Papayatapper, what's the number where you personally would think, "I'm satisfied"? Or is it a "never can have enough" type deal? Joking aside I believe that an absolute number is NOT necessarily the issue. Or that it's a matter of looking back and knowing the number and wishing it was higher. Long-term regret is more for actions and opportunities that you passed up (women you didn't approach or in this case bang when you had the chance, for example) than for actions you took.

Most cities have clinics that specialise in sexual health. Google for a sexual health clinic near you and go see them.
The doctor should look at your dick and get you to give blood and urine samples.
They will most likely prescribe you something based on the visual inspection and then once your test results are back confirm what (if anything) you have and prescribe a specific treatment if necessary.

The probability is higher when they have breakout but you still can get it. Best defense is to increase your immune system so in case you had the virus , you won't have breakout and your immune system keep it dormant so chances of transferring the virus is less too

I could write a datasheet on this. For now a post will suffice:

- Diagnosis is everything. As mentioned above, a doc should look at your dick and lab results. If he looks at your shit and declares "herpes" it's bullshit.

- Many blood tests are applicable only in certain circumstances (time frame, how long you've been exposed, viral load, and many more) Lab nurses and GP's do not usually know which one you need. Many specialists also don't. Do your research and find a better specialist.

- Realise that taking antibiotics or anti-fungals or other medication might upset the balance of bacteria / yeasts etc. in your dick (and elsewhere in your body). It will increase the likelihood you'll catch a new STD. Longer bouts of antibiotics can seriously fuck you up if you are unlucky. When that happens, doctors will be of little help. So until you have a clear diagnosis don't mess around with them. If you have a diagnosis ALWAYS check that the prescription is actually effective for that specific pathogen.

- I have seen some of the most lazy testing in STD clinics. No anamnesis, no looking at the dick or incomplete lab testing. Don't just rely on some random person when your dick is on the line. Besides blood tests for viruses go with a urethra swap with bacteriogram. These are available in any respectable medical lab. They will make a culture of the bad bacteria living there and what antibiotics they respond to. Do the same with a urine sample. When your doc prescribes an antibiotic this is valuable information.

- There are many infections that are generally not tested for and can have severe health consequences. The standard STD's are just the most common. If you have symptoms it's likely you have one of the most common STD's but it's not a given. So don't think "if I get chlamydia symptoms I just take antibiotics for two days and tadaa." It's often not that easy and if you get a pathogen that's less common don't expect doctors to go the extra mile to find out which one it is. It's like playing russian roulette with your dick, where catching chlamydia is not a bullet and catching a rare infection kills you dead.

- I remember a guy who got chronic fatigue syndrome from banging sluts in Thailand. I brushed it off because until a short time ago CFS was thought to be psychosomatic ("all between the ears"). Not anymore. CFS has been linked to a certain virus now and the symptoms can knock you down, sometimes for good. This is a known medical issue that now has been shown to have a viral, infectious origin. There are many recent discoveries like this. I think this guy would have liked to know this before he banged everything south from Bangkok raw and ended up sleeping 16 hours a day for years now.
