Awesome thread. It's a fun thought exercise. My additions.

The JJ Luna book 'How to be invisible' is full of good information on this type of stuff.

He talks about different 'levels' of preparedness (and therefore inconvenience) one can take commensurate with the level of risk you feel you are at (1 to 5 from memory).

Ideally, you'd pick a few simple things that are not very inconvenient to do beforehand, such as keeping some cash in a fake stash can around the house ready to go (you need to have savings anyway, right?). That would stop all the stress around getting cash out and so forth last minute.

I'd have a pre-prepared USB stick or burnt DVDR with an encrypted / bootable version of Tails. This operating system is amnesic (in that once you power down it forgets everything, no temp files, no trace). It also has MAC address spoofing etc built in. Use this to surf the net - just find an internet cafe or library where you can change the BIOS to boot off USB / CD (most are set to boot off CD anyway).

Both of those things are easy to do right now and not a hassle.

After laying low for a while, you could potentially buy a cheap workman looking van with no side windows (Toyota Hi ace or similar) off Gumtree/Craigslist for cash and use that to get around in and sleep in, although ultimately you'd want to go start a new life in a more basic country.

A high level king pin in Australia (Tony Mokbel) drove from one side of Australia to the other (almost the same size as the US mainland). He had someone drive him while he played a retarted mute in the back seat. The then commissioned a yacht and sailed to Greece in it, where he lived in disguise (wig) for a while, and eventually was busted sitting in a cafe. So yeah, Australia to Greece is possible in a small yacht (although how much financing went behind this).

In the meantime you could read up on some true crime stories of people who have done it such as Shantaram. He was an Aussie heroin addict who was busted doing armed robberies and escaped from one of Australia's more serious prisons to go live in slums in India. He was robbed in India and had to 'start over' again with no ID or money. He ended up living in the slums there, selling weed to tourists and getting involved in Indian organised crime. It's a great read.

I think that people have lost sight of Roosh's original question:

How do you get out of the country?

There is an easy answer. Find a way to cross into Mexico. Mexico still extends asylum to criminals accused of a capital crime that might result in the death penalty in the United States. Mexico itself does not have the death penalty.

It is about time that murderers from the U.S. began entering Mexico, rather than vice versa. Let Mexico start taking our criminals!

These things are all good to do, even if you're not being chased by the police.

This guy was super outgoing and famous on the AT. He got caught because a guy he met on the trail saw his American Greed episode, recognized him, and called the FBI.

Good strategy though. I'd do something like that even if I wasn't on the run. Curious what he did in the winter and how he withdrew money. Probably wandered around Georgia or something.

I'd avoid sex with girls while on the run... at least for the first few years. Let the heat die down a bit and the beard grow out.

I like these threads. LOL'ed pretty hard at the suggestion of doing gay-for-pay. I think there are 2 phases to escaping:

1. Get out of the jursidiction of the law.

I think we've covered all the points. Cross the border into another country whatever way you can without setting off alarms. Ideally you have a 2nd passport with a different name (I actually have this). I would cross the border to Canada then fly out to my home country using my 2nd passport with a different name (with facial recognition being used more this might come to an end soon).

2. Making a living abroad.

If you don't have a marketable skill this is where I see most people falling apart. If you were a doctor or lawyer in your previous life, you aren't one anymore. You have to start your career from scratch and this is extremely painful. You swallow your pride and take a job slinging coffee or working at McDonald's. Whatever it takes. You have a canned story of why you moved away from North America that doesn't arouse suspicion.

Ideally you've made enough of a nest egg for yourself already and stashed it into privacy cryptocurrency like Monero(XMR) and sold it for cash. Hopefully it's enough to sustain you for several years.

I have met men before who were fleeing arrest warrants from America. Mexico is the first place they come too. However, this is getting a little harder because Mexico does now have border controls demanding documents to enter Mexico. Also, the Mexican authorities cooperate closely with the American police and regularly arrest these guys and send them back to America. That is probably why Trump has backed off of Mexico. Because somebody told him that Mexico actually does a lot of work capturing American criminals and also they do a lot of work intercepting drugs. The drug problem would be 100 times worse if Mexico didn't cooperate.
