I don't know if it's just my imagination but I've gotten several matches with girls who I don't recall ever right-swiping, because when I look through their picks I'm thinking, "why would I have right-swipped this chic, she's not even attractive at all." I'm wondering if Tinder just sends you a random match every now and then even if you guys didn't both click on each other's profile so that you stay interested in using the app? Anyone else notice this?

Also, for the guys who are worried about swiping wrong: if you delete your profile and start it back again, apparently you restart all your matches. Girls who have swiped left for you will see you again, so change your pic or try something different.

I do this once every few days or weeks when things are stale and the results are great.

You're right, of course. I've noticed a sharp divide between under 25 and above 25. I will refrain from using it going forward. Sad to see how much less fun women have as they age though...

Beyond the obvious physical reasons, that's also why I prefer way younger women. They are just more fun, pleasant and easy-going.

Ive had good conversations with ambunch of chicks but ultimately they flake after trying to set a meet up. I'm going less cocky/sexual over a longer period of time to err how that works. One thing I've noticed is all the girls are from other cities. It might affect my matches but I have a chick who might come up from the states this weekend.

At least in my area I'm having success with less sexual flirting. One thing ive been using is finding something in common with her and then saying ""whens the wedding". As opposed to saying something like "lets drink tequila and make out"

Why would you swipe yes to girls you wouldn't bang? Don't waste your time...? Just swipe the ones you would and some of the marginals ones... then when you match check them out more closely.

just wanted to say the best advice i got was to get the number ASAP. if you get a positive response after opening line, asking for a number the next has been working for me.

typically i say the app sucks and tell them to give me their number. I've picked up 2 in the past two days, I've been stunned by results.

My guess too. Yesterday the first 5 or 6 I swiped where matches right away.

I got tinder today and for some reason can only go for girls between 13-17, (I think it looks at your fb age) so I don't have a very big pool (only girls 16 and 17) and the girls that young wont be keen to meet at bars etc. Also, new girls ran out after only 10 swipes and it said that there were no new people in the area. I'm going to email tinder and see whats up.
I'll post updates on here, so far gotten two matches, I'll speak to them tomorrow.

Vicious. I live in NYC as well, and I also find OKC to be far better than Tinder.

Sure you can def meet girls off Tinder, but I find it to be more of a game than anything. Neither myself, or girls seem to really take it seriously at all. Okc girls seem to have a bit more investment. Perhaps it's the more expansive profile?

Thanks for the tip, whoever came up with it. Getting their real number to text them has worked for me as a good flake defense.

Also, what I'm noticing is that even if you get a match, it almost means nothing unless the girl hits you up first. If I hit up a match first she either doesn't respond or it dies out within a few texts. I guess the same rule applies with OKC/POF.

I'm not sure if I agree with this 100%. The only girls who have ever messaged me first on tinder were either:

1. Hideous
2. Extremely Fat
3. Advertisements for the TV Show Suits (which is an awesome show)

They were all equally offensive and blocked instantly.
