Heterogeneity in personality types and calibrating gaming styles
I haven't had much experience calibrating my game to different personality types.

For an ENTP/ENTJ girls, she is literally the devil. Pump and dump and get out of there ASAP. INFPs are the eternal ingenues, and will sleep with anyone who makes them feel good. INFJs can go there, but are more likely to have a solid moral code and be fiercely loyal.

For each girl, the E and P indicates higher chance of infidelity and a less rigid world view. J and I indicates more rigid world views and prudishness.

Do you guys calibrate your game or is this not important to success?

I think if one could learn to cold read a type, a good player could emphasize his superior or inferior functions depending on what the situation called for. It could lead to some super game Big Grin

RE: Heterogeneity in personality types and calibrating gaming styles
For me, I use the girl's fashion as a cold read. Does she wear preppy J-crew clothes? Then I'll assume she's coming from some money and will be a little more stuck up, and I adjust accordingly. If she's wearing Urban Outfitters, I expect a more laid-back kind of hippy vibe, but still raised in a middle class environment. Over time you'll notice a ton of tiny fashion niches, even cultural references on T-shirts expose what movies or TV shows she's watching and will give you a cold-read into her personality or even a customized opener.

Palm reading seems gimmicky, but I haven't yet to meet a single girl who doesn't like palm-reading, and this is including physics post-docs, physicians, and other supposedly super-logical women. Bring up stuff like the relationship line, life-line, heart line, brain line, and you can get so much cold-read into her personality, and foray into stories of her life.

Astrology is also very good for the same purpose. Its a freaking gold mine, and I bet early astrologers were swimming in pussy, its the perfect combination of cold-reading, combined with fun quirky bits of animals and mysticism. Its suggestive powers disguised as "fate" or "destiny" is a very powerful tool.

The combination of these 3 has worked as expected all but once, and that one girl was a Mormon girl who immediately called up the church bishop to ask if palm reading was real or if it was satanic LOL. Well even then, she was still super interested in it and I was able to type her personality pretty well.

The use of palm reading and astrology could also be used as a jolt of mysticism, fate, or destiny you might need for escalation. I remember I was at a bar with a girl, and I asked her sign, and she was an Aries (sheep), and I was a Leo. We talked a bit about our personalities, and then I asked her "What do you think happens when a lion meets a lamb?", and she asked if I wanted to eat her, and I escalated to make-out.

If you want to get more academic with it, read about Bayesian networks. The idea is that the network displays all possible outcomes of interactions, like a spider web. Every time new evidence or information is presented, certain paths are ruled out, which makes other paths more likely. Finally, after enough evidence is gathered, its possible to classify the object or predict the outcome (in this case the girl, or the outcome of pickup). I've always wanted to create a comprehensive probabilistic model of dating, taking into account the parameters of the man, the situation, and the woman.

RE: Heterogeneity in personality types and calibrating gaming styles
It depends on your own type I think. Being an ENTJ myself, I think it naturally helps you lead which means you will be successful with a lot of different girls. I came across this earlier in the year regarding relationships between types and taking account of masculine/feminine dynamics:

http://defaultuserblog.wordpress.com/201...g-by-type/

Quote:Basic Rules

Although neither scientific nor based on any coherent theory, I did follow some basic rules.

- Generally, it will be better if the man is the more extraverted in a mixed match.
- Having the man favor thinking and the woman feeling will likely be happier.
- Different preferences regarding S/N may be harder to bridge than others (e.g. T/F), but even here, mixed pairs can work.
- Type matches are not necessarily reversible; the type that belongs to the man and the type that belongs to the woman is important.

Most type theory ignores the male/female dynamics.

In the modern vernacular, I would be sexist. I assume the man should usually be the more dominant and logical partner. If introverted he should provide stoic calm, if feeling he should provide warm leadership, etc. Masculinity may be expressed in several ways, but whatever way type dynamics work, it is better if the man has the role most would consider masculine.

Example: The ENTJ/INFP match suggested by some may well work for an ENTJ male, but I really doubt and ENTJ woman would be happy with the more gentle INFP man (I have my doubts about the match in the first place).

I don't think you can really calibrate your game on the fly, but you can work to maximize your own strengths when you know your type as seen there above in combination with the game we know works.

As for palm reading, I've found that girls generally like it, though I mainly just use it as an excuse for gradual escalation and don't make predictions. I just mock the concept.

Fashion can mostly IMO give away a girl's age, which I recently wrote is an important factor in your overall success rate.

That's some pretty neat insights. Thanks for sharing.

Will look up bayesian networks.

The blog Libertas shared is absolutely on point. If introverted, be the stoic, strong silent type. If a feeling type, demonstrate warm leadership.

As for girls...

Well, I have been trying to get to know an INFJ, and it's a disaster. She doesn't chase, nor does she send any signals. I'm working in the dark. It's like the ultimate antithesis to man game. I've been in serious danger of one-itis so I had to quit, but afterwards I figured out she was an INFJ and all of a sudden more things made sense.

Another time I game an INFP and it was so fucking natural and easy, but it only worked because I tried to use my inferior S and F functions and forget the T function.

Anyways, those are with the introverts. With the extroverts, I find shutting up and letting her do more talking is often excellent approach.

A girl with a solid moral code and is fiercely loyal? Lol

As an INTJ, I don't believe in smart man's astrology.

That's because INTJs are not very imaginative Wink

But yeah, my sample size is small but all three INFJs I've met were by far the best relationship material. I doubt you'd ever be able to get one to cheat on her BF.

INFPs on the other hand.

Btw: some of the scientific criticsm of MBTI is relevant, but most of it I've read is extreme hyperbole where they use more straw-men then really give the MBTI approach fair consideration.

I think the MBTI is largely accurate. ENTJ describes my personality and traits extremely well, and I find it does the same with other people I know according to the type they score as.

I love how the MBTI system has a type for little smart alecks like yourself Sleepy

MBTI works well enough, but it doesn't describe temperament very well. I've met very chilled out and even big baller CEO type ENTJs. I'm an ENFP and know another ENFP who fits the manic pixie fairy stereotype well.

And for the record, I've known a few INTJs ladies who have a solid moral code and are fiercely loyal. The irony is, INTJ ladies are 0.5% of the total population.

Avoid ENFJ females. Have yet to meet one that isn't manipulative.

INFJs are very instinctually driven and operate on a body language channel. INFJs are addictive little fuckers because they know how to hit anyone's buttons just right. This will sound strange, but be direct with your ambiguity. Charming people puzzles win these types over.

Frenchie, you've thought about this somewhat. What makes you say that?

Most guys in here are ENTPs (no wonder - woman is the ultimate intellectual challenge) - and I've often heard INFJs are often ideal matches. Not that I'm looking to settle down. Any opinion on this?

Are they?

Maybe we should do a census of sorts and talk more about this stuff - the game strengths and weaknesses for each type, the best type of girl to go for, etc. It would be interesting.

Ideal for ENTP. For ENTJ, you'd probably want an INTP

I'm not sure how much help I can be here, but let me try.

From how I understand how intuition works in the MBTI sense. Your extroverted intuition is sensed by her introverted intuition. Don't be intimidated by what you think is her "emotional" depth. INFJs and INTJs for that matter focus their intuition to a fine point. For the F it's feeling for the T it's logic. They're looking to place you into a very deep schemata. Your goal is to have her fail in this endeavor.

With this in mind game in a way that keeps her guessing. Being up front and direct won't work. You'll have to flirt and woo them indirectly. When they think they know you, change it up. Inconsistency will draw them in.

In short look for lively debate on any topic. If you feel after talking to her refreshed and with a better outlook on whatever chances are she feels the same way to. This is how you hook on

Are you sure she's an INFJ? A lot of ISxJs look similar. You can tell by her eyes when you talk to her. If they dart around, most likely an INFJ.

RE: Heterogeneity in personality types and calibrating gaming styles
I've found learning about MBTI types to be very useful for improving my relationships. I've made a great effort to be as humble and open minded about others' feelings as I can, but being an ISTJ, my abilities in that regard are limited.

I'm currently navigating a situation with an ESFJ, and it's had ups and downs. Communication is often very enjoyable and satisfying with them. When there's disagreements, it's difficult. If I'm frustrated, I'm very frank and want to solve an issue immediately. But to her, she's extremely sensitive to criticism. If I had learned a bit more about personality types, this would have been easy to foresee. Now I know what to expect before it happens, and can head it off easily. Overthinking game made me seriously cut back on my complimenting frequency, but they're actually beneficial in this scenario.

I think it's a highly valuable tool in learning the hot buttons and hazards with the different people you come across. Definitely take a look.
