There's plenty of girls I've texted in the past that will always be receptive when I initiate, meaning they'll respond when I hit them up but it's never the other way around. They're never the ones who attempt to make contact.

To me, this signifies two things:
1) They're not really interested but are just being cordial by responding
2) They really only enjoy the attention

If this were to happen on and on again, would the best move be just to stop contacting them? To me, as a man, you have to be the one doing the "hunting". But at what point do you stop pursuing? Like I stated earlier, these girls are willing to take the time to respond but it's actually a lot more difficult to get them to come out.

I remember one instance where I was texting this one cute girl from class and she would always send a text back and be friendly, but whenever I invited her out to have a drink, she wouldn't even respond. If this were the case, should I just continue to build rapport through texting and keep initiating? I realize the best way to do it isn't over the phone, but we all know females these days are making it harder on men to step in the door.

SUPER common thing in the text messaging era. Chicks will text anyone for no other reason than they're bored and want attention. She could be going after some dude who is running tight texting game and who went silent on her, then respond and text with you a little bit to build her ego back up.

A lot of guys here come from the phone call era and we know how much an investment that was. Because texting is so low investment there's really no reason for her not reach out to you at some point and show interest. Don't give them the benefit of the doubt and think "oh she must just be shy or intimidated, I probably just need to pursue a little harder". Thats a good way to never get any bangs from texting.

IMO the only thing you can communicate to a chick over text before you've banged her is that you're not needy and desperate. The way you do that is by playing it cool and pacing your replies. Don't fall for quick replies on her part either and start replying just as quickly, think of that as another shit test.

Search for Roosh's texting guide as he breaks down specifics. At first you'll be like "Really?, never send her two texts in a row??" and it will all seem a little childish but it is what it is, you've got to remember who you're dealing with. Theres really two things to remember, keep it logistical and play it cool.

Good post Vaquero, I'm getting this a lot online. I'll message a girl on OKC she replies quickly a few times and then as soon as I make it anything but chit-chat ie. say we should go out sometime they bolt, or sometimes they'll ask a simple question like "where are you from" I answer and they are never to be heard of again.
