I've only taken it once. I took 1.25g in one go and found it really good. I had no drawbacks/ side effects the next day. I will take it very occasionally in the future.

I'm still taking this 1X a week, usually on a friday or saturday, as a substitute for alcohol.

I think it's incredible because it makes me loose as hell + very social, especially around girls...maybe not as much as being wasted would, but you're more composed.

About 50% of the time, I do get mild side effects including upset stomach and perhaps anxiety 2 days later...but never intense nausea or stomach churning like you would get from drinking too much

If I was going to take something like this, I'd save it for special ocassions.

Like getting custom suited-down G Manifesto style and popping into a high-end club on a night you know it'll be full of magazine models or beauty queens or some other type of trophy-ass because of some big event - or maybe at a Playboy mansion party. Popping it on a first date with a 9 or 10, should you be so lucky, that seems like marriage material. Or heading out on the town to land a scorching hot, rich sugar mama!

Doesn't seem worth it just to lower your inhibitions and bang women you would have turned away had you not been taking it...If it works as good as OP suggests, I say use it for your hail mary moments.

I bought some a few months ago after reading this thread. I took it a handful of times at work and definitely noticed an enhanced focus. It wasn't an over-the-top sort of feeling like I've gotten from taking something like Adderall. Just an overall clearness to my mental processes.

I can't comment on lowered social inhibitions as I didn't pay much attention. I only used it when my job was very busy.

Well it's been about four months since I've used Phenibut last. I've lost most of my initial excitement over it. Wonder drug it is not. In total, I used it about 5 times, but I've revised my position on it. Here is why:

For one, the near week long side effects didn't seem healthy or worth it. (although cannabis can helps offset them)

Second, even with "occasional" (1-2 weeks in between ), use my tolerance still seemed to go up and the positive effect seemed to lessen each time. I learned that Phenibut is suspected to permanently modify your brain GABA receptors. So it does not appear to be something that can be taken long term..even with breaks in between. However I do plan to give it some time and wait maybe 6 more months to test the theory.

Lastly, I've experimented with other "game enhancing supplements" which seem better/healthier than Phenibut. This includes standard nootropics and drugs like Ritalin/Adderall.. I will start working on a post about this in the near future...unless someone else beats me to it, in which case I'll contribute with what I know.

However on the plus side for Phenibut, the stated risk of addiction/dependence was not at all an issue. I did have a blast with it the first few times. But more importantly I believe that I was able to internalize some of the lessons and experiences that I had while on it..which led to overall better social interactions later on...

Tried it last weekend for the 3rd time. The first two times I didn't feel much, maybe felt just a little unusual, but the third time it worked.

Took 700-800 mg when I woke up on Saturday before eating or drinking coffee.

Saturday afternoon, went out on a date with a new chick from a web site. I think I was much more confident and talkative than usual, so I guess it went alright. Wasn't really going for a bang, because we both live pretty far from the place where we met. Unfortunately, we live pretty far in almost opposite directions, so I haven't called or texted her since and I don't know if I will.

Saturday evening, got a text from my buddy and met up with him. He called a couple of more guys and we hit a few bars. I am usually quiet and introverted even when I drink, but that time I was super talkative and confident, cracking jokes like mad, not even worrying that English is my second language. Joked around with some chicks, too. Me and my buddy got drunk and hit on a couple of chicks, but I was more trolling than trying to get laid - even forgot their names and joked about it with my buddy in front of them before trying to invite them to my place for drinks. I think their ghetto looking male friends/bf's were somewhere near and noticed, but luckily, my buddy and I didn't get any problems. Anyway, no bang, but lots of fun.

On Sunday, I met up with my regular FWB, helped her move some furniture around, then we both came to my place. Apparently, Phenibut was still working. I was talking to her pretty much all the time about all kinds of shit. Usually, we're both quiet and talk very little to each other. Got a bang, but she's my regular, so I guess it doesn't count.

I'm interested to hear more about this. However, if you're concerned about the long-term negative health effects of Phenibut, I am not sure why you would start using Ritalin and Adderall. Addy is like meth for your body...from what I understand, it's terrible for you.

Recently I've been taking Piracetam along with a choline supplement, and I've been feeling more energy, more talkative, and much more clearheaded than normal - brain feels overall more sharp.

I just ordered Aniracetam as it supposed to be similar to Piracetam, but with added anti-anxiety effects.

I will hopefully post more about this in the future if the results continue to be positive.

I am not sure there are any long term health effects of Phenibut. "They" say that there aren't but that doesn't mean there aren't any. There are plenty of drugs that were once deemed safe by the FDA, only to be recalled later. My personal view on this is that your body is resilient and does a reasonably good job of recovering from occasional abuse. Whether its getting wasted with alcohol, or using some other substance moderation coupled with education is the key..

From what I understand, Adderall is meth. I read (on the internet) that it was approved by the FDA so that Wall Street types could have a legal way to work long hours and stay focused.

For me, Ritalin/Adderall are substances to be used sparingly. However they can be good. I've found that they are great for days when you are exhausted. Adderall in particular is longer lasting. I believe it lasts 12 hours if you get the extended release version. It has worked well on days where I was doing some exhausting activity during the day, then going out at night afterwards. It also somehow prevents you from getting too drunk (until it wears off, then you become instantly drunk).
Ritalin is shorter lasting and has worked well for me on days when I when I was exhausted from work or partying the night before, but didn't need all-day energy.

I have experimented with Theanine+ Caffeine. It seems to work somewhat, but not to the level that others are reporting, I don't think I found the optimal dosage (and caffeine/theanine ratio) yet for me.

My current favorite is modafinil. It is believed to be fairly safe. I use it about twice a week. It gives me crystal clear thoughts and lets me find all the right words when speaking. On the down side, it is not good to take with caffeine and alcohol. However I have drank alcohol while using it and I didn't notice any negative effects..

I have some Piracetam+Choline, but haven't really used it. Maybe someday..

Just looked on Amazon, no Phenibut available. Where can I buy it (legally, of course) in pills? I still have a lot of powder left, but I want to take it on my next trip, so pills would be better because they look less suspicious to airport security.

This drug is typically used to treat PTSD...seems a bit dangerous to take. I am looking for studies on it but am seeing studies on PubMed stating that withdrawal symptoms can cause psychosis as a side affect.

Does anybody know if it's safe to bring Phenibut on the plane with you without a prescription? I'd like to take it to Indonesia next time I go there. Penalties for drug smuggling there are severe, so don't want to take any risk even if it's just a dietary supplement.

I can't find any info at all on the legality of phenibut in Indonesia. However some OTC drugs or totally harmless natural substances are completely illegal in some countries. For example something as simple as pseudoephedrine is illegal in Japan. In Dubai even Poppy seed muffins are completely illegal, as if you could get high off a poppy seed muffin.

In a country like Indonesia i'd say its totally not worth the risk man. Weigh it up... you get through customs with it and get to enjoy some phenibut there... or you don't get through, turns out it's illegal and your facing at least a fair amount of time in a foreign prison.

You guys should just meditate. It changes your brain chemistry in a natural and healthy way. The results take time as they are cumulative - add up over time. But once you've been doing it a few months (weeks?) and go off of stimulants like coffee and nicotine you become very chill. Your anxiety goes away. And your approach anxiety turns into approach excitement. Why? Because you are now able to look at your anxiety/excitement, like a ball of energy, rather than being consumed by it like a fire.

Try it out for yourself before you f*** with your brain chemistry.

To meditate just sit quietly and feel your body. Let thoughts pass through you. Let go of what meditation is supposed to be. Breath.

If you can't meditate its because you live in fear. Address the fear.

As for Phenibut, I have only taken it a few times over the past 6 months. This is not something I would ever take regularly, but the bar/club environment is too intense for me in my natural state, so I have to take something to be on the same wavelength with other people so to speak. I usually just drink when I go out, but the problem with alcohol is that I often get drunk and stupid before I reach the point of losing my inhibitions. Phenibut helps me become more social and not drink too much at the same time. I guess another alternative would be real drugs like ecstasy, cocaine, etc, but I definitely don't want to go that route.

More than most drugs, the effects of phenibut vary widely. I can take 2gs three times a week, including the occassional Fri and Sat, without any ill effects.

For me, drinking def enhances the effects to a point. I read through the entire thread and agree with another poster that for me at least alcohol enhances until BOOM, you cannot walk straight or stand.

I also agree that it is similar to a low dose of molly. Enhanced mood, talkitiveness, and music sounds great. I generally have anxiety that is removed when taking 2g. Ill bump music and enjoy the sound without unnecessary worrying (like, "can people hear this?", "is the music too loud?" etc. It blocks unnecessary and detrimental mental feedback, which is why, imo, phenibut is not as useful for people free anxiety.

Brain chemistry is a very interesting. For some reason I dont get hangovers from it unless I drink a shit ton that would make me hungover anyway, and then it makes it worse.

I wish we lived in a world where I could just get a "molly cocktail" instead of alcohol, so take my words with a grain of salt.

I've commented on this before, but in my opinion, this stuff is a legal version of MDMA. For those who haven't experienced it yet, it's a two day experience, the first day is the main show, the second day, you'll probably be confused because you feel "normal", but you're still fucked up, so you're mentally trying to recover, but in actuality you're still trippin'.

Try to have sex on day one, you'll be a monster, and it will feel incredible.
