It's becoming obvious that we're a unique collection of men. We're not MRAs (men's rights activists). We're not MGTOWs. We're not PUAs. Some of us are hardcore love tourists but not all. We're men who like chasing pussy, traveling, and fitness. We like taking risks and like soaking up knowledge. We swallowed the red pill and see the world for what it is.

We need a name because other people will put us in the PUA box, or the MRA box, marginalizing our views. They're incorrectly defining us.

But we are activists, we just don't have as much of a political agenda as the typical MRA types. Seriously, we act aggressively to encourage men to have a better lifestyle and pursue their relationship goals on their own terms.

You're right. Lifestyle MRA sounds awkward but is getting in the right direction. I don't want lose the association with Manosphere, however. I need to mull over some better terms and phrases. I'm also sure the guys in the forum will have some excellent suggestions.

In today's world, masculinity is consistently under attack. The convoluted feminine mind has been unleashed upon up us and, unchecked, it runs wild.

"Yeah, I banged a lot of guys in college, but I wasn't a slut or anything."
"I don't know why I'm not losing weight. I'm really trying. I mean, I did eat those six cupcakes last week, but I totally jogged almost three miles."
"I want to have the same career opportunities as men. I'm not going to work all those hours, though, cause, like, I want to have a life, too."

Words no longer mean anything, because you can simply rationalize the meaning away. So, it ends up that everything has to be qualified. What kind of man are you? Are you a bro? Are you a hipster? Are you thugged out? Instead of focusing on things that improve themselves and the world around them, too many men have resorted to wearing some sort of costume-like identity just to find a place in the world and be recognized by women. That shit is adolescent. If you want to wear a polo shirt with popped collar or skinny jeans or baggy jeans, that's fine, find your own style. Style, however, should be about how you address the world and not about how the world imposes an identity upon you. Otherwise, life just turns into a contest to see who can be the biggest clown at the circus.

The most subversive thing you can do today is to speak in simple, plain language. The most subversive thing you can do right now is to just say what you mean, without qualifiers, without meaningless adjectives, without hesitation, and most importantly, without retreat.

So I say that we simply call ourselves "Men," because that's exactly what we are. Men.

Every man should have standards. Every man should be free to pursue the type of women to whom he is attracted without being lambasted by the shaming language of feminists and the meaningless pap of fat-positivism. Ever man should strive to carve out his own niche in the world, to find the life that gives him pleasure and not be guilted into submission by those who tell is to "grow up" and be "real men." Even a term like "real man" no longer has any meaning. It's been hijacked and is being held in pudgy feminists hands.

It's time to take it back!

Of the suggestions so far I like "Renaissance Men" the most. A Renaissance Man is something like a "Jack of all trades", who knows a fair amount about a lot of different subjects, rather than a lot about one specific narrow field. It was held as a masculine ideal not that long ago, but nowadays everyone want to be a specialist.

If Renaissance Man is a non-starter what about looking to the Bond franchise for inspiration? To be honest James Bond is probably the fictional character that comes closest to what we are all trying to become.

Though it's not from Bond, but from Austin Powers I think, I also like "International Man of Mystery"

I said before we should blanket all this into a religion so Roosh is tax exempt like the Scientologists. Shit the entire man-o-sphere should be tax exempt. We just need to add some sort of old biblical text to support our beliefs like man must honor her husband or something and this is gods word of how to make that happen. I'd say these forums are fairly intellectual. In our dealings with game and lifestyle, there's a certain scientific approach to how we discuss various topics. Theories get batted about, someone chimes in with real life experiences, maybe the occasional master opens the book of knowledge on our ass. I'd say there's an Erudite culture there.

In terms of nouns, I'd say we're all players. We realize that the game isn't just women, it's life. We're players of the game of life.

Erudite Players. Sounds hokey, but at least it's accurate.

I think this is on the right track. However, as much as we discuss and criticize feminists and women in general on this forum, specifically "fighting back" against another group or gender is not what we do. It's not necessarily being alpha or beta, it's about waking up in the morning ready to work towards one's goals and desires, and actually achieving them. Confidence, style, fitness, and social techniques are what are discussed here, but basically we are working to adjust our thinking and focus our energy into getting what we truly desire as heterosexual males:

-Pussy
-Power
-Rewarding experiences
-Enlightenment

We cut out the bullshit and the lies that are thrown our way. We make logical social decisons based on trial and error, science, and proven psychology.

I think a well-known blog title really sums this up nicely.
