Just ask her directly is she wants to come and watch movie with you at your place ... Doesn't matter where I got number, I always pushed for the movie.
I had the most conservative girls agree to come down to my place.

There is so much choice that it's pointless to invest too much time into one girl. If she refuses, NEEEXTTTTTTT!

It starts like that and where will it end?

Like in Laos? Where having sex (as a gringo) with a local woman is a crime?? Or like in Belarus where young women are not allowed to travel abroad or leave the country?Undecided

Yes, laws are indications of cultural shifts. When you combine collective mate-guarding by men and jealous disapproval by women, the constituency of mostly-poor women who are looking to marry a foreigner can't compete. It's a good rabble rousing issue. Of course, there have been some bad stories.

Quote:“The exploitation of our women, thru the so-called mail-order or pen-pal, Facebook, website and other internet-arranged marriages, have caused not only untold miseries and sufferings for the victims but also brought dishonor and disgrace to Filipino womanhood,” Garcia emphasized.

The fuck is this dynastic corrupt bitch talking about "dishonor and disgrace?" She's got abuse-of-power and graft cases in her past.

Or maybe she's butthurt that no poreigner wants her post post and post menopausal ass for a bride and wants to ensure no other younger girls get to experience what she didn't.

Book the trip to the Philipines now. This winter looks like the right time!

I'm packing my bags. I'll be in Makati the 16th thru the 24th. PM me if you want to grab drinks or what not.
Brodiaga · 2014-11-14 10:32:00 · #957
I'll be packing my bags soon. Makati from Nov 23 to 30, then Cebu until December 5.

Can't fucking wait.

Since I've been hanging out with Filipina balikbayan in Dubai and Cairo (too much!) one thing I've noticed is how they are like snakes in a barrel when isolated from home and men.

Constant drama and conflict among themselves, for no good reasons. I told the one with me now I don't want to hear about it anymore. It's a dumb soap opera with only women characters.

would you mind sharing their name and which apartments. This is widespread and you can attempt some preventive measures, such as demanding that in the lease it states you will receive your deposit back on move out day in cash.

I never tested it, but I did play hardball with some landlords where I was looking at apartments and said this was a precondition for there to be ANY possibility of me taking the apartment.

I told the agents I wouldn't look at any apartment unless the landlord agreed in advance to refund-on-move-out day in cash at the apartment. About 2/3 went for it, as they knew I would not even view the apartment without that. Of course, the could still just not show up and sort of dare you to stay there, but it makes it a little easier to sort the willful crooks from the lazy.

Another thing is to negotiate lower deposits and partially use it to pay utilities. Then your exposure is lower if it's one month minus utilities. Th places with private landlords that are hard to contact, asking two months security, are really dangerous money risk wise.

If they resist refund on move out, at least you know it's a warning that they are out to grab as much as possible from the "rich american" -- you have no real leverage, it takes several years to sue and you can't get rough in a foreign country where you will always be the one who's blamed for problems.

One thing that has to be certified, is whether filipinas stand up to Indonesian girls in looks, ease and personality. I am looking forward to finding out soon enough,

IKE,
Even if you do get them to include in the contract that the deposit must be refunded in cash on move out day, it's still not a garantee that they will do it. As you mentioned yourself, they know full well how long it takes and how hard it is to get things going in the banana republic like that the Pinoy legal system is. If you sue them the lawyers will gang up on you to drag the process as long as possible in order to milk you for as much and as long as possible.

Best thing to do is negotiate the deposit to as little as possible.

Another thing to do to gain leverage and minimize ones risks is to do what this guy has been doing. Very ingenious!

Anyone in here done anything like that to infiltrate the local police/politician and game them to become part of the team so to speak? This is a very smart thing to do. Get in with those groups, specially police, become friends with them and have them regularly drop you by your place so people see that you are not a nobody. Even better, organize a party in your place with the police officers and invite your landlord as a courtesy for friendship building.

Has anyone staying long term, specially in the smaller cities done anything like what the smart guy above has been doing? I'm sure even in Manila, this would be possible with the right approach.

This way, shady landlords and other petty criminals will think hard and long before missing with you.

This could work in most places around Asia IMO.

Rent was 20,000 pesos and the deposit was 10,000 pesos. The deposit was used to cover the utilities, water, and cable. At the end it came out to around 7,000 pesos, but they didn't show me the actual bills. If I were staying I could've pressed the issue, but I was flying out that day so it wasn't practical and they knew this. I asked for the 3,000 pesos but they said since I'm staying one more day they have to do they readings again, etc. so I didn't clean the apt when I left. No biggie and it was a small amount of money.

Unfortunately I have to advise caution when going there. Last time I was there a mysterious pasta for 350+ php appeared on my bill even though we didn't order it. It happened on a Saturday evening but the place was not too full, there were still empty tables.
Maybe it was an accident, maybe not - either way, always check your bill before you leave!

You could try and pay by card or PayPal, then you have a better degree of protection as you can reverse payments. Not sure if that is feasible in the phils though.

At the end of the day, many in SEAsia are out to grab as much money out of foreigners as possible, girls included.

One of my lessons was not asking for a hotel key deposit receipt. Upon checking out they said they never ask for key deposits! Sigh...

These kinds of things should only ever happen to you once. If they happen twice, you're a fool.

Faked my location to Cebu on Tinder, and only swiped girls that were 7 and above , can't believe it man, 45 matches already, bunch of girls asking if I want to meet up. No wonder you guys are addicted to Philippines. On january I was thinking of going to Sao Paolo, but after my Cebu spoof, I've changed my mind, I'm heading to Cebu.

I get the impression there are more 7+ girls in Cebu, than in Davao. Maybe they just wear more makeup or dress more elegantly. The Filipino men, i have talked to, are divided. I will have to go to Cebu one of these days.

Of course, if I can take a small break from Bangkok. How did your tinder hits with 7s compare in Cebu, as compared to Jakarta?

So far my Cebu hits are way better than Jakarta, last time when I was in phils I was a noob and only visited manila. This time it will be different.
Spoofed my location to Cebu today, quality is superb.

Just look at my recent matches

I would say, based on that, internet quality, is better in Cebu than what I have seen in Jakarta, so far. There are a lot of 6s in Jakarta, even among 18 to 22 year olds.

How do I make the pics smaller, its messing up the thread

Be very careful of the Ladyboys. In my experience, those bitches often won't say they are in their profiles. The first two set off the Ladyboy alarms. Just one pic though. That last one is very cute.

I asked her, she said she is a female. I'll give her benefit of the doubt lol. Said she's in cebu for flight attendant training course, do they let ladyboys become fa'S?
