A lot of the pluses of living in America come down to money. Without money in America your a nobody, I find this attitude more in America than anywhere else.
Christ I have seen guys in other countries who would be considered losers in America (Canada) get decent girls on a regular basis.
People in Eastern Europe want to come to America based on what they see in Hollywood movies, which we know tends to show the very wealthy or the very poor.

It doesn't take much effort to become an English teacher in China. There's a whole industry built around managing teachers' accommodation and working arrangements. A lot of them do it because they like the nomadic lifestyle, so they usually stay in each country for up to a couple of years and then move somewhere else.

And there are a lot of people who can't find work. They entered into useless majors pre-crisis and now have trouble getting employed due to their lack of marketable skills. That's what Occupy Wall Street was all about. I think many of them have only themselves to blame for their situation, but that doesn't change the fact that they're in it.

I think the top 10-20% in terms of game, income and looks in any country will do best to stay where they are at, regardless of country, discounting the top 1% who have fame or upper class connections to jet around the world with the aristocracy.

Why so? Because some things are lost when you travel, you will not have the same social circle, you will not have the shared language, cultural preferences will be different, you will not know the logistics, in short it might take quite some time to get to the same level you're at. Girls abroad might not be able to recognize your status, because displays of status are done differently, all kinds of nuances in dress and behavior won't translate directly.

Just an example, the musclebound jersey shore type or Vegas pool party type, that we europeans see in reality shows won't go over well in many european and asian countries due to simple cultural differences. Likewise, lets say you have a lot of money and show up in Bangkok. Where are you going to go and who are you going to talk to? The social circles of similar status as you had back home, might not be very intersted in taking you in regardless of your status in your own country. Chances are you will date down. I see younger guys with ugly local women all the time, where you know they could do much better in their own country with a bit of effort.

It makes perfect sense to me that the top of guys stay where they are at, if they already get the top girls. What doesn't make sense is the large majority of mediocre guys who could upgrade in countries with less game necessary.

Cool. What you have to say about women is relevant enough to listen to, then, in my opinion. I can be a bit picky (as long as I'm sober - drunken BB is fucking shameless); if women find you somewhat attractive, you can afford to be, so go ahead and be picky. But if not, might as well still get laid. I've always respected men who just got out there and pursued something, regardless of what others thought.

And I've known many a player who always had a different mediocre bitch on is arm. He's still always had a bitch on his arm - so is he any less a player?

I mean, I may apply that knowledge as a filter on certain subjects - but for me this is a conversation platform for men who enjoy a variety of women, and for the most part I'm not going to throw a hissy fit and scream "OMG don't listen to him - I saw him with a 6 one time!"

Not to mention that it's all relative anyways; we all have different tastes, thankfully. It's also relative to the environment you're in. Essentially, you put a man with a sex drive in any group of women, and his tastes are going to adjust to the options available to him.

Spend enough time in a room where the 6 is the hottest thing going, for instance, sooner or later you are going to start flirting with her and thinking about banging her. Send a guy who "doesn't like Asians" to Asia (that was me when I arrived), and sooner or later he will have the fever.

In my experience, this is just how men have always worked. We're hard-wired to desire the women who are available to us.

A lot of people don't claim in the country they are living in (if working online). They just work on the low and claim back home.

In most places, this is fairly easy to do and authorities look the other direction. As globalization continues, though, I imagine that it'll become more difficult to do so.

I haven't looked into the laws, but there must be ways to set it up so you only pay tax in one country. Paying taxes in two countries doesn't seem realistic. Many do business abroad for tax benefits, so it wouldn't make sense if that was the case.

I hear Singapore is an awesome place to set up a business and if you license your biz there but do business in another country, you don't pay them taxes.

Someone in the know is more than welcome to chime in because I honestly don't know what the fuck I'm talking about. haha Maybe a new thread?

There's an exception for the first ~$99k if you're an employee. For other kinds of income and for amounts in excess of ~$99k, there are double-tax avoidance treaties with many countries, so you get a credit to use against your US tax bill for any foreign tax paid.

So, for example, if you paid 13% in Russia and you owe 20% in the US, you can claim treaty benefits for the 13% and then you only need to pay 7% to the IRS.

Another example, if you paid 30% in Sweden but only owe 20% in the US, you can claim treaty benefits for the whole 20% and you would owe nothing to the IRS.

Others in this thread (like me) are not Americans, but have similar thoughts about the women in Canada, UK, Australia, etc. Other nationalities don't have the same problem with worldwide taxation. It's only Americans, Belorussians and a few third-world dictatorships.

You only have to pay U.S. taxes if you're bringing in over 80k a year or something overseas.

You have to report all your overseas bank accounts to the U.S. government. There are many ways around this though.

If you own your own business or real estate overseas which earns you income technically you have to report all that. That's easily avoidable too.

Yes, up to 99k is not taxable. It's called Foreign Earned Income Exclusion (FEIE). It only applies to "earned income." http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/What-is-Earned-Income%3F

Non-earned income (eg. rental property income) is not covered by the $99k exclusion, but you can still use tax treaty benefits.

Basically, you would never pay more than the US rate because of the tax treaties. Girls like me in the USA. They like me in Thailand. I've always done well with girls. I left the US because it's routine for me. It's my home. Not because I couldnt get laid.

Partying, drinking, fighting, fucking, whatever. That was their way of life. Living in the now for excitement and new adventures.

I moved to Thailand for exactly the same reason my dad went from city to city, to find excitement.

I'm of the same opinion as Rio. I'll be leaving not because of the woman but for the experience. Earn my dough here in the States for a year or two out of college as an engineer while picking up a language during my time in college and afterward than live in a foreign country for the experience working for an Anerican company or starting my own business. At some point in the US age is a factor. Consider being abroad as a chance to extend your ability to attract 18-25 year olds. But theres more to it than that. I find myself much more interested in the woman I date abroad. They have very different yet interesting perspectives and experiences. Many have better manners. I get an intellectual challenge from attempting to converse in another language. I also get to experience cultural things that I would never experience in Canada.

In life the material things bring short term happiness what is import are the experiences many of which are priceless. I view money as nothing more than a tool to provide me experiences.

My #1 goal right now is to make money so I need to stay in the US. I just noticed a lot of other posters talk about leaving this country so they can find "good women" and it doesn't make sense to me. So I live in LA, have a japanese girl at the moment. Total fob, but oh so cute. I really can't remember the last time I haven't had a FOB asian girl in the wings. I've had a few- thai, japanese, cambodian, vietnamese, chinese, taiwanese, etc etc etc. Plus the usual assortment of black, mixed asian-white, mexican, white girls.

Its possible to have USA money and foreign women if you structure your life properly.

That being said, I'd love to jet-set and travel more, but the money situation ties me down (for now). Traveling is way more than just girls. I love the idiosyncracy of living like a local- eating street food, swooping foreign girls, walking to the stores and gawking at all the weird shit, struggling through languages, battling hustlers and scammers.

Novelty > consistency. Just like swooping 10 7s gives me more pleasure than swooping a 9.
