Did the same thing to a chick here the other day.

Met her via a female friend. I have my female friend on facebook so she found my facebook and she added me.

She started messaging me which was nice because shes pretty damn cute and a nice body.

We meet for a drink and every time I go to the bathroom the dudes who work at the bar start hitting on her and radpidly disappear as soon as I return (run little rabbit, run).

Had some drinks and had my paws all over her which she seemed to respond to. Had to work early so she left early. Here is the funny part. Even though she lives with her parents and would not be able to invite me into her home if I went with her to her place she still expected me to escort her home in the taxi.

In other words, even though it was early, she wanted me to leave the bar. Go with her to her home. Wave goodbye at the door (because there is zero logistics for the lay at her place) and then take the taxi all the way back to the bar again.

Of course I said no and she did not react badly at first but starts bitching to me on facebook about not being a "gentleman" and acting all offended because I did not put her on a pedestal like every other guy does. I told her damn right I am not a gentleman, I am a man.

I then basically told her off for acting like a spoilt princess and told her to cut that crap if she wanted to hang out again.

Anyway, this Saturday I invite her out and she tells me where she is going to be with her friends and asks to meet me there. I dont show up.

I invite her out another night and she does the same thing. Tells me where she is going to be "with her friends"

Now the idea of chasing her across the city and competing with her friends for her attention is more princess crap as far as I am concerned and I tell her I am not interested in that and to cut out the princess crap.

The then gets pissed off at me for not complying and informs me that she has "1,000 guys chasing her" which only confirms to me that she expects me to be like one of them and put her on a pedestal.

I tell her "You have 1,000 guys chasing you. Great. I am not one of them. When you are ready to drop the princess crap, let me know until then I am deleting you from facebook" and then I deleted her.

Felt good.

Did the same thing Saturday night. Brought a girl over, she didn't want to bang, and generally did her best to waste my time while giving me zero pleasure. Next morning she asked if I wanted to hang out with her again. I said, "No, I'm good."

Are "take aways" of varying stripes and colors.

Can be a very strong move.

You have to have strong Game and be an all around G to make them work or have any effect.

These are not beginner moves.

I fully concur, G. But sometimes we gotta go into fight, in order to grow some cajones and get strong game.

I don't do well with the 'ok' text to lizards even though that's a style that works.
I agree fully with Hen that sometimes, we need to let lizards know what time it is exactly.

I had a Ghanaian lizard that I had to check last year but my regrets is that I kind of beta'd out when I cancelled on her. She responded to me late last year in the fall via text (usually in the summer here, lizards exercise their strongest options and then fall back on their betas in the winter).

When she re-contacted me, I told her, if she is not coming to my place, then we have nothing else to talk about, standard. I'm not interested in making female friends just for the sake of it. Unless the personality gels with mine, I don't hang out with women to get wow'ed by their beauty, regardless of how fine she is.

I've never been on that. If she ain't attainable then she is as good as butt ugly in my books.

No 'ok' and no 'sure, whenever'. Let her know that you stand a certain way and that as a king (which we all are), you don't put up from rubbish from your subjects.

It actually makes it better for other cats too (even though some cats don't care about reciprocity). That means when we pick up a lizard that has been around, she will already conduct herself in a respectful fashion and not be into wasting time.

If you really want to get better, I wouldn't do these "take aways" by text.

Texting in general is a weak form of communication other than basic facts.

"Take aways" need to be strong. When you text them, they are kind of weak by default.

Never write what you can say over the phone.

Never say over the phone what you can say in person.

Never say in person what can be said in gestures.

Never say in gestures what can be said with silence.

G, I was thinking about your comments on texting during my trip. Due to the fact that I was using a very shytty phone which made texting extremely hard, it was much easier for me to pick up the horn instead. Plus, the fact that I was in one of the loudest and most confrontational countries inthe modern world, it made it easier to just speak my mind.

I thought carefully and I did realise that texting is a bit of a pussified way to communicate besides for logistics purposes. I too am guilty of it but so far this year, I have not committed that sin.

Even though it may deter a lot of prospects, those who were deterred were flaky anyway. The ones who do stick around are ready to play in the 4th quarter.

This is why I have a few ground rules when gaming in DC.

1.If a girl is a 7 or above and has lived in dc area for more then a year, I HAVE to bang her that night. If I don't I just assume i'll never see her again(She will flake or play text games).

2. I only call back girls who are relatively new to the area or tourists(if it's a friday and I can pull a next day bang).

Following these rules have saved me a lot of time.

I called her left her a message.

I kind of blew it though. I should have said, "wear high heels and a skirt" like I usually do. Or told her that over the phone.

I'm kind of anti-"put her in her place" myself. If one has options and other girls cooking, what's the point of sending of sending an unsolicited "GFY" text to ONE girl?

I know that HC's text wasn't coming from a place of butthurt-edness or disappointment, but I can't say that women aren't going to interpret it that way.

I have been reading this forum for about 3 years now i mainly lurk, but one of the most important thing i got from RVF is NO DATES BEFORE 9pm, unless something very exciting before hand.

I agree there were conflicting messages being sent here but I can understand how it happened- the OP was trying to move things forward and took the opportunity she gave him.

I wouldn't have dismissed her outright though- if she is making it difficult to see her I simply go silent on her 10-14 days at least.

She will interpret this as you being busy with other women and that she is not a high priority with you-if she is at all attracted to you this will pique her interest

You did the right right thing. I would have done the same because I have a strict policy about the 2-week/3-visit window (whichever comes first) as far as banging. Since she would not have made my window, I would have discarded her anyway.

I don't really take excuses well especially the "I have been busy" excuse. Hell, I worked a full-time job while going to graduate school so I am not going to be that sympathetic about how one THOUGHT their schedule was so busy.

In my area a common reason for this is b/c the women are scared. Cabbies are usually creeps towards attractive women by themselves. The cab driver also then knows where they live.

This is not true at all, especially wrt DC. I've transitioned girls from Happy Hours to my place or to another bar/restaurant and back to my place countless times. I know the city by heart, and I know the culture, and I know Ethiopian women very well (my family is from the Horn of Africa).

I wouldn't go to a HH if I hadn't been successful with them before.

DC is in a league of its own. I don't care what city/country you're from or how developed your game is, this city will crush your soul. Common questions from girls here, unlike girls from other cities, is where do you work (not what you do), and where did you go to school?

That said, it's a great training ground for players. I usually kill when I travel, and nowhere have I met girls as cold as the ones in DC. On top of that, the quality you get for all the hard work it takes to operate in this environment is pretty low. DC women have nothing on women from top-tier cities like Miami, NYC, or Los Angeles.

As for the DHV point, the girl was enthralled by my stories of adventure (apparently) and loved how I lived in Cali and am going there next week. It's her dream to relocate to the Bay Area. She kept talking about how much we had in common and how we're a good match, even hypothetically talking about us in terms of being a couple. I just gave a bemused smile knowing that all I care about is the roster.
