It does look like the guy has gone overboard, sometimes RSD pushes it just a little bit too far, like in this case.
I've seen a fair few of their videos and to be fair, some of them I've found useful (Tyler's mostly), but that said, sometimes it does feel like they're taking the piss, exaggerating scenarios deliberately to get some laughs.
Still, if you're an even semi-smart dude, you'll see this and you won't take everything they say as gospel truth and take the good from it, and ignore any dubious content.
It's true that Tyler has become very very rich on the back of RSD, he's admitted as much in some recent clips.

Julien made the video for a shitstorm like this(hence why the video doesn't really offer anything of value). Obviously the company will grow and gain more subscribers from this incident.

I do agree with Roosh, RSD doesn't give a fuck about the Manosphere or the red pill. While they do have some good content(and some mediocre content), they are a commercial company and should be treated as such.

I understand Deluge's point, but I doubt anything is going to come of this. The SJWs will forget about this and move on to something else. RSD and Julien will come out with more business in the end from this, this isn't something the manosphere needs to get involved in.

Even though I'm totally against of what Julien did in Japan I don't agree with the main opinion here.
I learned a lot from RSD guys especially some years ago when I was new in the game and didn't know where to look since lots of people still relied on canned materials.
RSD was one of the first companies to release amazing "natural" contents. The Blueprint was life shattering for me and I would never forget that.
I went at the Alex Hot Seat and it was fucking good, lots and lots of value for like 200€. I also made lots of friends there and I winged with many of them.

Julien is a great pick up artist, his videos and lay count speak for themselves and many of the girls he banged are fucking gorgeous so saying that he is bad at what he does is kind of laughable.
The problem with him is that he sometimes goes over the line with the intention to spark controversy and to please his fanboys and this time he got exposed.

I think this war between different PUA forums isn't good, if you read the feminist comments they are bashing all the pick up industry and not just RSD.

I think there are value in both forum, just different perspectives. I learned from 10 different communities and people from all over the world...everyone can have something valuable to say even though they can say bullshit in between.

Julien is known for being kind of a sociopath and his main job there is to please the craving for debauchery wanted by part of the RSD users.
Alex and Tyler are better and I found lots of value in their videos, even though the "looks don't matter" dogma that they keep repeating and preaching is kind of ridiculous.

As I said I went out with some guys from RSD and they were really cool and friendly guys...absolutely normal and with great game so it's better not to generalize

I don't know much about these RSD guys or many of the diff PUA companies (found RVF through G) but what can you learn from them that you can't already learn from Roosh, SwoopTheWorld, Krauser, etc. and the RVF in general?

From what I've seen of RSD guys and from what I've learned about their game. All it is spam approaching through hyped up confidence. No wordplay, no creativity, no interest generation, but instead a spam approach to somehow getting laid. It's purely physical. You might pull a 6 if you're an average guy or if you are attractive you might get 7s but you're aren't going to be pulling much higher than you're capable of. The RVF model and the advice given here is much more congruent as it creates well rounded individuals who can actually make conversation. RSD fails to do that until you've spent crap tons of time learning. Shock, hype, and awe will only get you so far.

I'm not defending RSD, and as I said I think they have good content, and mediocre content. I feel like they are going towards a bad direction, and are over marketing to their fanbase.

That being said, I do like RSDTyler's self development videos.

This video is one of my all time favorites, and really helped me become more productive and use my time better.





I don't relate to Tyler's game advice, and it doesn't help me personally. I agree with the criticism that its not sustainable for the average guy, and I can't maintain that kind of high energy.

However, its pretty inspiring to see a guy like that kill it because he's not a good looking guy. Lots of guys here hate on his appearance, which shows how impressive it is for him to be doing well with girls.

RSDAlex's material is very solid. I think he's one of the best out there, and he consistently gets results with hot girls despite being 5"8. His infield hotseat seminar did help me quite a bit. He is literally the opposite of RSDTyler, and actively hates on that sort of spam approaching method. If you watch his videos, he advocates focusing on being relaxed, having a good time, and not trying to overgame the girls.

I take advice from everyone. When I hung out with 20Nation in Nicaragua, I was constantly learning from him, and listening to his advice. I learned a few different things about myself by hanging out with him, one of which was that I was nervous at the end stage of game(learned this when I fumbled a lay up). When I returned to Toronto, I worked on that and now much I"m much smoother and relaxed especially in the end game.

I've had various teachers, and I've learned different things from all of them.

Ive said time and time again.
I hate RSD game but I don't hate RSD
You can't really say that the actually members of RSD don't have game.
Its just how they promote the game to others.

It's not well rounded.

They are the TimeShare of the Game world.
They host a bunch of free shows hotels and convince people to come.. having them bring along their friends and such.
They put on a good sales pitch. nothing they say is revolutionary. I have watched a couple of their things online to understand where they come from.
They mostly just tell guys that literally have nothing.. to have confidence.
Giving someone confidence can turn them into a slave for you if dont right.....Its game
and then at the end.. instead of giving away Mp3 players or a shitty camera. they tell everyone which bar they are gonna go to.
Everyone goes to those bars and clubs.. and the real show begins.
They run wild flashy game.. going up to as many girls as possible. kissing everyone in sight ect.
Its a massive show from what ive heard and seen from their videos.

Then, average guys see this and sign on the dotted line for their massively overpriced hands on training.. or dvds


I have been on RVF forever and would recommend Bang and this forum over anything RSD related.
BUT.. months ago I got my hands on a copy of PIMP by one of the RSD members( I would never give those dudes a dollar of my own money)

What I got from it...was a magician or someone with ADD reading bang to me.
Telling me to have confidence and just go out an approach.
all while telling me i need to watch the video 20 times over and over with a notepad.

Maybe if, I was new to the game.. this would be special.. but im not...and nothing in the video was really game changing for me.. its stuff ive heard beffore..or read before... for free.
Im sure their youtube videos are just long drawn out versions of their paid packages.

I said it earlier in this post.. they dont teach a well rounded game.
People that read bang.. also find the blog.. and the forum.
And this community is full of much more well rounded members and teachings.

RSD has no good backbone to their product.
ITs a bunch of really really average guys.. that are just given confidence to approach...and to approach alot.

But no one is telling them....dress well, eat well, be fit..travel if you can, read books and or educate yourself ect.

BUT I don't think RSD will get pulled under the water at all... most of the world doesnt care.
Most of the world doesnt care about Gamergate to make a massive difference...this is just a skirmish among our community.
And I don't think we need to really defend them for anything.. they can take care of themselves.
..however.. I don't think we should have all out hate for them and wish they go down also.. because at the end of the day.. they are still in the game business.. even if they are shady

Actually all the RSD stuff is free: they post daily videos usually 30+ minutes. Their city tours have 3+ hr freebie seminars with infield footage. One could argue that these free seminars are to upsell you to the bootcamp but in fact the freebie seminar I went to the bootcamp was sold out so everyone who attended the freebie who wanted to switch over to the bootcamp couldn't.

But the big thing that RSD does is embrace technology: it's a lot easier for me to listen to a podcast or podcast their youtube vids to learn from then reading blogs. Listening to the podcasts on the treadmill and in the car helps one to internalize a lot of things that you can't get from reading.

I agree the RSD forums are trashy and full of newbs, but the message of self-actualization and method of delivery that RSD teaches is fantastic.

Here's an interesting thought: A LOT of posts on this forum are dedicated to witchhunts - how to avoid them, what to do in the case of them, etc - some of them included the Mozilla firefox CEO who was ousted because he donated to anti-gay marraige cause 10 years ago, as well as a few other individuals. Usually the consensus of those threads are that the SJW opponents are attacking the guy by viciously taking the guy's comments completely out of context from the reality of the situation - the SJWs are not seeing the forest for the tree. It really seems the same is happening here on this thread. 99% of Julien's stuff is great - he preaches self-actualizing oneself, becoming unstifled, becoming a fluent and interesting conversationlist, living a healthy lifestyle and most importantly, taking action.

This particular situation is one minor incident that he did for publicity and everyone's attacking him as if he's the devil incarnate. Yes, he went over the line in this incident, but to generalize him as a complete & utter shit-tard as he has been in this thread is a mistaken and patently false belief because 99% of his content his entertaining & illuminating, and it's all released for free as well.

If someone can't find value in the Blueprint he probably didn't watch it or he had some arguments with a bunch of RSD people and now hate on them.

Two of my regular wingmen used to be huge RSD fanboys (I say used to because one stopped going out and the other got a girlfriend). They religiously watched all their Youtube videos etc. and went to an Alex hotseat, I think one downloaded The Blueprint as well. I've gone out with these guys dozens and dozens of times and never noticed any difference in the nightgame style/techniques they were taught from RSD compared to mine from Roosh and RVF.

They're doing a segment on this on primetime Australian television tonight (on The Project).

Have you read the game section of this forum at all? Have you looked at my sig and datasheet about social circle? There's more to this forum than avoiding witch hunts. Try using the search function and actually reading for once. Those podcasts are made for any wannabe PUA to read. Try digesting what's already available here instead of touting something that is far inferior to what members here have contributed. We've even critiqued fellow forum members' game in a thread. The amount of knowledge is astounding so get off your high horse on getting things conveniently handed to you and actually read something for once. The knowledge is worth more the harder you work for it.

This incident was much overhyped to begin with. From what I read about this video the girl in question wasn't even the asian guy's girlfriend. The two girls were already walking with the two RSD guys. The asian guy started talking to her and the RSD dudes came and amog'd him for the camera.

If they were to walk up to some guy's actual girlfriend I seriously doubt it would happen like this. They might be able to get a little touchy, clown, and flirt for awhile but outright pulling her away and home in front of the boyfriend is something i've never seen done in real life.

I would like to see some of these guys try to actually pull some guy's girlfriend away like this in let's say Korea. The results would be amusing.

No offense but I don't think you are qualified to say who's game is "well rounded" or "solid" etc.
