And like people have been saying you don't need to do "Game" just go there with a positive attitude and have energy, you're already different by just stepping foot in Funky Villa vs. the broseph who's on a lads nite out in Khao San Road.

Slim is okay, but its a bit more pertinacious and they prefer Asian men a lot more. The rest of the none hooker Thai clubs, you would have a very small conversion % rate, compared to route 66.

Ps if your not using Thai friendly, your doing something wrong.

Good site. Laying in bed nursing a hangover from RCA now. Hooked up with a sexy little hotel receptionist, only to get cock.blocked by her friend on the way to the taxi. Then hooked up with a much less cuter girl at 3am, but it was 3am so fuck it, and her mom called her and she went home lol.

c-blocked? Interesting, did you pay her friends attention too? I don't think I have been c-blocked in Thailand by a girl, the girls are pretty welcoming. But whenever I go and join a table, I make sure to be NICE to everyone and give every equal attention, while making it obvious to the girl I like, that i like her.

A pro tip for RCA is, around midnight to 2am, go around table to table, getting as many numbers as you can, I mean as many, sometimes in a given night ill get 12. The next day or so you start messaging them, filtering out the fuglies to the ones who are interested. You will be surprised at how many of the girls numbers you got will be there next week , and every other week on that same day.

Some girls only visit certain clubs, for whatever reason, can dicsuss that later if anyone wants. So now you have been messaging these girls say on and off for a week, a bit of trust and "oh he a nice guy" thing has been building up in her eyes.. Next week at RCA, during early hours, you go up and say hello, how are you, mention some after club you may be going too and if they want to join, usually 1 or more of the girls you been messaging from last week will say yes. (easy score after that).


Then again during midnight-2am, you do the same again and get a heap load of numbers. come 2am, the girls you been messaing last week, grab one of them to the next place you are hitting. Job done.

Then repeat that each week. Works best at RCA, route 66. Thong lo/Ekkamai and other places it wont be as easy to do this. The key thing is when you do meet any girl you messaged at the club the following week, to spend as little as possible with her during the start, as you will be making leads for the following week, and who the hell really wants to speak to thai girls??? then as the night gets older, they all get drunker, easy to take them back.

spent 1 year, all of it in Bangkok.

About 1 minute, don't want to stay any longer and give some of there friends the "shits".

Chances are someone on the table wont want you there. Ill say hello, how are you, cheers the table with my glass and smile at everyone, if there is a LB there, id maybe talk to her for a few seconds. Gives the impression that im just a friendly guy and gain confidence from the table.

Its not like in England, where you get a glass of beer in your face and a f*** off pal for asking for a number. They are just friendly, and they have that whole thing of not wanting you to make you feel bad if they say no. So don't always expect messages the next morning when you send them a hello.

This wont work anywhere as near as well in any other club in Bangkok, other than Route 66 then maybe slim, depending on your looks and moves. Not much point doing this in any after hours, because the strike rate there for a western is usually lower (assuming you are going to none hooker after hours). I am taking this from a sample size of around 20-40 western males friends I have, who maybe go out 3-4 a week in Bangkok, and all lived there longer than me, and based on my own clubbing experiences of Bangkok.

Correct execution of this tactic is vital, I have seen some people mess it up, purely by using wrong approaches when at the table.

It wont help for Whatsapp, but in case you have an I-Phone get yourself the app I-Phone blacklist - essential tool for every foreigner in Thailand. Sms and even calls dont come through anymore, but will be stored secretly inside the app. After installing it on my phone all girls were blacklisted and I did not have to fear anymore someone calling while sleeping or showering and my gf yelling: That bitch X just called you. Haha!!!

Anyway I never understood, why girls allow their thai bfs to officially have a mia noi, but this right never can be claimed by farangs.

Its not so normal for a farang, I think one reason is because of western movies, the chick flicks, they always end up in a happy story. They get sold the idea that this is what western males are like.

Yeah, not as common as you might think - at least not openly.

Thai women are insanely jealous and controlling over their Thai boyfriends and husbands too - staying faithful is not just something they expect from farang. In many Thai relationships with a player guy, there's always the suspecting and accusing and the hiding and the lying, even if everyone knows what's going on - kind of like a scrappy, full-contact chess game. haha

At least one of my Thai buddies was knifed by his girl in the arm when found out...and this was no bar whore he was dating. A clean and "proper" fair-skinned middle-class beauty from the North. 20 or so years old. A girl that could have easily swooped up another guy if she wanted but instead she wigged and put her man in check. They're married now and I guarantee he still strays when she lets him out of sight and she probably still goes batshit crazy even when he doesn't.

Nights out on the town with Thai couples often end up in screaming fights over the woman getting jealous (though fight often means her screaming at him lol) and I've seen a good handful of these come to blows, from either side.

Also, don't forget that Thailand is the capital of the minced pecker over cheating (the drugged tea, the chop, then dice it up and throw it to the dogs). While not common enough to lose sleep over (Leighton, cough, cough, ahem), remember that this usually happens to Thai guys rather than farang (though that could just reflect the fact that more Thai men exist in Thailand haha). And then you hear the ocassional story of a wife tracking down her husband's mistress and giving her the acid to the face.

Thai men often take huge risks with their frolicking that farang are just less willing to take, partly because another pussy isn't important enough to many of us and partly because Thai men have a much easier time navigating cultural pitfalls and knowing what they can and can't get away with.

As Afarang mentioned, a lot of these girls will look the other way if you at least try to be discreet and not put it right in their face though - saving the fun and games for out of town is always best. The moneyed local guys often manage women from different cities and go on a lot of trips. If you're willing to lie and keep a straight face when under fire, she'll finish her bitching and keep plugging along. She'll even up her game, though she'll start acting jealous more often.

I went and got a new phone and told my girl I lost the other. She was, of course, as suspicious as fuck. Looked over my shoulder for a while when we went out after that expecting to bump into the crazy. My ole' lady was the sweet and innocent type that wouldn't even touch a drop of booze or go out - not to mention tiny - so I felt pretty guilty about putting her in danger.

I agree with a ) however from my experience the good thing is they usually blame the other girl when you cheated on her. I have to admit, quite a few times I could not resist the temptation, although in a relationship.

A relationship with a thai girl is a constant fight - when the girl becomes to sure about you, she gets lazy and tries to dominate the relationship. If they know you have other options aside, the competition against the other girl is on- she must be at least equally beautiful though.

Actually I managed to have a second girlfriend for more than a year. They both knew each other, accidently met once when I was out with friends. At that time quite often I had to lock sleeping pills and booze in the safety box as gf was getting crazy when I went to partying alone. I think learning and trying to understand their culture and believes is one of the biggest challenges and for me one of the main reasons to be living here. I am confused on a daily basis and just cannot get what is going on in their minds. This makes living here really interesting, as it is broading your horizon and gives you a different view on life.

Just talking about girls there are much better countries to live than Thailand (even though the majority of countries is still worse though...).

I disagree that you cannot make real Thai friends. It is just harder than in most countries, but if you really want, then you will make friends.

But as almost everywhere and especially in Bangkok it is not a challenge to live here, as you can just stick to other expats and still enjoy your life here.
