The big question I have is:

Are they resolving the series this season, or will they prolong it into a movie or another season?

I doubt Walt will kill the grey matter people. when he saw the video of them at the bar, he did catch this information: his blue meth is still on the market, so he knows jesse is still alive, or at least there's a good chance he realizes it.

He's going to kill the nazis. That much I think is quite probable. Will Jesse live? Will Walt get killed?

It seems like there is too much to resolve in just this one final episode, plus there are good financial reasons for keeping the show alive.

Meth Damon blew Andrea's head off while Jesse watched and the other Nazi's said "remember there is still the kid" so Andrea is definitely dead and Jesse will keep cooking for the nazis because he doesnt want Barak to get killed too.

I can't imagine Walt doing all of this on his own (killing the Gray Matter people and the nazi's in one 40 minute episode) but I guess Heisenberg could(using poison and science/explosives). After killing all of them, the question is "will walt kill Jesse or will jesse kill walt?"

The final episodes were about 55 minutes long, which is pretty long, maybe the extra time will help.

It seems that Walt got pissed because the Schawtz said walter never contributed anything meaningful AND he found out that someone out there is cooking Sky Blue. He knows no one can match his purity so Jesse must be out there cooking. Not to mention the Nazis provide enough incentive for Walter to return.

Yeah, the whole "cancer cared for" thing seemed like a good thing to pass up but someone as narcissistic and proud as walt would not accept it. First they ripped him off and now they want to make amends since finding out Walt has cancer, they weren't hiring him out of merit.

It's the final season, there are no talks about extending it other than Saul Goodman's show that takes place before his stint in BB. There's no way the producers could bring it back alive since Walt is already dead. Well not literally but the cancer is not going away.

I wonder why they decided to cut it off here, but I guess it's because everybody has to die. Walt has survived quite a bit with cancer.

Also, good observation on the Jesse thing on TV. I didn't notice that until you mentioned it. Walt knows that someone is out there cooking his meth and there's only one person that can do it.

Walt isn't going to go after Grey Matter. That was just a necessary hit to his pride that he needed to keep going when everything seemed lost and he was ready to give up.

He obviously wants to go after the Nazis and get his money back (he said as much). I don't think he gives a shit about Lydia. The ricin is for himself, I think.

1 - Walt's bootleg chemo treatment.......that's some desperate stuff right there. One can only wonder how much he is paying right there.

2 - Meth Damon giving Jesse a bucket of ice cream for a job well done...only before killing his girlfriend.

Regarding Walt and Grey Matter:

Some of you are asking why Walt didn't initially take Elliot and Gretchen's offer to help him with chemo. I think some of you come close by saying it is about his ego, but more than that, I think Walt was actually the impetus behind their company and he feels burned by their lack of acknowledgement to his contribution.

In the opening episode he has a plaque that mentions being part of the team awarded the Nobel Prize for some discovery made while at Grey Matter. Walt is a chemistry genius as evidenced by his meth and later Gabe's gushing over him. Chances are Walt did almost all the work at Grey Matter and really deserved most of the acclaim, but due to possibly banging Gretchen behind Elliot's back or some other falling out he had to bow out of the company to avoid scandal.

Now Grey Matter is a multi-billion dollar company, and Walt is a high school science teacher? And the people who took all the credit for his work are offering to pay for his chemo with money which should rightly be his? No, fuck that, says Walt. He's got too much pride for that, and thus the descent into meth kingpin. The fact that this is a key element of his character is later focused on again in his speech to Jesse about how even though he's made more money than he can ever spend, he continues to look at the stocks for Grey Matter and compares his profits to them. One-upping the company that he sees as wrongly taken from him is a huge motivator for his character and all the sublimated bile of 20 years that festers as Heisenberg.

And all of this is why seeing Elliot and Gretchen denying his contribution to Grey Matter pisses him off to the point of coming back. It's the only thing that motivates his character outside of his provision for family. He's definitely going to ruin their lives if not kill them, and so we come to my predictions for the final episode:


- Walt will find some way to kill the Nazis, and despite the M60 I think it will either be piecemeal or due to some chemistry magic. Gas or explosives possibly, with the M60 to mop up those who stumble out.

- Jesse and Walt will be momentarily reunited, possibly join forces to kill the Nazis or at least resolve things before the end

- Walt will find a way to link blue meth production/the nazi lab to Grey Matter, framing them and destroying the company, potentially through using Lydia also

- Walt will poison Jesse with the ricin in the end

- For some reason I feel Walt will survive his cancer yet again, but without family he has nothing to live for and fully becomes Heisenberg, mirroring Gus' transformation

Walt isn't going to kill the nazis himself. walt is willing to kill to get what he wants but hes not a very capable fighter himself. As ruthless as he is, Mike never sweated walt with a gun because walt cant use a gun. everytime hes killed someone with a gun it was point blank. an m60 is a powerful tool but the nazis themselves have assault rifles and KNOW how to use them.
I predict Walt creates a situation where the police and Nazis get into a shootout, with the nazis obviously losing. Walt turns himself in and uses the ricin for himself. he has no way of getting lydia, shes too careful and paranoid to let him near her.

Good point, Walter is a cook but not a killer. Even when he killed Mike he was regretting it in the end just before mike told him to STFU. Lydia's mistake was getting back with Todd, 92% purity was too good for her to pass up.

I also couldn't tell if he actually shot Andrea. I watched it on my phone and it sure didn't sound like a gunshot. More like a pistol whip...but I guess they muffled it to make it as if from Jesse's point of view through the van. Also there's no point in continuing her as a character as she's important enough to include in the finale.

So what I was hoping for looks to be right, Walt wants his money back from the Nazis. But he's also still hell bent on his family, shown in his call to Flynn. When he called the police dept. I was like WTF noooo. Next week should be insane. I think you guys are right...I think he'll kill himself with the ricin.

And I didnt get the impression Flynn worshipped Walt at all, he didnt even wanna carry his name and was always drawn to Hank, if anyone he worshipped his DEA uncle. Walt was always struggling with that, remember the episode with the party where Flynn pukes in the pool?

He wanted to go by Flynn earlier on but when Skyler kicked Walt out of the house, he wanted to go by Walt Jr. again.

Andrea is definitely dead, Meth Damon shot her with a .45 with a silencer attached to it. That's why the noise was muffled. It was just the bullet entering her skull, not the crack of the bullet leaving the barrel.

Ok here's what has to happen, revenge/justice has to be carried out.

Knowing that I think we can get some pretty good guesses going.

I think Walt will use Lydia to frame Jessie, the Nazis, and Grey Matter as the sky blue ring. The Nazis will be tied to Hank and Gomie's killings from the ballistics on their weapons. Jessie the Cook, and Lydia will use her shipping records to tie Grey Matter to it. Jessie will get off as he can easily say he was forced to cook against his will.

Walt isn't a fighter, I don't think he's going to launch an assault with the M-60.

I think that will be set up as some sort of diversionary tactic. I'm guessing he'll set it up on a tripod and will definitely go after the nazis with explosives.

I think Jessie will kill Todd, Walt will kill Uncle Jack.

I'm 50/50 about Jessie killing himself. But after Andrea being murdered, it's hard to see him wanting to live...

Walt will get his money or will end up destroying it after his full on transformation into Heisenburg.

One thing I don't get, why is Saul fleeing? And why the hell wouldn't he just leave the country rather than going to godforsaken Nebraska?

Saul is fleeing because his relationship Walt/Jesse/Skyler is beyond attorney-client privilege. He was a part of the operation with money laundering and a whole bunch of other illegal stuff. With Hank dead and the Heisenberg case becoming a national case, it is only a matter of time before he is implicated somehow.

Also, Huell is in the unofficial custody of the DEA and it is very likely that he will rat on him.

And, Skyler is going on trial. It is very possible that she will rat him out too to get a lighter sentence or cut a deal.

I think it is safe to say that Saul himself has a few million dollars and I just see him as cashing out at the right time.

Well, most of the case Hank built he kept to himself. Walt is under suspicion, but as hinted by the grand jury against Skyler, they don't have a lot of evidence to go on right now.

I think Walt will find a way to link Grey Matter and the blue meth and play himself off as a mere cook to their operation, just as he threatened Hank with in his "confession" video.

Good point they really grew closer in the later seasons. I was still disappointed by Juniors reaction to finding out about his dads second identity.

Jesse's character has evolved into the most beta bitch ass constantly crying and boo hooing mofo I've ever seen in TV show history. If he had half a brain, he'd have left with that fly Chica and the chalupa kid and his millions.

Last night's episode was okay, but I expect some serious fireworks in the finale.

Jesse has been through a lot of shit.

Having to shoot someone in the face point blank range might fuck you up a little bit. Getting tortured would also suck.

On the other hand, Hank is steadfast and determined, but not a little bitch like Jesse has been.

I too am a little sideways at Walt Jr., because yes, 99% of kids (myself included), on finding out that their dad is a drug kingpin, would be looking for a way to get a piece of the pie. Add to the fact that the character has done nothing of value on the show, goes by an admittedly gay name in Flynn and the way that he left-turned on Walt, just like that, when throughout the series he seems to favor him over Skyler, a rare example of spotty character writing on the show.

Yes, he's an evil piece of shit, but for real, does it seem to anyone else that he's spent the majority of the show dealing with the consequences of other character's fuckups? Jesse's myriad recurring fuckups (the most egregious of which was...oh who even knows, there's so many of them), and of course now, the fuckup that led him into the situation of having to give up his dough, Skyler, instead of being smart about it, deciding to keep 80 million dollars CASH instead of putting it to work; a storage locker full of unmarked, non-sequential bills, that's not conspicuous at all.

I mean bitch come on; talk to Saul and see if he knows anybody. All that cash, just sitting there, you can't buy real estate? What about physical gold? Cars? Art? Expensive Jewelery? ANYTHING you could purchase would be better than just letting the cash pile up, it's not like no one would ever find it...right?

I've been on the fence about Skyler (I don't have seething hatred for her, but I'm also not one of these 'If you hate Skyler you're a MISOGYNIST!' manginas; she's fucked up a LOT and had her fair share of cunty episodes), but thinking about all that shit, as well as her pulling a knife on Walt, plus the likely snitching to the FBI...hope she goes; she's just as complicit as Walt and it's only fair.

Skyler is a bookkeeper, she knows how accounting and money laundering works. She's good at what she does, although I still hate her. In one episode she mentioned "not even all of the car washes can make this much money!"

RE: Cars, real estate, art - All that shit is traceable to the IRS. They're going to come down and ask questions as to where they are getting money to buy all of that.

They hit the point of diminishable returns, they got so much money it's bad for them. It's better to keep quiet and not risk getting kidnapped or robbed by people. That has actually happened before in real life, people decided to kidnap a dealer and steal their money. It's better to keep quiet and keep it on the down low.
