I experienced this first hand, with this girl, after she cancelled plans with me last minute. And she was being basically flaky for a while. That left me upset, to be honest, and to the point of feeling disrespected and suspecting what she was up to. Basically, I had first signs of attachment, and the disappointment crept in.

This served as an important reminder for me: do get attached to girls that you're casually seeing/banging. No matter how good the sex is. No matter how seductive she is. No matter how much she whispers lightly into your ear "fuck me harder, make me your dirty little slut"
