Doing my rotations within the clinics.
Had a brutal exam period but aced all of them with an average of 90/100.
Continue to lift albeit with lower weights because I'm simply dead tired when I get into the gym.

Am studying conventional knowledge to get through school whilst I'm also trying to read as much as I can in order to obtain wisdom.

Slowly plowed myself through Scott Adams's Persuasion Reading list after one year of reading (currently at The Secret to Selling Anything by Harry Browne).

Finished a huge project which took me 3 month to complete - a PDF with all of Mike's (from Danger and Play) works from 2016.

Now the battle continues.

I'd be dead were it not for the Roosh V forum - you guys give me energy when I'm spent and motivation when I wish to throw my table through the window.

I shoveled snow from a large balcony today, probably moved about one and a half to two tonnes of wet snow.

Are you in the north east US? If so, apparently you guys are gonna get pounded the next couple of days and so are we on Canada's east coast. I have the shovel, salt and sand ready but I'm really getting sick of this shit especially after getting pounded with over a meter of the wet, white stuff in four days a couple of weeks ago.

Anyway I had a leaking toilet valve and in order to unscrew the nut at the bottom of the tank I had to bust out my pipe wrench:



I've had this damn pipe wrench for years, I don't remember where I picked it up but it's huge and heavy and I know I took it thinking "I'll need this someday". Well today was the day, been lugging it around for years and today was the first time I've ever used it.

Yes shoveling is quite the exercise. But right now it looks like the weather will be clear of snow the next couple of weeks.
No, I am not in America. I live a few miles south from the arctic circle in Scandinavia.

Gym at 6am, protein at 9 am, ate an entire large Dominoes BBQ pizza at 10am, clogged the toilet at my work at 11am (didn't tell anyone, just walked out), ate lunch at 12pm.

It's as easy as a glue gun to squirt metal, for sure. To get good fusion, penetration and finish will take time to learn. Very satisfying when you start getting some skills.

With arc, I'd recommend learning about different rods and positional welding. It's a great skill to learn. Shit's always gonna break and need welding, and you can't program a robot to do that so easily as you can to do the same weld 1000 times a day. And even then, the guy programming the robot needs to be a welder.

On the night in question, 3 ovuii's before me, and 5 after all "spun around ballerina style" and the road conditions were "smooth, with no evidence of moisture" even though two were off of country roads, and weather reports are saved.

Had the cops cleared the previous Microsoft word document, I'd be singing the blues right now instead of drinking Busch beer and shooting at wild cats.

Snapped our huge stone bandsaw blade on a 5 tonne boulder.

Cut down the broken section and re welded it. Snapped again.

Went down to the welding supply store and bought some different filler wire, came back to the farm and welded it again with the S-6 wire.

Been running through that boulder now for two days.

Got inspired to take out the MIG weld, welded two nails together, and then welded some legs to a forge I'm working on. Has anyone built a forge before?

Taught my son a life lesson in a real scenario..

Went to a sit-down restaurant for my sister's birthday (think Ruby Tuesday's, Olive Garden, etc.). Myself, my kids, my sister, and my mother.

Sitting around the table, the waiter shows up to introduce himself and asks about drinks and appetizers. The waiter (young kid, maybe 22-23) has a bit of a "flair" to him, but based on his appearance and overall behavior, it's questionable whether or not he plays for the other team. Not that I give a shit, I'm more interested in fine tuning my observational skills. My gut says he's a swisher, but I've seen nothing to confirm or deny with any certainty.

As he leaves the table, my 13 year old son leans over to me and says, "Dad.. is the waiter.."

I look at him with a puzzled look. I already know what he's thinking, but he and I have also been working on subtlety. So my son motions his eyes underneath the table, and I look down to see his outstretched hand twisting back and forth (the 'wishy-washy' hand sign).

"(Son), why do you think that ?"
"I'm not sure. Just a feeling, maybe ?"
"I don't know either, champ."

With that, the waiter returns with the drinks. As he stands at the side of the table, between my son and I, handing drinks out, I notice a tattoo on the inside of his left forearm near his wrist of two male symbols intertwined.. there's my conformation.

My son can't see the tattoo because he's on the waiter's left side. So when the waiter leaves, I press my son a bit further..

"So why do you think that ?"
"I don't know.. just a.. what's that thing you call it ?"
"A hunch ?"
"Yeah, a hunch. Like, I feel like he's a guy that likes other guys. But I don't know if he is."
"Ok.. get your phone out."
"Ok."
"Look up 'male and female symbols'."
"Ok."
"Got 'em ?"
"Yeah."
"Ok.. now.. pay attention.. and please.. be subtle about it ?"
"Ok ?"

Appetizers show up, then the main course. As the waiter is going around the table placing dinners in front of each person, he places the plate in front of my mother, and my son sees the tattoo. My son looks at me with his eyes a little wider.. he just got it.

The waiter leaves, and as my son starts to say something, I say, "Later." He nods, and we finish our meal. Leave the restaurant, and once we're home, my son and I talk..

"(Son), that 'hunch' you had ? That's your gut telling you something. That's your intuition, telling you that even though you can't determine for certain one way or the other, you know that something isn't quite 'right'."
"But he had that tattoo, so it wasn't really a hunch because the tattoo was a giveaway."
"Actually, it was your hunch.. your gut.. you had a feeling that he was gay, but you didn't see the tattoo until dinner."
"That's true. I didn't think of it like that."
"And that's the point of your gut.. your hunch.. it picks up on things you might not normally pick up on."
"You mean, like when someone's gay ?"

I have been feeling stagnant in the game and I've been forcing myself to do shit to rattle my cage and push my comfort zone.

Today I brought a girl with me the gym and this other chinese girl there had one of the best asses I've seen in weeks.

The girl I was with was even like, "wow, she has a great butt!"

So as we were leaving the gym the girl i was with was like, "you should get her wechat" and sorta laughed thinking I wouldn't do it.

So I went and cold approached and got the other girl's wechat right in front of her. She came over and she even winged the interaction for me.

Afterwards she's like, "I've never seen a guy do that."

Did cutting and grinding to the inscribed profile on my two swords (not just today, but over few days).

They are inspired by Witcher 3 "steel" and "silver" swords, with slight modifications on my part. Unfortunately they will not be functional as they will not be heat treated. It came out that I had only access to mild steel which is unsuitable for battle ready swords so it isn't smart to heat treat them.
Basically, they will be really good looking wallhangers also suitable for solo HEMA drills without contact, which serves me fine.

Further work on the grinding of blade geometry is on hold. There is too much work in both my house (bathroom renovation) and woods.
