There might be a troll that says it's better to be masculine even if it's not getting you laid kind of troll.

I guess the larger description for this troll is that he tells you to focus on one thing, and all that other stuff is noise- he's the "holy grail" troll, or the one-size-fits-all troll. He's usually right that his thing works, but puts down all other approaches as superfluous or even detrimental.

Attention whoring, or selling his personality on the forum.. it's his way, or the highway.

Junk-Thread Troll has been active in the past 24 hours in addition to big baller troll.

However they all fall under "sleeper cell troll".....open an account, lay it dormant then start trolling via Big Balling or starting junk threads.

I'd like to add to this discussion what I consider the most annoying forum troll. I call him:

CONTEXT-DROPPING TROLL

Basically, this troll takes a statement out of context and then writes a response to the post in the context he makes up. Here's an example:

ME:
Miami University is located in Oxford, Ohio. They used to be called the Redskins, but now call themselves Red Hawks. They have a good football tradition there. They travel to Tallahassee to play Florida State on Saturday. FSU is going to kill Miami.


TROLL:
Quote: FSU is going to kill Miami.

I don't think so. The Miami Hurricanes also give FSU fits. I'll take Miami over FSU.

In summary, the troll took one statement out of context and then responded to it in a different context. In this case, he changed schools. Observe that the troll is so obsessed with making the other poster wrong that he changes context to do it.

I've seen this dozens of times, and it's always super annoying.
