I'll try to keep this short. Wednesday in Miami, I open this solid 7, an Italian. She's drunk, giving me every IOI, and I'm basically doing no work. I isolate and take her to the dance floor, let her grind on me, and after about 2 minutes she yells "you're sexy" and makes out with me.

I take her outside to close/figure out logistics when her "sister" comes out of the bar and attempts the cockblock. I diffuse and she leaves by saying "I know what you look like, so you better not try anything". Yeah OK. I attempt to heat the fire again, and she's getting colder by the second. I go in for the kiss and she pulls away. In frustration I blurt out "you suck", and she proceeds on a shit test rant: "You're so cocky" blah blah blah... and storms away from the bar by herself down the street.

I sit there for a minute watching her walk away, contemplating my choices. I can either A) go back inside, get another drink, rinse repeat on another chick. or B) go after her.

I swallow my pride, and go with B) the Beta choice. I pull her hand, turn her around, give her a little spin(shout out for the spin move post), and she is still in full bitch-mode face. I say "look, this is bullshit, I like you, lets not let one sentence ruin the night". The look in her eye almost got me hard. She makes out with me and I ended up getting the SNL.

Some of you guys get too wrapped up in this alpha/beta bullshit. Who gives a fuck? You made out with, and banged a hot chick the night you met her. You went after something you wanted. You scored, man.

If that's beta, then I'm beta. The end justifies the means, in this situation.

The bar is in Brickell which is all I'll say. I got her outside using the let's get a smoke routine. So we're sitting at one of the tables outside when this happens. The place is packed inside and out with a line of anxious guidos trying to get in, so people are witnessing this unfold. I have a hard time rationalizing literally "running after a girl" in any way, shape or form. I guess it payed off in this situation, but maybe I just need to tone down the arrogance.

Fair enough, from the beginning. I rolled solo, suited down with pocket square to Baru in Brickell because this Colombian chick (8) I met on South Beach was working and asked me to come by. After she buys me a few aguardientes, she gets busy and I approach the first set. She says something about having a kid and I bail. I open this peruvian 7 and number close. Didn't get the vibe she was down. Then I open the italian chick when this happened.

I think it would have been beta if she disrespected you. She called you cocky, basically a compliment in the US, and yea maybe you overgamed her by a tad though who´s to say you did since you got the lay. I know its not good to be results oriented but it doesn´t look like being cocky is hurting you, especially since you have the sense to beta it up and get a girl back that you´ve pushed too far. I wouldn´t change it unless its something you really aren´t liking about yourself.

I would normally never run after a chick that blew something like that out of proportion, but I just had the gut feeling had I not, i would not have closed. Normally not packed on wednesdays, good to go on thursdays and fridays though. One part of the bar is open toward the street, and another has tables so you can scope out the talent and see where they go.

OP: you knew what you wanted, you said "damned be the difficulty or consequences", and you did what you had to do to get it. That's classic alpha behavior. Simply using the same some of the tactics as a beta does not make you a beta.
