RE: Age Difference Acceptance by Country
I have found that really extreme age differences can get annoying pretty quickly. I'm 54, and over the last few years I have dated 2 19-year-olds, 2 20-year-olds, and a few girls in their 20s. Mostly in the USA but some in SE Asia, where I had some business dealings, as well. All perfectly good for short vacations and stuff, but to really dig in for the long term I have found it's almost impossible to put up with some of that silly stuff. Currently seeing a 33 year old filipina. She's 5'-2", 88 lbs., has super long hair and a heart of gold. Tried a couple of young black girls and they were pretty but something culturally just off. White or Asian girls are the way to go. But if you prefer thin girls who rarely need makeup to look absolutely killer, I would say Asian is ideal. Plus they are very well schooled in the art of totally spoiling you, which is really good for your brain. And they are the most loyal girls I have ever met in my life.

RE: Age Difference Acceptance by Country
I dont think people really care about the mathematical difference between birthdates that much.

What they probably care about:

-Physical decline - low physical/mental energy, weakness, mental sluggishness, accumulated health issues
-Cultural gaps e.g. if you are out of touch - social, digital, and no younger friends
-Psychological calcification e.g. getting stuck in your ruts, old habits, becoming cynical
-Outward signs of aging e.g. wrinkles, sagging skin, fat

All these are impacted by your decisions and actions, much of it can be mitigated by how you live your life.

IMO that's what counts more than the mathematical quantity of (your birthday - hers)

I’ve still managed to land 23-26 in Canada at 35 but not when they find out my real age LOL! Was hitting it off with a 24yr old uni graduate on Friday until she asked my age, should have lied, but a co-worker was there.

Too much effort these days anyways without the 19yr old libido constantly pushing you to go get it and all the self-righteous feminists. Rather travel, which I enjoy anyways and reap the fruits of my labour in countries where wide age gaps don’t matter. Win-win situation.

You missed probably the most important female concern: social/peer pressure. The main reason big age gaps work in some countries but not others is probably social norms. Even if the 18-21 year old is physically attracted to the 30-35 year old (or any guy who isn't too badly aged), it will often stall out if her friends and/or family are heckling her, which is far more likely to happen in Western countries. In more economically impoverished or less egalitarian places big age gaps have been so standard and practical since forever, so they don't raise eyebrows.

Many times this has happened. Friends don't understand. Plus hanging out with her friends and their younger boyfriends and you are the older guy. In Western countries, it is not as accepted.

No matter how great things may be these friends and social pressures can get in the way.

You may think everything is fine no problems but these pressures may eventually be the downfall. No matter how in shape or positive or dress well and alpha personality.

Plus you never hear a guy on here say he looks older than he is. Many think they look 10 to 15 years younger. I'd say you the truth is you may look 5 years younger but otherwise women and their friends know how old you are.

This is the hard truth. At least in the western world.

The social pressure from friends and family can be pretty bad in the West compared to other parts of the world.

I'm 48 and the last time I had a few girls that were much younger like 22-25 they refused to hold hands in public.

Yes, I asked this question in another thread or two. I'm also inclined to believe the best explanation is by far, at this point, the one by jcardial. I must say that I don't understand the "why" of it when dealing with a man who is secure and fit, clearly doesn't look his age, whatever that means. The number as scary is voodoo. If they trust you, they trust you. Why would you want your kin or or friend to marry someone who barely has his shit together? My explanation favors jealousy generally speaking (guys and girls) over a creepiness factor which is unsubstantiated (when there is no reason to think that except for the number).

Get your passport ready!

Of course. Question is why would you try? They're not your fiancee. Take them home and fuck them, then act like a family friend in public.

It's understandable because in her mind her reputation might be at risk of being associated with prostitution, particularly in a city rife with older men effectively buying younger women. Women also care more about personality/experience/confidence and less about fertility/youthfulness in a mate, so from the female perspective it seems like an older guy is "creepily" taking advantage of a young girl's naivete just to get laid or because he can't get a "real woman".

Not to mention women will gladly seize any opportunity to hate on another woman, especially if they feel threatened. In the West hating on men of all ages for whatever reason is rapidly becoming a pastime.

Story about when 42 year old Hugh Hefner met teenage Barbi Benton

"At the age of 16, she began to model. Following high school, she attended UCLA, and at age 18 took a job with Playboy to appear on their entertainment show Playboy After Dark. She initially started as an extra on the show, but after Hefner fell in love with Benton, her role was quickly elevated to co-host. After recording two episodes, Hefner asked the young co-ed for a date. Upon being asked, she reportedly demurred to the then-42-year-old Hefner: "I don't know, I've never dated anyone over 24 before." To which Hefner replied, "That's all right, neither have I." The two began a relationship that lasted several years, and placed Benton in the center of the Playboy enterprise. Hefner convinced her to change her name from Barbara Klein to the more marketable Barbi Benton."

If you're giving careers out to get women you're running pretty extreme sugar daddy game. I don't have any moral qualms with that route but it definitely takes a lot less skill and the dynamic is probably a lot less satisfying. That said, props to anyone that can build a business that gives him that option.

I see your point, but I see this as a much better alternative than giving a girl cold hard cash or material possessions. This is more because of network and status, not nearly the sugar daddy level of the other two since what he offers doesn't come out of his own pocket.

As far back as I could remember, I always wanted to be a player.

Yeah, I meant extreme with respect to the power and resources at play. Of course the more directly the value is transferred, the less ideal it is.

It's pretty telling that even a manager of a local H&M making 15 bones an hour can do massively better than he otherwise would just because a few attractive young girls are working under him. So often very successful guys in tech or finance with above average looks/personalities end up with pretty shitty dating lives because their hierarchies are so male dominated.

Is there some experience, can a marriage with a 20-year-younger girl be successful in the long run? 45-year-old man getting married to a 25-year-old girl?

RE: Age Difference Acceptance by Country
In Colombia the 20 year age gaps didn't fare so well as what I've noticed is they are all divorced or on their way to being divorced. This is for those still under 50 and females in the 30 age range.
As for those gents who are 60 and females 40. I've seen some relative success.

In Qatar. I've noticed a lot of Philippinas with men 25 and 30 years older than them and are living in somewhat a normal marriage.

In Canada. I havent come across anybody that I can recall married to a person with a significant age gap. Our society considers it taboo on the male side. If the female gets her boy toy it's the stereotypical you go girl chants.

I say don't listen to these people. Go for whatever you feel will work for you.

So the further away you are from western ideals your ability to marry a much younger wkman increases. This is for normal folk.

As for billionaires, famous actors and athletes in western countries I think age gap doesn't really apply to them. It's their wallet and who they are that will trump age. Us normal folk somehow can't get the same treatment. But. Outside of Canada etx west. You can start dating and even marrying a lady much younger than you

There are a tonne of YouTube videos on this sorta theme.

I worked briefly in a hotel in germany some 10 years ago, the male staff(some in their 30's and 40's) there didn't have any problems hitting on and flirting with young practicants(also some sjw from north america mentioned that in a google review so it wasnt even subtle), and when i say young i mean very young, like junior highschool so probably like 15 year olds, also in the streets of a big city from west germany i witnessed some dude that had a norwood 7 balding condition and seemed like 35 years old kissing a young teenager that was at most 16 yo.

Here in Switzerland, the age difference is usually less than 5 years. I (37) am a rather extreme guy, trying to get very young girls (<22), but it gets increasingly difficult. When I was 30 I thought it was hard, but when I look back, it was quite easy back then, I was much more successful at least. Now, being 37, I have to invest a lot of time to finally date a girl who's under 22. Had one (20) a few weeks ago but only because she thought I'm 30.. Wink

The girl is 26 years old, virgin, never had a boy friend, never dated a man more than once, never kissed, etc.

She fell in love with me, but age seems to be the main problem, rather for her family than for her. Well, I told her that I am 39. Then, on my birthday I told her that I am 41. Upps, shock (mainly for her family, maybe also for her?). I asked her if I changed and she said no, actually not, I am still the same person, age does not really matter.

Her parents have also an age gap of 12 years. I then told her to imagine that her parents have only 10 years difference and we have 20 years, if this is still a possibility. Wow, she then was really puzzled. I told her that it is only to imagine what would be "her personal border".

Not sure how she will react once I will tell her my real age.

Funny - this is my situation. The girl did not know how old I was when we started dating. She asked my last name and I expected this was to find out. But she didn't.

Similar to you she was only in one other serious relationship before me.

I met her parents who are about 10 years older than me. I thought they would enquire but they were very nice.

My exact age has not come up. I gave her a range that I am two years older than. So she may think I am older than I am now.

She said, I don't care what people think. I told her I don't care what people think either. I care what you think. Are you sure your Ok with this? She said absolutely.

I will say she likes and appreciates good sex. I made that a focus for this relationship. You give a woman sex that is rare and good. You get them hooked.

The age thing came up early in the relationship. It wasn't direct but someone thought I was 15 years younger. I had to correct her and thought this the best time to bring it up . Although not specific I told her she was off by about 15 years. (And I'm not one of the guys that think I look 15 years younger. It was a mistake.)

She keeps me young. I keep a slim waist and shop at Brooks Brothers and Bonobos. I workout 6x a week. So I try and look good. And it is no way that I have money. Maybe somewhat reading books like Roosh.

The more time we spend together the better it gets. But worst-case scenario, if I ever see things go sideways there are plenty of other women out there.

For now, she says she is insatiable for me. Her words. (Again I focus on good sex.)

All we have is the present moments. So enjoy a younger woman, while you can. We can offer them things other men don't. (It has nothing to do with money.) I'll leave it at that.
