RE: The Los Angeles thread
DVY dropped some good knowledge but as a fellow daygamer, I'd actually recommend Santa Monica AS LONG AS YOUR PLACE IS a few minutes away from the Promenade. I like the girls there better as you'll find tourists and shoppers vs dtla where it's mostly workers (corporate couch) although FIDM is there but that's about it. Yes, nightlife is there so depends on which strategy you want to employ

RE: The Los Angeles thread
On a Sunday Venice would be good if you stay at the Hotel Irwin, there's a rooftop and if the weather is decent. However, quality on the Venice Boardwalk and Beach is atrocious. Your best bet if you like day drinking is hang out at the bars at the end of Washington Blvd in Marina Del Rey. I really don't think there are very many other options. There's a farmers market in Santa Monica on Sundays on Main Street which really is more of food stalls and people hanging out in front of the Victorian and Abbott Kinney is always good to hang out in but you're not going to pull a girl there in all likelihood. There are more bars and walkable areas around the 3rd street promenade, but its going to be pretty dead on a Monday and Tuesday.

I'd probably also recommend staying near the Promenade and if you like to Daygame, take the #1 Big Blue Bus down to UCLA.

RE: The Los Angeles thread
Appreciate all the help from each one of you.

Sounds like daygame = Santa Monica near the Promenade but nightlife downtown LA no? Im guessing if I stay a few minutes away from Promenade, getting an uber to downtown LA shouldn't be too expensive. DVY mentioned public transportation too I think.

In regards to the Abbey, after visiting the site, its a FULL gay bar it appears. Is the talent really worth that headache? Sounds like it is but I just wanna make sure.

Any particular spots that aren't dead on a Monday and Tuesday? I know thats rough since its the beginning of the week. My backup is I do have a girl out there that actually will probably want to stay with me both nights but I wanted to try and pull some others especially since I plan on returning depending on how I the trip goes.

Thanks again fellas.

RE: The Los Angeles thread
Abbey is what i call a half-half gay bar. Its famous so you get tourist hot girls that want to see the gay clubs. Swoop as normal. I don't do any other gay bars because its a waste of time.

Sunday Abbey during warm weather is probably the best venue for quick sex if you aren't too picky. Gay vibes are lets get in vibe. Girls soak it up and get wet. Thats my 2c.

Daygame is pretty tough SM unless you stay there long time or you manage to scoop a tourist who is there for a few days. Tons of people walking around w/family. Then again I've never really done "day-game".

LA is a tough city for a short trip imo.

Just stay DT as noted above. Tons of places within walking distance or very short cab ride. What's your budget for lodging?

Thanks again guys.

My budget for Sunday and Monday (checking out Tuesday) is about 600 although I'd prefer to spend less if I can. Either way, I wouldnt mind spending 300 per night.

Then you pretty much have your pick of DT assuming you aren't going for a suite. The Standard is a good spot especially if it's sunny for their rooftop pool.

RE: The Los Angeles thread
airbnb is good too, but assuming you want primo location choose something in heart of dtown preferably at a high end spot. Ritz Carlton near staples has unbelievable lobby bar. Truly unreal jawdropping talent. JW marriot not bad either. Katsuya is pretty nice for their happy hour especially towards the end. Flemings is always packed and a good place to take a girl. Tons of FOB girls rolling around there.

Bunch of good spots dtown. Hotel lobby bars or rooftop bars are just fire lately. rooftop bars are amazing when warm (day-time weekends)

hey Gents, I was wondering if anyone here could advise which neighborhood is best to live in in LA? I'm moving to be approximately between DT and The Grove for work purposes, which leaves numerous hoods.

Interesting.. I think those neighborhoods definitely have a lot of girls living in them. And being close to WeHo/Hollywood can't hurt either.

I would extend this up to Sunset Blvd.

Of course, those girls are going to be more challenging.

I have noticed the westside has gotten worse for solo game. It seems more larger groups of mixed group of friends are going out nowadays, makes it harder to break in.

Downtown has been decent in some spots.

RE: The Los Angeles thread
I've been having a lot of fun swooping on the tourist girls at Santa Monica pier recently. It's almost too easy.

Rent an AirBNB if you have to whenever you day game in Santa Monica.

3:00-4:30 has been my sweet spot for walking around the pier. A lot of them have got their beach time in by that point and are ready to walk around and see what's out there. Catch them before dinner or invite them back for a typical American meal at your crib. Foreign girls have no idea what an American meal looks like. Gotta give them a story they can tell their friends back home.

Biggest problem I have is that I'm always doing this solo. It would be fun to bring back a big group of girls and do some crazy shit. Most guys don't vibe with my style of game though, and I'd rather roll solo than be tripping over someone else.

Interesting. Where are the best places to meet UCLA girls? On campus seems balls deep? Are there any bars they congregate at in particular?

Funny enough, the main UCLA party bar near campus, O'Hara's, just closed down a few months ago. No idea why, considering it was packed every Tuesday and Thursday. The only real bar within walking distance of campus now is Barney's Beanery, and that spot isn't very happening from what I've seen, though maybe that's changed given O'hara's closing.

You'll meet the most UCLA girls at Cabo Cantina (on Wilshire/Westgate), Q's (next door to Cabo), or Mom's Bar (Samo/Bundy). Thursdays are the best night for this since on Fri/Sat, most UCLA girls who are old enough to go to bars/clubs will spread out over LA so there usually won't be one spot in particular.
