Victorian were full of these kinds of girls - white rich private school educated, run with the same provincial circle week after week. You just walk into these places and feel that none of the girls want to bang.

Harvard and Stone, at least until a year ago, you'd walk in and feel like there were girls there who wanted to fuck, eventually if not that night.

I think it's way too soon to write up an accurate impression on LA nightlife but last night I was seriously overwhelmed in this club. Like I said to Thedude3737 last night; I better get famous fast if I want to get laid with these kind of girls.

This was my stomping grounds. Lots of Latina cougars at Padri's (or just older Latinas 30s-40s) on saturday nights. My story wouldn't really apply to others because I'm actually a grad student. But that's why I said count me as only 0.2 because I really should have been doing much much better given my situation.

One pointer for those that might be interested in the undergrads: there's a Target that opened a year or so back in Westwood. You can find tons of students in there (well, maybe not right now, it's summer break) especially just as the fall quarter is about to start. They also have shuttles that take the undergrads from the dorms to Target to shop on weekends. But I don't know the specifics of that schedule.

Agree with speakeasy. The next time I'm in LA and I go out, it'll only be for special events and to check out a new spot with friends. Between costs of parking, dinner, parking again, bar/club, I could have a night fifty times better in Vegas.
