Have you made an effort to go out and chase pussy? I for one can not go a week without making at least a handful of approaches at night and distributing my sexual energy.

That's a definite no. All of my flirting is done at work, with both colleagues and customers. I ended up giving my number to a customer around day 170, which led to a non-physical relationship (just ended). I got interest from a girl earlier in my streak, but she turned out to be a flake.

As for chasing pussy outside of work;

I'm not a fan of the club scene, and the average "talent" in said scene isn't exactly up to par. So drunk, easy 4/10 girls are out of the window.

I haven't tried day-game yet, but I always tell myself I don't have the skill-set for it.

All of my spare time/energy is spent on extra curricular pursuits in the form of personal development instead.

I think it's good you stopped the gaming for now. At the very least until you get this side of your life running the way you want it to.

You have to want it, badly. You have to go out consistently and use that built up desire to make you approach. Nofap will not get you laid; going out with motivation to will.

I suggest going out at least 3 nights a week. Pick a night during the regular week that has potential for you, for me that is Wednesdays. Go out Friday and Saturday, and during those nights, be heavily direct.

Many people are against direct game like this. Girls are used to getting hit on, so why be another one of those guys? It's all in the delivery. I have a couple buddies who can pull regularly, and their game is aggressive and direct. They softly grab and pull in girls that walk by them, with a smile. They see a girl they want, they intrude in on their group and pull them towards them. What you say doesn't matter, it's how you say it. Their eye contact is extreme, dominant, and sexual. If you are thinking about isolation, cockblocking etc, that should not matter. The goal here is to get her so in the moment with you she tells her friends to leave her alone for a minute. Or you grab her and pull her in and yell to her friends 'she is mine! You can't cockblock this blossoming romance.'

This is something I've seen my buddies do to pull. I say 1/5 girls they 'pull in' they can get some serious attraction going. From there it is just about working out logistics, which is the harder part. Basically, get her so aroused with you she won't give a shit about her friends at that moment.

This game takes a lot to pull off though, it's all in body language and delivery. I'm still working on making it a part of my techniques.

I think the biggest difference it makes in your energy an desire to go out is in the earlier stages when you stop, like the frist few weeks or month. Ive abstained myself several times but think 6 days is honestly the longest Ive gone. Most people seem to see the biggest changes 1-2 weeks in.

Im sick of getting IOIs out of the walls and just not being motivated enough. After going 4-5 days, I see the results above. Almost third week here, benefits have been amazing. Confidence has skyrocketed, and I'm way more unreactive around girls. I just move through the world like it belongs to me. Pornographic Picture Processing Interferes with Working Memory Performance

One mechanism potentially leading to these kinds of problems is that sexual arousal during Internet sex might interfere with working memory (WM) capacity, resulting in a neglect of relevant environmental information and therefore disadvantageous decision making. In this study, 28 healthy individuals performed 4 experimental manipulations of a pictorial 4-back WM task with neutral, negative, positive, or pornographic stimuli. Participants also rated 100 pornographic pictures with respect to sexual arousal and indicated masturbation urges previous to and following pornographic picture presentation. Results revealed worse WM performance in the pornographic picture condition of the 4-back task compared with the three remaining picture conditions. Furthermore, hierarchical regression analysis indicated an explanation of variance of the sensitivity in the pornographic picture condition by the subjective rating of the pornographic pictures as well as by a moderation effect of masturbation urges. Results contribute to the view that indicators of sexual arousal due to pornographic picture processing interfere with WM performance. Findings are discussed with respect to Internet sex addiction because WM interference by addiction-related cues is well known from substance dependencies.

Update here. I am more or less done with 'nofap'. Didn't really see the benefit of continuing, after 83 days. I was never really addicted to begin with and that is what the whole 'nofap' practice is intended to fix.

As long as you keep fapping to a minimum, say 1-2x a week max, you are good. Also, no porn, that is what I believe is detrimental.

In moderation, masturbation will allow you to still sap into your sexual nature without being counter-intuitive. Too much and you will release too much of that energy and lose drive to bang and meet new women.

During this run I banged 3 new women, and that is not because of going on a long streak. It's because whenever I had the thought of fapping, say on a Tuesday, I'd tell myself to reconsider it after I went out on Wednesday through Saturday. And normally the times I did pull off 3-4 nights a week, I did very well either by getting a ONS or several makeouts and prospects. Makeouts on their own I find are good because they allow you to release some of that sexual energy by sharing it with another woman. The more attractive she is, the stronger that release. Although the strongest and most powerful release is during sex, of course.

To sum up what I have learned:
- Nofap isn't that big of a deal. A lot of affects you hear about (energy, confidence etc) might just be placebo, unless you are a chronic fapper and you suddenly stop (not my case, so can't attest). I think when a lot of people say they are more social, giving more eye contact and such on nofap, are under a confirmation bias of some sort. They force themselves to be more social subconsciously so they can confirm that nofap is working. Social psychology states we want to be consistent, and obviously not put in work for nothing; we want things to work. You say girls are checking you out more and giving you more eye contact? Maybe its because you have chosen to look at girls more and you have started to notice what they have been doing all along.
- Nofap on its own won't end dry spells, instead will increase your motivation to go out there and pull. More motivation=more effort=higher chances=more results
- Porn is what should be cut down. Accept you have a sexual nature and fap in moderation, and you are set.

That concludes my nofap experiment. Might try again in the future. Would be great to hear some other experiences.
