Guys who run game say, "Facebook is the next MySpace! We're in a bubble! America is doomed!"
Fear and jealously motivate game denalists.
Don't let those same forces motivate you.
Instead of saying, "Facebook is the next MySpace," find a way to cash in.
Uh yeah, just jump on the bandwagon. Facebook is priced 120x actual earnings, but it's all good! Just jump in so you don't sound like a hater.

It's too late to jump on the bandwagon.
If you had taken a job at Facebook in 2009, you'd be a multi-millionaire.
Hating and being critical of businesses isn't going to make you rich.
But getting a job at one of these "bubbles" would have.
Think bigger.

All these years, she's been working towards a REAL career. A serious one, that takes years of intense study, and that study doesn't stop once you get a job.
It's definitely an accomplishment, graduating from medical school, UCSF no less. But it's like some investment banker said about why he dates kindergarten teachers. It'd be such a mindfuck logistically and emotionally to date someone else who is pressed for time and stressed by a high powered career - why would I want to date a woman in that position? A man needs a woman who is emotionally available at least as much as women do.
That said, if I had to choose a wife from a certain profession, I'd choose a pediatrician. Intelligent, feminine, likes kids, isn't after big money or prestige.
Good points all, but we've pretty much established that Zuck isn't like most guys. We've also discussed at length how marriages are doomed to failure when the woman has a demanding career. His career is, and has been demanding from the moment he started this. Her studies have been all-encompassing. But they're still together. I wonder how much time they've spent together in the time they've known each other while he worked and she went to school. For most couples that would have spelled doom long ago, and would have chalked it up to bad timing in their lives. I think you might have two unique individuals that are simply right for each other, and can deal with the time apart and different career pursuits. Of course, we'll see what happens when a kid or two comes into the mix.

I wouldn't....But I get a lot of pleasure out of life that is totally unrelated to sex. Oftentimes sex got in the way of those other pleasures.
Needing to pursue women is a form of slavery. We become a slave to a desire.
I used to skip a workout to meet a chick. I'd lose focus at work because of a chick I was digging. Dating seemed random.
I learned game not so much to get more sex, but to control my access to sex. Game switched the power to me.
With game, I'm not caught in a storm where I can't get the women I want. I have more focus because when I want to meet women, it's no thing. Thus, there is a freedom to have other pursuits.
So I totally get Zuckerberg's choice.
Again, it's not my choice. I love women and the game far too much.
But I can understand why a guy might not want in the game.
Well, isn't the formalization of game a reaction to the feminism? I can understand why a lot of guys would not want to be in the game. I don't want to be in it. I hate getting rejected, even though I know that's part of the game (I've reframed rejection as girls rejected my bad game vs. rejecting 'me'). I hate the fact that I spend an enormous proportion of my time working on my game, when I could be practicing guitar or doing other things. But, I put a ton of effort into game because I see no other option that is as effective or efficient.
At first, I thought game would actually free up a lot of my energy. I'm still hoping this will come about in the future.
Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy the thrill of the chase, but ideally, there wouldn't be any "game" to play.

If I were in the guy's shoes, yeah I'd do things differently. But, I can't say my way is right and everyone else's is wrong. As cliche, corny, and "beta" as it will sound to most of you, maybe Zuck truly has connected with her on a deeper level, loves her, and isn't as concerned or motivated by female attractiveness. Different strokes for different folks.
Also, basil is right, this chick was with Zuck from the GET, any chicks who come after him now, you can never know their intentions. This Asian chick, probably would stick with him, even if some how he lost it all, and ended up working as a busboy in 10 years (which is prob impossible), but anyways, sometimes you can't quantify or qualify shit like that. There is no formula or equation for happiness, 100 notches + anal sex from a 10 = enlightenment, happiness, and fulfillment.
The most ironic and humorous thing would be if Zuckerburg is happier and more fulfilled than Roosh with his 5 wife, then Roosh with his 1000 notches, and flings with HB 8-9 women.
This is an interesting point that brings up some big picture issues that are a bit beyond this thread. However, I tend to think that some guy who is workaholic with a mediocre, boring wife suddenly starting not being so career focused and smashing some higher quality pussy on a regular basis, he'd feel like he was wasting his time working so much and not enjoying life more. I think something like this strikes too close to our instincts to be up for much debate. The guy might think he's happier with his marriage and working long hours, but he's probably just complacent. Happiness is more about what's wired into our brains than obligations to career or a marriage.
I know the years that I spent studying or working my ass off weren't the most enjoyable. They were a means to an end. If you already have billions in the bank, why put yourself through that shit? It gets to a point where it's dysfunctional.

I also think there are people that are completely fulfilled by what they do for a living. It's almost as if it isn't work at all - it's who they are. This guy is a techie to his heart. He seems to me the kind of cat that can't wait to get to the office, and is thinking about "work" shit 24/7, and it makes his dick hard. He gets a charge out of what he does. When he closes his eyes, he probably sees Matrix-like code...HA HA!

Well, isn't the formalization of game a reaction to the feminism?
For one, game has always existed (cf. Ovid), but it wasn't codified, published and shared. More importantly, civilized society would keep a tighter lid on pussy, making it harder to get laid. For the most part, if the way you got laid was by getting married, the return on learning game is small. It's smaller still with an arranged marriage.
Nowadays, when charisma and social status are among the most important factors for getting laid, premarital sex is abundant, and women don't need to pair up with their equal - they can fuck men out of their league - the return on learning game, or creating some niche that gets you laid, is way more rewarding than 100 years ago. If on the other hand, you got married early, and your arranged wife was sweet, loyal and shapely, and adultery was difficult to consummate, the return on learning game is small.
