I'm glad you had a good experience. It does sound very similar to the effects of MDMA. I will say this about drugs though ...they don't really make the experience better, they don't make you a better player. They change your perception of what is going on around you. For all you know you could have been acting exactly the same as you normally do or you could have been a complete douche. But to you your perception was that you had a good experience. It's fun to experiment. Just take it slow and always be in control.

Yes, I have used this. It lowers your blood pressure slightly. I take 20 mgs in morning and may supplement with 10 mgs in afternoon. Good if you have public speaking fears/trouble composing your thoughts vocally under any type of pressure. bad side is it makes you sleepy and may contribute to shoddy work product(because youre tried).

What is a beta blocker? I could google but would like an explanation I understand. I have white coat syndrome. My pressure is high at the doctor like sky high but at my house after 1 beer it's fine.

beta blocker- a pill that blocks your beta side and unleash your inner alpha

i used beta blocker propanolol , its supposed ro reduce high pressure and also help with phisical symptoms of stress. However it never worked for me fo so called "performance anxiety".

I've taken this for the past month or so the first time I took this I had a huge euphoric feeling and felt like I could do anything, very happy and soaring confidence. I went to the gym and was in a great mood lifting weights feeling the music. It felt like all social conventions were out of the window and I could take on and do anything, it was that amazing. Came home and just started dancing for an hour or so. After taking it a few more times the effects lessened.

My dosage was only 1.5gms and I think that's only how much you should take, any more than that just makes the effects less and less.
Taking it for 3-4 days straight the only side effects were sleeping like a rock and cloudy feeling when waking which went away after a few hours.
Now tapered down and only take 1-3x a week with 1-2 week breaks with no other side effects.

Best description is your inhibitions go out the window and you feel like you could do anything and are more capable but still in control. Others feel your energy and you draw them in.
Possible that it might be my personality may differ for others.

Yeah just took 500mgs at 5pm. Had friends in town tonight so went to a club and got a bottle. Had ~8oz of stoli vodka between 12AM and 3:30AM.... and I am FUCKED up. I really can't reiterate enough how fucked up you get when you drink and take this drug. I normally can handle myself much better than I can now.

Pros:

• Phenibut lives up to the hype in that it takes away your anxiety. It's kind of strange, for a moment, you can feel the anxiety in your stomach, but after a second or two it gets washed away and you are back in your normal state.
• Music sounds better. It makes me want to dance and I hardly ever want to dance.
• This stuff makes me feel like I'm having a great day every day I use it. Even the days afterwards feel great. I was like this before but to a lesser extent.
• The afterglow was really cool but I haven't felt that since the day after I first used the stuff .
• I do wake up feeling great with zero hangover. It's like I didn't take anything.

The only con, if you want to call it that, is that four beers feels like ten. That doesn't bother me though.

Also, it's not going to make you want to go and talk to people. You still have to motivate yourself to do that.

I only take it up to three times a week. No tolerance or addiction. I recently went four days without it and didn't feel any increase in anxiety or decrease in my happiness or mood.

Overall, it's pretty fun. Can't wait for college to roll around.

I want to piggyback on this post and give a more detailed review of my experience with phenibut. I'll keep this brief and specific to what stuck out to me.

- Most certainly has a synergistic effect with alcohol. I would say this is similar to drinking while taking a xanax.
- I did not experience an afterglow(dosed 500 mgs at one serving with a meal)
- Will make you sleep like a champ. After drinking I typically do not sleep well but last night I passed out for a solid 5 hours and then napped for an additional 4 hours after my friends left. This drug will make you sleep more than you would otherwise.
- Approaching is a breeze. I am fairly new to game but have been around the concepts for awhile and approaching has always been a sticking point(won't be for long). While on this drug I would readily approach and talk to people about anything. Not once did I ever think to myself "mhmm what am I going to open her with". I had no fear or anxiety about approaching whatsoever.

On another note I've really been digging this stuff, gonna be going out solo and it always makes me a chatty little bugger. It's possibly just a placebo effect but I just talk and talk about whatever on it, it's like a godsend for gaming. Anyone else get really really horny on it though?

I spent 20 minutes looking for this stuff online, and most places either stopped carrying it or the link is bogus.

I want to order from the happy hippo site that GLL mentions on his blog, but the ordering process is confusing as fuck.

I took a drug called Gabapentin a while back, and it gave me pretty much the same effects mentioned here. I wouldnt be surprised if they had similar chemical profiles, since they both affect the GABA receptors. It was a glorius feeling, really surprising just how good it was.

I'm going to keep looking and if I find a viable link ill definatley post it here
