Did my first direct approach in a while. Gorgeous girl about 5'8" with an infectious smile. She was sitting at a table chatting with her friend, a few tables away from where I was working.

I'm a student myself. Here's what you should do, ideally, if you're studying at the same university, or ideally, faculty.

In my opinion, there's a special kind of girls who are open to a casual, sexual relationship. By doing some research, you'll maximise your chances a ton.

The kind of girl I'm talking about is of course a single girl, typically a beautiful one, often popular in social media, with lots of friends (= she's not afraid of meeting new people). She's very talkative, often flirty with girls and guys at her own initiative, and wants to get to know everyone. Try to hear what others say about the girl(s), how do they behave, especially at social events, have they made out or gone home with guys in the past? Preferably not in the most recent times, but a month or two ago makes sure she's back in her comfort zone if she regretted what happened. You now have the perfect target.

Make sure you know which venues these girls go to. Events on Facebook is your best bet. Day game could work, but the by far best ones are those where alcohol is involved. Halloween Weekend!

Currently going to school to get enough credit hours to sit for the CPA exams. I attend a large public university with over 40,000 students that has a competitive football program that you've heard of if you follow college ball. The problem for me isn't getting numbers. Women give those away like nothing. The problem is converting those numbers into dates. Once I get a number these chicks text me back once; then go radio silent and I never hear from them again.

The problem at my university is hypergamy, the culture at my school, and the strong greek organizations we have here. I heard a stat that 25% of the students are in a fraternity or sorority. The openly stated attitude among female students is that they should "date" (try to lock down) the "hottest" guy that they can get. This is usually done though social circles, or frat parties which allow female 8's, 9's, and 10's to attend/drink for free; and ban all males who aren't a member. Imagine the 80/20 rule on steroids. Atheistics and social status rule; money and earning potential are irrelevant since Dad or Uncle Sam is paying the bills. Unless you're a young guy shooting steroids into your ass and a member of a popular frat; or a well known athlete, then you can't compete. The female students here would rather have a night or two with a top 10% guy then "settle" for anything less.

Lest you just think I'm a scrub who can't get laid... I have no problem with women just out of college. In fact do quite well with them. The problem is that there aren't enough of them here since this is a college town. And I'm stuck here for the next 9 years due to personal reasons.

My hit rate on campus with students is something like 1 date for every 20 numbers I get. The overwhelming majority of females on campus (85% if I had to guess) are sorority minded 8's and higher. Which sounds great until you realize that you won't get anywhere with most of them. I'm starting to work on my text game so it's more entertaining. Hopefully I'll see those ratio's go up at least a little. I've also started to intentionally target less socially connected women: Asians, Indians, shy girls, etc; and started getting some early traction doing that. I dropped out of day game for a while due to my abysmal ROI. We'll see how I do with my new targeting strategy, and limiting my approaches only to people who happen to cross my path. In order to cut down on my investment in time and energy.

I understand where your coming from. In a situation like that what you're going to have to do is scale down your expectations. If your not in Greek life, that door might be closed to you ,but that leaves you with a lot of options :

-girls athletics:

There are a lot of girls teams with cutie girls who are to busy to be in Greek life

-international girls:

Every school has a international program.Drop by the office and chat up the foreign girls.There are some cutie girls who are brand new to America.

-undercover girls

Every school has girls who you never see. I went to a school of 8,000 and during finals week I'd always see a girl I've never seen before. There girls are harder to find but well worth it, you have to hunt though.

I agree. improving my looks... (body, skin, hair cut, clothes, style, grooming, teeth, etc) had a huge effect on the way girls responded to me.

I got better results not necessarily because my conversational skills improved but because my appearance improved!

Of course, improving my look improved my confidence which improved my overall inner game which subsequently improved my outer game. It's all connected!

My main study space is being torn down for construction and I need a new place to study. I figure since I'm on an engineering campus which is a sausage fest I might try something different.
