When you start out in life, you have to have your hand out. 18, no education or skill, pimply faced. In that stage it is important to go forth and make shit happen, but at some point you won't have to if you do it right. I posted this thread cause I don't see mentioned. I'm not telling you what to do, just bringing up life experience. I still approach sometimes, but to real satisfaction is sitting on my ass and letting hot girls come to me. And then go buy me a drink, then drive my drunk ass to her place. Why would I have to walk up to ask a girl to do that? It should be her place to do so, and she needs to ask me to do it.

I'm not very good looking, but compensate with hair/style/social proofing/attitude. What I'm doing is no different than a homely girl caking on makeup and wearing a miniskirt to turn heads.
