2 years until they filed, 3 years fighting the case. Got it dismissed, but that was an expensive and miserable 5 years of my life.

I checked a couple of other things on SoundCloud (DJ sets) and they were down, too.

Do you have any excerpts online from your Alpha Playboy book?

I was just thinking of having Chris from GLL on there. He's in the LA area and would be a great fit for the show.

As for having other RVF members on there, I don't know if that's a great idea unless they're pretty big in their own right. Guys like Mike from Danger & Play and Elliot Hulse (on a future show) have a following in their own right and will help McQueen with building a broader audience (which I'm assuming is the goal). While it would be cool to hear from other forum members, from a marketing perspective it wouldn't be beneficial.

GLL would be good for sure. I'd agree not too many RVF members need to be on the show, but I think Gio would have a lot of value to add.

Ep 5 was cool, but I think Ep 4 is still the best so far. That whole Hilary Clinton and tranny president part was too funny.

McQueen I'll def grab a copy of your book, just by listening to the podcast you can tell you're fucking high on life.

I actually like the chemistry because their personalities and game is different. Mcqueen is the asshole alpha while Dagonet is the sentimental man who prefers relationships. I think most guys will identify with Dagonet. He grounds the show while Mcqueen goes for the laughs and locker room angle.

I agree. It's very Vinny/Pauly D.

Whipping up on dagonet the entire time gets old to me. Its beyond joking, and is demeaning.

Mcqueen you got a great voice and command - but you gotta let people talk more...you talk over everyone.

First, the show is great. But, have to agree with reaper here...I think it's fine and necessary for guys to talk shit to each other, but as a schtick/running joke, you need to be a little bit more sparing with it. Otherwise it a) puts Dagonet in a bad light and b) is an indicator that you have no other original material. On the other hand, Dagonet also needs to find something to rib on McQueen...for example, his inability to pronounce words is an easy one to go after. Smile Towards the second portion of the show I was starting to be consciously aware of how much McQueen was using the gay thing, and I don't think you ever want your audience to think that way about anything.

I don't see it that way.

I see mcqueen with an asshole-bigbrother persona. He may be a dick sometimes but you know you'll always have some crazy times together and he'll always have your back.

In regards to dagonet, I like his character as well. Comes off as a humble guy with his shit together.

sometimes is good and funny. from my perspective, as the asshole/big brother type myself - it was too much.

otherwise, i think mcqueen is a natural at this and has some potential. with some refinement a show on XM could be possible

RE: The Christian McQueen Show Suggestions/Comments
I agree with reaper and Menace that the clowning on dagonet seemed to be getting carried away and even somewhat contrived in the latest episode - understandable given that you guys are still getting warmed up. More balance needed (and if I was him I'd be getting a bit irritated lol). The dynamic is cool but I'd just be careful about carrying it too far.

Other than that, I feel like the personalities make a great contrast.

There was also a lot of interrupting, from both Dagonet and Mqueen while someone was still finishing their point about something. It happened in the previous episodes too but not quite as much. Banter is good but there were a few good points being made and I was anxious to hear the end of them before they were cut off.

Anyhow, this is only meant to be constructive criticism - I honestly think this show has huge potential and agree that Mqueen especially has some real natural talent for this. Obviously there'll be some growing pains before you completely find your voice and flow.

As soon as I saw the latest was live, I went right over there and checked it out. Really solid stuff and looking forward to this week's.

Yes, the criticism should be kept in context: this is great entertainment, and finding something that works right from the start is pretty rare. The raw talent is there, and what really needs to be done is just more effort in polishing the delivery; content is already on point. Should be readily doable. I also vote for el mechanico.

Another entertaining show. I'll just add that I think you should have the listener questions you'll answer mostly agreed on beforehand and in front of you on screen or on paper..it will sound more professional that way.

If only you knew how bad things really are.

I agree on all points, the picking on Dagonet is funny but is was getting a bit to much in the last episode.

And yes the interrupting was really noticeable.

I've only listened to 1 episode of this show - the last episode with mikecf/danger & play. it was great. please have him on again.

as for the dynamic between mcqueen & dagonet, mcqueen was ripping into his co-host so hard and I was shocked how the latter just sat there and took it. if this were a comedy act then fine, but this is supposed to MANosphere radio. how can dagonet call himself a man when he takes so much abuse? what a little bitch.

Whoa, slow your roll, Man. Dagonet is a member of this forum and that's not how we do it here.

McQueen rips on him because they're friends and they're putting on a show. Guys fuck around like that. You, meanwhile, don't know him, so have a little respect.

You have an opinion and want to offer feedback? That's great.

But this isn't reddit or Facebook where you straight up insult men you don't know.

They are just horsing around. They are joking. That's what "real men" do who aren't insecure about their masculinity. Dagonet has a good sense of humor. Manosphere doesn't have to be all fire and brimstone. Men can also be funny and sensitive or whatever. In comedy there's usually a "straight man" and a "wild" one- like Seinfeld and Kramer.

What I would like to hear are some actual in-field audio examples of you guys spitting game. Either separately or together.

This reminds me of an episode of Eastbound and Down where Kenny gets heat for not standing up to the Wild Card Dontell on the sports talks how Sportsesh.

Dagonet, take some notes, this is how you handle a wildcard like McQueen

We are all good friends in real life, so it might sound like there are too much interruption or that Dagonet is getting picked on, but if there were film you'd see us laughing our asses off and handing off mics/giving a signal showing that it's ok to interrupt.

First off, chill on the name-calling. Dagonet is a very close friend of mine and business partner on multiple ventures. The last thing he is, is a "little bitch".

At the end of the day, the show is entertainment and everything we do on there is for a specific reason. I would take a bullet for him, so let's not get it twisted that it's a power play or needless bashing.

Like Soup said, men joke with each other, especially those who are fond of each other.

MikeCF stated it clearly as well. We're all friends and it's all in jest.

As far as it being a MANosphere show, it's a show for men, whether they have heard of the Manosphere or not. In fact, the more the show is heard outside of the manosphere, even better, because then red-pill views can be shared and grow among the men who have not had exposure to them.

We appreciate the support and are doing our best to bring kick-ass content to all of our loyal listeners.

Elliott Hulse is our guest this week and we expect to bring a dynamite show packed with quality, practical content.

I was definitely entertained.

The show will get better each week as these guys get a chance to fine tune their style.

I thought Mcqueen was high on coke there for a few minutes, which is fine with me, I know a lot of comedians, actors, and personalities use coke for creative purposes.. Maybe he was just high on life or Monster energy drink..?

The humor between him and Dagonet is a good. As with all weekly shows, the challenge is new material, new jokes, etc.

Mikecf had some interesting things to say..

He suffers from "blackout rage", considers himself a "depraved person", and was molested as a kid!

I would have liked to hear more discussion about these issues and how they currently effect Mike's game and life, but that's just my personal preference.

Respect for doing something that few men have done.

^ I wasn't personally molested as a kid (though I'd have no problem admitting it, since one should never feel shame for something someone else did to you). I was saying that many men in touch with me have been (often by older women).
