I told you it's easy here. The problem is that place was run into the ground buy the last 5 previous owners here more than likely. either way some decent grub would turn it around quick. Seriously I have family that are sitting on empty restaurants all over this county. If you come here and you're not a total shithead they may comp you or anyone a few months to gamble on having a steady renter. Roll the dice!

Also the bars here that have kitchens that don't use them will hand you the keys and take a percentage of food sales only. I know about 10 of them empty now.

G, The problem here is every retard that moves down from the mid-west tries to open a restaurant but they never make good food. This guy opened one and spent 1+ mil on it down the road and hired some chef that killed it in two months. Make good food!!!Kinda like that chef Ramsey show.

This county(Pinellas) got 5 mil visitors last year. More per capita than any other county in the US.

Assume you get 500 people at $25 bucks a head on a simple menu 2 cooks and 2 bartenders could handle? Im talking dollar dollar bill here son!

Right, but my point is that you can't just buy your insurance. permits, etc. a year after you've been in business, you need most of that money up front.

And when you have many "owners", the ones who aren't getting their way may not be interested in putting more money into the operation as additional/unexpected expenses pop up.

not saying it can't be done, but this sounds like a ton of work and risk when you could just get a job as a bartender for the same basic result.

This place sounds like the kind of place that will get everyone there for the free drinks early to pregame, then hit the road to go places for the real fun later. And when a group of 15-20 frat brothers all show up with that intent and start killing the supply, what then?

Can you even throw a pregame party on $40, much less run a bar for an entire day and night?

If you can pull it off more power to you, and I wish you luck in doing so. It seems way easier to just become a bartender in an existing bar though.

I talked to a lot of people in Clearwater. It was the same story over and over. "Do everything full circle, and you'll succeed here." What happens down there is folks move to the area to make money. They get caught up in the lifestyle, drugs, ect. and go to shit. They stop finishing jobs they promise to people.

So, if you go there and keep some initiative, you'll do well. Yankees do particularly well, having had to survive the rat race in the N.E. Corridor. And the natives? Forget it. They offer no competition.
