Ok, that was pretty terrible. I fumbled my words a bit. Part of the reason was when I looked at her dead on, she wasn't as attractive as I thought. Keep the ball rolling.

#2 - Tall (taller than me) brunette by the fruit juice place

I had seen this girl earlier by the food court, but I was being a pussy. This time I would not let her slip by.

Me: Let me guess, you don't know what flavour you want either.
Her: No, they all look good
Me: I'm thinking something with coconut, it reminds me tropical weather
Her: Yea
Me: Taking a break from work as well?
Her: No
Me: School?
Her: No
Me: Ok, now I have no idea. What are you a drifter?
Her: I'm not from here, I was just doing a modeling shoot. I'm leavin in an hour.
Me: Are you a hand model or something? (I was reminiscing from that Seinfeld episode, it makes me laugh, and it makes me look like I have no idea how attractive she is)
Her: lol no, like magazines and stuff
Me: That's cool, maybe I'll see you on the cover. Listen, I know you're a couple hours away and what not, but let's keep in touch. You never know when we could cross paths again.
Her: Sure. (enters number in my phone)
Me: Have a safe trip home.

This one felt much better. She was a lot taller than me, dressed better, hot, and I killed it anyway. I texted her my name right away (like I normally do when I get a number. I say that I'm texting my name so they know who to expect a text from), and she's already texting me although I'm ignoring atm, too busy. Probably going to slow play this, you never know.

#3 - Girl with belly showing looking slutty walking towards me

Me: Hey excuse me. (I stop dead in front of her). This is kind of random, and not to give you the wrong idea, but I can see your belly. Isn't that a bit cold for today?
Her: First off, I'm 18. I have a boyfriend.
Me: I see, but about your belly.
Her: (cuteye)
Me: Ok, ok, have a good day and stay warm.

Last girl was super uninterested. Glad I stopped her anyway.

I find at the mall I'm great with stationary targets that I can comment to easily. Stopping targets moving towards/away from me is something I'm a bit rusty at. I normally wait to long to approach them, and at that point I feel a bit stalkerish following them. If this happens consecutively with a couple hot girls, I start pussying out. Plan of action is to socialize more before opening girls, and take no prisoners with ones walking towards/away from me right after.

Lol at the last chick acting like that when you already number closed a model. That was cool. I find it much harder to interact with a girl in motion. It is like an abrupt movement that requires you to play from a defensive position but I guess the more of a idgaf you have the easier it is. Nice work though, keep us updated on the model game.

2 approaches today. I got to give it to myself...lately, I'm approaching nothing but 7.5 hot 20 somethings and up. I've just relegated myself to the fact that it's going to be low return but high reward. If I keep a minimum of 2 a day and put effort in, man, that's over 700 a year. I'll have to bang several before it's all said and done.

First...whole foods at lunch. 5'5 semi athletic looking girl in jeans and shoulder sweater. Brunette with hazel eyes. She's a 7.5 looking at waters holding a sushi.
Me. Excuse me, is the sushi here good?
Her. Ya...I like it.
She looks at me like she's interested in my question.
I tell her I've never had the sushi here but get the hot bar pretty regular as I work up the street. she tells me she's from a neighboring state and we ramble about sushi and local sushi restaurants for 2 minutes or so.
Me. So...I like the fall vibe you've got going.
Her. Oh...except for my shoes...they're summer. ( she's got sandals)
me...oh ya...they are ...guess I didn't take in the whole package.
She has a similar major to me. I tell her I have a degree in engineering related to her field..
Me. Yeah...if the oil market gets better, we could open a firm together. ( I pat her on the shoulder)
Her...yeah..ha.
I joke about her being a rock nerd since she's a geologist. SHe admits she is.
She asks me what I do. She's intermittently flipping her hair.
Later she asks me another personal question I can't remember.
She says...I'm Marie.
Me. I'm robreke.
We shake hands.
We chat for another 30 seconds.
Me. Well, I'm going to grab some lunch here. You seem cool, we should hang out sometime and grab a coffee or drink.
her. Well, I have a boyfriend. I don't know if I was giving off the wrong vibe.
Me. No, you're vibe was great...I just thought you were pretty cool ( I touch her shoulder again) ....hey, nice to meet you thanks for the sushi advice.
Her. Nice to meet you too.
Oh well.

I'm thinking she was taking it as a friendly platonic conversation despite her IOIs...and was a little thrown off when I went for a date suggestion. I lightbulb went off in my head that said "you need to let it be clear to a woman that you are attracted and romantically interested before going for the number"

Second approach. Whole foods later in afternoon.
Tall brunette in yoga pants and green rain jacket. Strong 8. I walk in and we make eye contact...she looks a lingering second then looks toward the veggies.
A few minutes later, I'm near her as she's getting an avocado.
Me. Excuse me.
She looks.
Me. What's the best way to pick a good avocado?
Her. You have to feel them good.
She picks up one and puts it before me.
Her. Here, this one you could eat tonight.
I ask a few more stupid questions about how to correctly pick an avocado if you want it say , in two or three days and she tells me.
She's kind of moving off a little.
Me. Well, it's just that I've had bad luck getting good avocados lately.
Her. Yeah , they can be tricky. (semi smiling but pushing her cart away)
Me. True, Thanks.
Her. welcome (walks off)

I should have done a cold read about her looking all athletic in her workout clothes....maybe asked her if she was fueling up for a good workout. Some kind of cold read. Perhaps that would have stopped her to talk more. Also, when I walked in, I saw a ring on her left ring finger and at first I thought it was wedding. But after glancing again, I wasn't sure. That uncertainty coupled with the fact of how hot and young she was.....made me a little hesitant to persist once I opened her. Another light bulb saying " Always be confident, even overly confident and persist and control the frame in all approaches. Don't be timid. Don't pre judge if a girl will or won't like you based on her youth and beauty!"

day game is slim pickings lately. Glad I've got some repeat dates with online girls next week.

Ive had a couple of approaches in the last couple of days.

The first one I was in whole foods. I see this cute short brunette about a 6. Long story short I go up to her chat her up.

She is receptive, she has that hippie vibe so I go into my hippie mode to connect with her, and it works, she is stand around we chat and what not.

now were chatting and i ask what she does and she tells me that she grows marijuana, which is cool i dont care, though i take a closer look at her teeth and they are not up to my standers.

So i politely dip out of the conversation.

Later that day I started to kick myself for not getting the number but I had to remind myself that this year im going for quality over quantity.


Anyways fast forward to friday night.

I go out im wearing some boots, slimfit jeans and a plad shirt with the sleaves rolled up.

Eairly in the night I dont really talk to anyone, just a few people hear and there.

I enter this club, and start to walk towards the bar where I see a tall brunette ( a high 7) and her friend talking to some dudes.

I walk up next to them to order a drink, when right then and there a guy to my right strikes up a conversation with me. He ends up buying me a shot.

Sweet.

At that monument I turn to the brunette look her in the eyes and go;

Me; whats your name

Her; xxxx

Me; how do you spell that

Her; xx-xx

Me; every girl that ive ever know who spells it xxx-xx ( diffrent than her name) is crazy

Her; hahah

Me; have you meet my friend over here ( pointing to the dude that bought me the drink)

Her; you guys just meet

Me; are you stalking me right now ( with a smirk)

Her; no hahah

We start talking and her friend jumps in the conversation. At on point her friend goes " you look really handsome in that shirt"

At one point her friend does the thing where she kinda says something that would indicate that her friend is interested

Anyway they tell me that they are going to the dance floor.

I chill for a bit next to the bar then hop on the dance floor away from them.

I see two other dudes dancing next to them but I pay them no mind I just dance like im having a ball all by myself.

Earlier I had seen a guy I went to highschool with and he had told me that his brother was there. Fast foward ten min... im dancing by myself not giving a fuck. When the cute brunette just "happens" to be dancing next to me.

just as were about to dance the guy i knew from high school and his brother find me, we chat for a brief sec. I dap them up and turn my attention back to the brunette.

We start dancing, then we start grinding. During the time we are dancing she ask me how tall i am, I tell her tall enough.

After a while I tell lets go outside, she's down but goes and tells her friend then comes outside with me.

Its there where I learn that she is a nurse.

So i start some deep conversation game by stating how in my opinion nurses have a better outlook on life due to there constant reminder of their mortality, by being surrounded by death. I then ask her how it makes her feel to be able to help others. I then relate her helpful selfless nature as an example of how short life is and how we should enjoy every moment.

She is right with me the whole time, We talk a bit about travel and other things. I then sense that I probably wont pull her that night so I grab her number to meet for coffee ( i know its gay) and she seemed down ( though we'll see you never know about females).


Later in the night I saw a cute girl a brunette (7) standing by the bar looking board while some lame dude was talking to her.

I decided that she fit my criteria so I approached her and tapped her on the shoulder while the dude was talking to her.

Me; hey you seem really board

Her; yea kinda

Me; why did you come out when you know you would rather be at home watching netflix and drinking wine.

Her; haha in know right although i dont drink wine.

Me; you seem like the artistic type that paints

Her; i did play the piano

Me; ( gentle taking her hand and inspecting her fingers) yea you have the fingers for it

Her; i also used to draw to

The music was loud so i didn't hear everything she was telling me. Her brother was the dj and ya ya ya.

The convo was cut short due to the fact that she saw some chick she knew.


Overall it was a good night.

There were a couple things that stood out to me over the course of the night.

1. I got cat called twice by girls.

~ The first time im walking ( more like strutting chest out) down the street when I see a heard of fatties walking toward me. I dont even acknowledge there existence, when I hear this girl say " ummmmm" loudly.

~The second time just a block up the street, Im walking toward the club when I walk through another pack of girls. This time they all are pretty cute. I strut by them ignoring them when this slim brunette reaches her hand out, touches my chest and says " hey honey" I walk by unabashed.

Point that I have concluded is that hitting the gym has done wonders.

Even when I was talking to the two girls in the club. Every time the cute brunette would tell me something she would lean in and place her hand on my bicep.

Hit the gym boys it'll pay off.

I dont know if this is a sign of getting better but it seems that im getting way more selective.

I feel as though I am right at the edge of getting to where I want to be in the game. But I feel as though its taking for ever to break through. Hopefully over the next couple of months i can break through into that next level

Solid one today. Was in the elevator in the library going up to the ninth floor, see this cute Asian chick standing next to me (Turns out she's Chinese). We both get off on the same floor, go our separate ways. I walk the opposite way through the bookshelves and try and find a seat to no avail. As I am about to take a left through the shelves into another room, the Asian girl leaves the desk area and I decide split-second that she is A. Cuter than I thought in the elevator (I would say 7), and B. I'm gonna talk to her. I flash the smile and say that there is never any seats here, and in accented English she agrees. I tell her to follow me and I will show her a secret spot where there is always desks. She complies and I lead her to the silent study room (really just a room over) and she is amazed that I was right. During the walk I talking with her telling her to cross her fingers and just joking around. Sit down next to each other and after a few minutes I write on a post-it note "This is the super silent section so we are not allowed to talk but I think you are nice. What is your number?" and hand it to her with my pen. She reads it, smiles, and writes down her name and number. I then text her but her 4 looks like a 6 and it doesn't go through, so I motion for her phone, punch in my number and call it. It goes through and I give it back to her. I text this message "This random number just called me in the library, should I be worried? then my name". Text back and forth twice and go back to doing work. About an hour later, she gets up, tells me she leaving to go to class, and I tell her we should get a coffee this week. She agrees. This was a different approach than normal but I think it went well. As for the techniques I used, for some reason it just felt better to use and she was digging it (smiling the whole time, receptive to me touching and gently grabbing her arm, etc.) so I switched up my game substantially from normal, will see how it pans out I just texted her.

It was hottie central at the grocery store today. I hadn't been able to let my testicles drop enough to do much any approaching in that setting, but I opened a cute shopper (she didn't stick around for long) and had a strong and reciprocated flirt with the cashier (this is not terribly unusual for me).

I didn't want to chase down the other cute girls all over the grocery store. I may have to start wandering the store more, taking my time, so that my odds improve. The suburbs are usually filled with supermoms (maybe some milfs, but with huge multiple carat rings), not early 20s thin yoga pants wearing cuties.

I'm kicking myself a bit for not strolling more. And, not wearing better clothes today.

Live and learn.

I don't have to do an "all or nothing" approach. If it was on the street or on public transportation, I would have to do that, but, here in the grocery store, I can "fragment" my approach. I can break it up and take my time. This is often a better strategy then the more aggressive stuff.

This Fragmented Approach can be used whenever you know you will see the girl again..

Grocery stores, cafes, libraries, gyms, class, etc.

I think this concept is really necessary for gym game, school game., and co-worker game. You build the comfort and attraction over time. You don't go for it all in one shot.

For experts, this is just common sense. But, for newbies, I think its an important concept to understand.

Now that the sun is returning, I will return to approaching. (I usually go into hibernation during the winter)

Here are a few recent approaches:

I was at the gym, I was playing in a basketball league, there was a beautiful college girl working the scoreboard. Italian/Spanish looking, tall, thin, long hair, yoga pants, beautiful body.

I made a point to dominate the game so she would notice me. (its a low level league)

As I was walking off the court, she was eating a sandwich with her friend..

me: hey whats for lunch?
her: oh its just a sandwich from the deli across the street
me: looks good, enjoy
her: thanks

I walked to the water fountain.

I played another game. We made eye contact a few times.

After the game, I talked to her and her friend again:

me: have you guys ever heard of the "asian box"?
her: ummm, no
me: its a little restaurant near the deli
her: oh is that on the corner near petes coffee
me: ya that one, im thinking about what i want for lunch, what other options are over there?
her: well, there is the indian place and the deli and the burger joint
me: ohh i like indian food
her: ya me too, have you tried bombay garden?
me: no is it good

Blah, blah, blah. We talked about food for a minute.

I played another game.

Then, as I was leaving, we spoke one more time.

me: hey great job on the scoreboard
her: thanks
me: take care, I hope to see you playing next time
her: haha maybe, hey excuse me, by chance, do u have any jumper cables
me: i do, did u leave your lights on?
her: yup
me: where are u parked?

5 minutes later I was helping her jump start her car.

Her friend was with her.

I decided that I was going to go for it.

her: thanks so much
me: you're welcome. do u have an email or something so i can get in touch with you.
her: sure

I emailed her a week later and asked her out for a drink.

That was 2 days ago, she hasn't responded yet.

Again, I was playing basketball. Again there was a beautiful college girl watching.

She started to play with us. She was good.

It was nice but I didn't force it. I said goodbye and walked away..

But, as I was getting into my car, I regretted not going for it!

I went back into the gym. I decided that I would go for it..

I found her sitting in the same spot..

me: i was sort of regretting leaving.

me: ya you are totally the kind of girl that I would TRY to date. i don't even know your situation or anything but..
her: its totally cool, more guys should be honest like you are

We chatted a little more and I got her number.

I know I have gotten more attractive and better with my verbal game because these are the first two girls I have approached in months and I both of them seemed somewhat interested. We'll see.

Starting in April, I will be going into Spring/Summer mode which means that I will be approaching 5-10 girls per day until I get a cute, young college girls with a tight, little body.

I will post many of those approaches here.

On the bus today, near the front this guy opened an attractive woman had just gotten on, after she sat down.

I wasn't paying attention but heard her say, "Stop talking to me!", and then she got up and moved to another seat. The guy laughed it off and said to another passenger, "that was really funny".

It reminded me of the worst case scenarios presented in Roosh's books. It was really not a big deal and I respected the guy for trying.

Gio, is there a reason why you didn't go for the number?

Calibration is one of the things I have lots of trouble with. I mean getting a sense of how interested the girl is.

I know I get a bit rusty when I haven't approached in a while but I do try to go for either nothing or the number every time. Maybe email is a viable option with younger chicks?

Octavian pointed out a girl's interest from afar as I was approaching her; interest that I wasn't gauging myself while approaching.

In the last week or so, I met with a couple forum members and did a few approaches.

Hung out with a newer member, Hotline Friday evening downtown because he wanted to do some day game and I was in the mood. His game is primarily nightgame he said.

Did a few indirect approaches then which I'll document. I'll continue this in more posts as I have time. It takes a little time to post here and get the formatting right.

Purpose was to just show Hotline how easy an indirect approach is. The chicks did not move at all and were engaged. Being lighthearted also opens them up to a longer conversation.

Thought I'd pitch in my latest few sets and some self-analysis from tonight. No new notches unfortunately, but you learn more from the failures, and having more experienced men provide critiques and feedback is important.

Context: still in college, major party night for all the clubs purely by coincidence. I've got multiple options. In retrospect, I think it was bad for me to try and play the field by attending each for a bit, making a few cold approaches, and then moving on if there was no response. I should have committed to one venue. As it is college, these are generally social circle, so while I don't know them, I am quickly able to build rapport based on classes, clubs, people we know in common, etc.

1st approach:
blond 6.5, the actual definition of "curvy" (ie not what girls on okc mean)

She's sitting at a couch, with an open space beside her. I sit down slowly with my drink, look over, and hit her with a "let me guess" opener. Amazingly, I get her major right (made even more incredible because it was a very rare one, I did it more as a joke but whatever), and she gets really excited, asking me how I knew.

Recalling Roosh's thread on meta conversation, I say it's because of the vibe she's giving off; she just must be that kind of girl. Banter on about how she is of German descent but can't speak any, I'm playfully smacking her on the thigh and joking with her about that. A popular song comes on (which I personally like) so I stand up and motion for her to follow and dance, trying a compliance test. Doesn't bite, so I move on. In hindsight, this is probably the one I had the best shot at closing. Any advice on how to accept that with grace would be welcome. I was trying to focus on the spontaneous, "it just happened", and sweeping her up aspects.

2nd approach:
blond 7, very slight lisp

I move on to a different venue because the ratio at the first one is not optimal. It is at least a 2.5:1. I go to an outdoor keg race, make my way on to the deck overlooking the backyard. See a friend's LTR, catch up and make small talk with her, and she then introduces her roommate. 2nd question area: I went comfort building by learning about how many people we knew in common, we lived on different floors of the same freshman dorm, etc. Should I have taken the comfort and familiarity as a given in this situation and hit attraction harder?

We get solid banter in, I need some help on conversation and topics, links to good threads would be helpful. I am working on no longer being intimidated by pauses, and using them to process what was just said and not asking a shitty follow up, but instead digging deeper. Before I can do anything, she gets called from below by a friend and scurries off.

3rd approach:
Asian American 6, sort of alt and wearing a baseball cap backwards... good sign I know.

Hot off the previous set, I run into a good friend, catch up with him real quick, turn around, see this girl, and figure why not. I use the excuse of her bumping me trying to get by because it's packed. Unfortunately, very bitchy towards me (I'm also AA), like some other Asian-American girls I've approached. To his credit, my friend unintentionally wings me to the best of his ability, basically giving me huge credit for making a major turnaround at X club. I laugh it off, and try to be pretty humble about it.

I open about her major to dive in, brushes that off and says she's transferring (found out she's a freshman). I bounce off of that and joke about how some of the people here can be a bit annoying at times. Was this buying into her negativity frame? She turns away and starts talking to a friend. Next!

4th approach:

This is one where my inexperience showed badly. I return to the original venue, finding nothing at the second one. She's standing in a hallway, talking to a guy friend who is absurdly drunk. He stumbles off and I take the opportunity to open. Build comfort based off that shared acquaintance, find out she's Brazilian. Drop that I've visited Belo Horizonte, she asks why the fuck I visited that place. Drop some tangentially redpill stuff about wanting to experience the true nature of a country wherever I visit, because the capital and big cities are too Westernized.

I start stumbling here and doing the dreaded "interview" because I'm so distracted. I need to separate myself from the beauty better, something I know will come from practice. I at the very least have gotten much more confident with kino and escalation in the right manner. At this point I have my arm around her waist and have pulled her close, talking close to her ear so she can hear because it's loud. Seems salvageable.

Second problem: her drunk friend literally careens straight into me and inadvertently AMOGs me, ruffling my hair and stealing her away while stumbling around. Her roommate comes in at that time and decides it time for them to leave. Fucking hell. I've sent a friend request and will hail mary a "hey, sorry our mutual friend was crashing around, would love to continue our conversation" text if she accepts later. Any better ideas for how to approach this hail mary?

5th approach:

The party is starting to wind down now. People are making their way out. I see this girl frantically scrolling through her phone. Turns out she doesn't even go here. She goes to a nearby school and is trying to figure out how to get back. Introduce myself, find out what school she's from, try to build comfort by naming a couple people I know who go there, big surprise she doesn't know any of them.

In the meantime I've got big competition. Turns out she brought a guy friend with her, and the person who invited her to this party is also a guy. They both circle in on either side of her and make my job a lot harder. Luckily they were both pretty drunk, one went to the bathroom, the other somewhere else. Build more comfort on shared interests, try to help her out with figuring out how to get home (aka walk with me to my place which is on the way).

Those two guys return, the one who goes to my school fixes me with a glare and pointedly tells me "Don't worry swuglyfe, I can take care of this." I say "Good, good," then proceed to continue helping her. Here, I at least asked what her name was and added her on FB in front of her. Number close was highly unlikely in such conditions.

Final approach:
brunette 6, eyes disproportionately big

The party is practically over now. Just a handful of people left, room largely empty. Music is still going which provides me an excuse to get closer with my hand on the small of her back. The problem with this set is... the IRT. He was in the set and cockblocking me like a motherfucker, interjecting left and right about his fucking internship in Hong Kong or whatever. Cool story, bro.

Meanwhile, I'm trying my best here, I actually correctly guess after 3 tries what small city she's from (she told me the state). She's suitably impressed by that, I tell her I'd like to move to a rival city, get some push pull from that. From what I can tell, she is at least a little bit attracted to IRT, at least enough to touch and playfully shove him. He is lingering in touching distance the whole time. Same as before, FB friend, will attempt a follow up in a few days' time.

Some takeaways from what is probably my most prolific series of approaches since taking the red pill:

I am over pedestalizing in the abstract and oneitis sense. Not in the physical, fuck there is a hot ass girl I'm interacting with sense.

I am great at building comfort through shared interests and banter, need to work a lot harder on building attraction.

Much more confident with kino and escalation, but need it to be paired with verbal escalation to be effective. A lot of it because I've hit the gym every day for the past month and have completely changed my wardrobe to stop dressing like a chode.

Good openers and the hardest part is initiating so you're off to a great start. In some of these you are coming off a little friendly vs flirtatious banter. Try more nagging and always go for the number vs facebook close.
As far as the Asian girls go, try more asshole game with them. Works for me. Example:
" says she's transferring " my response: "What happen you couldn't cut it here?" (don't forget to smile). They just have preconceived notions about you based on media. Shatter it and game accordingly. Never ever play into their frame.

Now some approaches of my own, critiques welcomed:

Gio recommended at least 3 approaches a day. I’ve been trying to do some indirects and some directs. I honestly have not found a happy medium yet. If you see a Cobra out there hunting don't cock block him.

So .. this happens to be my 1000th post. It’s momentous in that it turns my status to “Alpha Male.” Approach wise, I still feel like I’m only getting there. Yet I will post a fairly alpha approach to commemorate this change.

First approach at the gym today. Shoutout to Sketness and everyone else who rocks the gym game for the tips. First a little background. There was this 7.5 blonde, about 5'10 and a great body, phenomenal ass. I tease her that she's "Baiana" (which is slang for where in Brazil she's from) not Brazilian and she laughs and we talk for a minute. Fizzles out and I go back to my workout. About a minute later, the blonde chick plops down right next to me and starts stretching. This isn't like a butterfly stretch or anything but really getting into it sticking her ass in the air and bending over. I finish up and stretch real quick. Figure that I'm gonna approach but she makes it easy leaving the weightroom to get water. I leave like 20 seconds after and ask her if there's another waterfountain (stupid that's all I could think of haha). She immediately launches into the convo but thinks I'm talking about wifi, wtf? We eventually figure out what each other is trying to say, then I go is my accent really that bad? (dropping the bait that im not from here) She's like ya I don't know it's heard to tell, you're from America right? I say ya I'm from Chicago. I ask her if she knows where it is, most Scottish broads don't, and she says yes of course. We chat about where she's from, what year in school she is. She's flicking her hair and crossing her legs, always good signs. I tell her it was nice talking to you but I'm going to run on the treadmill but we should grab a drink sometime. She enthusiastically agrees. I hand her my phone and say put your number in, she complies. Tell her I'll text her my name so she has my number too. Say goodbye and that was that.

Got a great workout and solid lead, we'll see what happens. Thanks again to all the people who post their approaches here, it's great stuff to pull from.

Shopping at Target today and there was some talent. I'm walking down a main aisle in the store pushing my empty cart and spot a tall, slender college aged brunette in a light green gingham spring dress walking toward me. She's pushing her cart too. She's 22ish and a 7.5. We have eye contact from a ways off. As the distance closes she looks again, smiles big and offers a very cheerful "hey". I return the favor. I made a new years resolution that I will let no more "gifts" pass me up and so far, I'm doing a good job.

As we get even and I'm about to pass her, I open:
Me. excuse me, do you know where the luggage section is?
Her. Uhh...yes, I think it's it's that way past the blah blah....(she was being helpful and somewhat animated in her gestures)
Me. okay, you sound like you know your way around here.
Her. yes, I've been here a few times.
Me. oh great, I have too, I'm just not good in big box stores.
Her. Ha.
Me. well, thanks...by the way, I know this sounds kind of random, and I wanted to know about the luggage, but I also just wanted to talk because I thought you looked nice today.
her. Oh thank you.
Me. my name's robreke ( extending hand)
Her. I'm Meg...nice to meet you.
Me. you too...I'm a little nervous doing this. I usually don't do this ( credit GLL )
Her. oh...you shouldn't be.
Me. so what are you up to today Meg?
Her...mumbles something...looks a little confused.
Me. Looks like I threw off your train of thought (smirk)
Her. yes, you kind of did (smiles)
we banter about she's on spring break now and I talk about how I'm going on a trip tomorrow...she's on spring break and goes to college in a neighboring state, but this is her hometown. A few questions back and forth)
Me. well, it's too bad you're leaving back for school when I'll be getting back from Texas.
Her..yeah.
Me. Can I text you sometime. We'll grab a coffee or drink when you're in town.
Her. Yes.
Give her my phone, got the number. Texted her a little later and she texted back nice to meet me. I'll stay on her with periodic texts every 3 weeks or so to see if I can get her when she's back in town.

Saw a cute tall black girl with dancer looking legs in short dress looking at posterboards about 10 minutes later in another section of store. She's struggling getting a piece out that's stuck. I'm standing there and say.
Me. Need some help?
Her. Yes.
I dislodge the piece for her and give it to her.
Me. Oh....Is this good posterboard?
Her. I just need any kind.
Me. Gotcha, I'm getting some for my niece she has a project.
Her. I've got a project for college.
She gives a vague evasive smile and kind of wanders to another part of the aisle. Also, some fat middle aged woman looks down the aisle and is eavesdropping on our conversation.
Me. Nice, which college you go to.
Her. Tells me.
She's slowly browsing and drifting away and I let her go.

Well, one college girl's number out of two ain't a bad days work for a dude in his 40s. Now if I could just do that everyday!

It was a beautiful day out today. A few good looking girls, and some solid opportunities for more bold daygame approaches. Unfortunately, I pussied out.

On the dancefloors I'm solid, at bars I'm ok (although I haven't done nightgame in a long time), but I make a big deal out of cold approaches in a daygame context. With some indication of interest, I've made some approaches outside. At the coffee shops, I'll sit next to cute girls and open them, but that confident stride towards an unknown is difficult to jump into. And, I hesitated.

There can be a lot more high quality talent outdoors here than on the dancefloor, but where I'm at there are a lot of near dimepieces with big diamond wedding bands. Not a lot of single girls about, except some borderlines that could be underage. The one broad I hesited on, and kicked myself over the most, had the air of a trophy wife and I couldn't see her left hand in the distance. I dwelled on that thought instead of making a move, and bam opportunity over.

I've got to psyche myself up more.

I was out at whole foods the other day. Im grabbing some yogurt and some protein shakes when I see this blond 8 looking at different teas

Earlier this week I read McQueen's article and I decided not to hesitate.

I go right up to her and open.

Me; hey witch one of these tea's are any good

Her; I like this one ( points to a certain tea)

Me; yea im trying to get off of coffee is there a lot of caffeine in this tea?

Her; there is a little bit

Her; (moving away ) good luck

It was a rough approach

I am focusing on making each approach as natural as possible. At times I'll get discouraged and think why am i doing this ? meeting a pretty girl should not be this hard.

But then I think, every time I feel this way, in reality im very close to a break through. I just have to keep going

There seems to be a problem with the link but I was able to google the article and it's really good. Great job on approaching anyway. I'm excited, in two weeks I'll be moving to an apartment that's walking distance to a whole foods. I'll be making frequent trips there
