The other major theory for monogamy, polyandry, and polygamy is population control at the society level.

If you're out on the frontier with abundant resources like the Mormons were, keeping every woman pregnant all the time to quickly expand population is a smart choice. If you're an Eskimo or Australian Aborigine tribe living off of a limited and declining food supply, having multiple men have sex with only one woman to sharply contain population expansion is the only way to survive in that environment. (And given a woman's body will also reject pregnancy if there aren't enough calories to support it given to her, in a resource poor area it may take both her own efforts and that of additional multiple men to gather that much extra food.)

Under the population control theory, Monogamy is the "in between" state of population stasis, neither growing nor declining.

But if you're a cynical asshole like Thomas Malthus , you'll note that even with monogamy women become more fecund during good crop seasons causing baby waves, with this excess population eliminated through crime and war when resources become limited again.

Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing. Usually I feel that 1 month is equal to about 8 months in bang time. I factor this based on the average amount of UNIQUE women I fuck per month which comes out to about 7 (I don't really count anymore to be honest, just guessing) - take that with the amount of unique women the average joe or Zoom fucks per month 1 (??)...
