You can’t visit places like Venice, Hollywood, Huntington Beach, or Newport Beach and complain about not seeing hot girls around – I don’t care what time of year. Some of you guys are talking about third-tier towns where people probably don’t even go out during winter as being underrated. A guy in SoCal can just pick a spot and play the numbers game until he gets exactly what he’s looking for. Busty blondes? Salsa-dancing Latinas? Poles who can barely speak English?

SoCal is home to 22 million residents of all backgrounds and receives millions of tourists each year. Is the average girl here as beautiful as in Moscow and classy as in Paris? Fuck no, but there are more hotties here than you’ll ever be able to meet anyway, no matter how hard you try.

UNDERATED:
S. Korea.
NOT for the girls (many wiser men than me have spoken about Korean girls on other threads). They are hot, but complicated and I didn't do very well there.

But in general, as a travel destination, it's one of the most beautiful countries I've ever visited, yet nobody ever talks about it. The temples, the mountains, the soju, the food, the farms... beautiful.

After 2 months there I went to Japan (one of my childhood dreams) and was very dissapointed by the place. Everything seemed so dull compared to S. Korea... Even the Kyoto temples were much less interesting (and much more crowded) than any Korean mountain temple.

I mean, I still like Japan, but everyone talks about Japan and forgets S. Korea.

OVERATED
Amsterdam: Expensive as fuck, the party is much worse than in many other European cities. Many medium cities in the world have better nightlife and cities like Berlin or Copenhaguen are much wilder, with less drunk teenage brits, cheaper booze and less touristy shit.

Also, the weed is not even a reason to go there anymore. You can find cheaper weed in almost any Southern European country, so if that's your party plan just go to Italy or Southern Spain, you can get it for half the price. I don't smoke (Although I do know lot's of people who smoke) so take this last opinion with a grain of salt.

I've been there many times in the last months because I now live in a smaller Dutch city, and I still don't get all the hype. Everyone should see the Red Light District once in their life, but after that go somewhere else to party. Unless you are into (expensive and sometimes overweight) hookers.

You are correct about a lot of hot girls in southern California (and in the areas that you mentioned), and probably amongst the hottest girls in the world in terms of numbers of hot girls.

On the other hand, your post is NOT without its controversy.

In So Cal, there tend to be a lot of bitch shields, too, which can take away from "hotness" and that is the reason that So Cal is frequently described as overrated. The longer a girl is in So. Cal. the greater likelihood that she is going to have a large bitch shield, yet tourist may be a good target, as you mentioned.

There are mixed reviews about So. Cal, and if you read through the Los Angeles thread you will see quite a few guys expressing frustration with gaming in So. Cal. - even though some guys do seem to have success (and give props to So. Cal).

Below this crust of hot upper class girls in the surrounding cities and Huntington you get into semi-white trash, bad tattoo/piercing bro-hoes that love MMA and dirtbike guys with soul patches and sleeve tatts.

These cities are local cliquish cities that do not attract many transplants. Many people run in the same small circles their entire life that stay and do not leave for LA or elsewhere.

The average hot Orange County girl is into:
- The Angels (baseball team, they are fucking fanatics for some reason)
- Country Music
- The River (wake boarding, off-roading)
- Guys with lifted pick up trucks and flat brim black baseball hats that wear nothing but the colors of black with some white lettering and trim
- Money $$$
- Many still hang with their same high school social group

Just giving a disclaimer to any who think Newport / Huntington are pussy paradises...

I got the same vibe in north county SD when I owned a house there for 5 years, but it seems like more transplants there than OC and people are generally more open and friendly around Encinitas, Solona, Del Mar, etc. Newport seems like for an outsider a pretty lonely place, and the beach gangs and skinheads in Huntington make it totally unattractive. San Clemente for some reason seems much more chill and more like SD.

^^ Regarding Southern California, for a guy who is at least a bit cool or stylish I would skip Orange County completely and stay in LA. The same goes for South Bay or the Valley. Stick to basically anywhere Sunset Blvd runs from the ocean to where it turns into Caesar Chavez. You can pick whatever flavor you prefer whether it's Brentwood preppy or Hollywood douche or Silverlake hipster. Orange County may have some cute girls running around but proper Los Angeles is a far more dynamic place where you can leverage being an interesting guy a lot more effectively than you can in Orange County. Yes people who live near the beach in Orange County tend to be fit and tan and rich, but they are soooo boooooring.

Buy yourself a cowboy hat and head over to Cowboy Country in Long Beach tonight. I used to think country was crap until I went to this country music club and had my mind blown. It seems to consistently bring one of the best girl to guy ratios around. The most overrated country I've been to is Brazil.

-The highest crime level I have ever seen, and I've been to a number of shitholes around the world. At night, you walk around and feel unsafe pretty much everywhere, even if there are cops nearby.
-Language barrier makes it very difficult to meet girls outside of the upper class circle in Rio and Sao Paulo. In that circle, you'll get makeouts in nightclubs but make sure the hotel/hostel doesn't cockblock you if you try to bring somebody there. I failed spectacularly in Rio because of that.
-While the girls are beautiful, their beauty is overrated I would say. Russian/East European girls are just as beautiful on average, probably even more. The hottest Brazilian girls, though, are super hot.
-The country is pretty expensive, though it's somewhat cheaper now given the currency depreciation. Flights and taxis cost a lot, for example.

The most underrated country I've been to is Indonesia. I'll leave it at that for now, don't want to advertise it too much or it might become another Thailand.

Cowboy Country opened in 1999 and I had never heard of it either until around six months ago. A friend who had been going for years also mentioned InCahoots in Fullerton if anyone around there is interested.

I don’t want to hype up these country music clubs since I’m still new to this, but I and my friends have consistently been very happy with the female situation – I’ve always gone on Saturday nights btw. In random alleys surrounding Lapa, it felt a lot more dangerous (walking with a small group too) than the police fortified favelas I visited in Rio. Of the big Brazilian cities I visited, felt scared in Rio and Porto Alegre whereas Belo Horizonte & Curitiba were more manageable.

Social circles are everything in Brazil meaning short stays will make it that much tougher if the objective is SNL. Most Brazilian gals will also prefer guys A) in their social circles, B) make good money, C) speak Portuguese natively of course, D) come from good families, and unfortunately E) are in a similar age range making it harder for guys 35+ being biggest obstacle. There are of course ways around that as I did get lucky in Curitiba and Porto Alegre though 3 days in Belo Horizonte and 6 days off peak in Floripa were simply not enough for me.

I was also lucky to get an academic grant for an intensive (might I add pricey) Portuguese class before heading to Brazil in my trips. I planned to visit Brazil in 2007 without any Portuguese knowledge, but then delayed it till about 2011 due to family issues. Had I visited Rio in 2007, good chance I would have never gone back because English speakers are really non-existent not to mention hottest chicks speak only Portuguese.

Many hotels and hostels indeed will not allow guests. If you go out early while staying in a hotel, the staff might be different around 2-4 AM when you bring your conquests back. I was also fined 25 USD next morning in Porto Alegre at my hostel when I brought a chick back to my private room. It happens, which sucks.

Personality, English abilities, and looks wise, I would take EE. If going to the right neighborhoods in Brazilian cities like Sampa, Rio, Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre, etc etc with Portuguese skills and game...man, talent will be amazing. I've heard Sampa taxis are $$. So are Floripa, Rio, and to an extent Porto Alegre. Curitiba and Belo Horizonte cabs are very reasonable though. Combo of bad infrastructure & inefficient public transit despite the European-esque tax rates are one reason why so many Brazilians revolted during the 2013 Confederation Cup. That's where I really empathize with locals along with tourists or business travelers that have visited Brazil in past too.

Overall, I think it's good to mention the cons of Brazil 1st so that aspiring travelers know what they're getting into. Since I am going to be there for personal & professional development reasons sometime in 2014 whenever it is, I feel as if I was built to conquer the unique challenges & therefore embrace the obstacles of that specific environment.

Underrated:
- Nicaragua. Very safe. Cheap place to learn Spanish (1 on 1 lessons are $5/hour). Nice, humble people
- Laos. Cheap and with good food. Rent a motobike and ride from town to town. Some nice mountain and river views
- for the U.S., New Mexico. Breathtaking, visceral skies. Mule Creek in May - go for a long bike ride
- in Peru, Macchu Picchu is well-known but the mountain directly above it, Wayna Picchu, is rarely visited. But it trumps Macchu Picchu and is the most beautiful place I've ever seen. Climb to the top, with the butterflies and the valleys and streams below

Overrated:
- Australia. Australia is definitely a beautiful place. But the people you'll meet are boring. The visitors are generally those who are afraid to visit more dangerous places. The natives (younger generation anyway) have only ever known extreme wealth, and are spoiled and boring. Basically Australia is a victim of its own success. I wonder what will happen when the economy stops booming, it seems like the country is in a bubble like Ireland was before the crisis
- Japan. The girls are hot but fucking weird, and not worth trying to bang. You have to know the language to bang the hot ones, and Japanese is a useless language outside of Japan. Go to China instead, where there are loads of bangable girls who are 10x sweetser, and more interesting (their parents and grandparents grew up among starving people and this humility trickles down, except in Shanghai/Beijing where girls can be pretty spoiled)

Sorry dude, I have to disagree with you about Amsterdam. I have been to Amsterdam twice and I thought it was great.

First, there are a lot of HOT Dutch women, tall, natural blondes are everywhere. They are usually friendly, though hooking up with them for one night stands isn't easy (at least it wasn't for me...but they probably didn't like the fact I was drunk or stoned). Seems what you hate are ugly British chicks. That is understandable. However, Amsterdam, via having such a large % of tourists in any club gives you access to nationalities from all over the world.

Yes, it is expensive, but not much more so than other western European cities. Paris, Stockholm, London, Brussels..any place in Switzerland, etc. If you do some cost cutting measures..such as eating out of an Albert Hejin supermarket once in a while, stay in a hostel, go out of season , etc, it takes the cost way down. I went to Amsterdam for a week and spent 1600 Canadian for everything, including spending money. I didn't find that too bad.

I am not an expert on weed. But I hear that Amsterdam's weed is very high quality shit imported from poor middle eastern countries like Afghanastan. But I think the draw is that it's legal, so it's easy to find and always available and you can meet like minded people in a social setting. (I also know that weed prices in Amsterdam have gone up a lot recently, I just don't know why).

Anyways back on topic.

Overrated - Stockholm. I was really disappointed. I thought there would be high quality women everywhere, with awesome day game opportunities. But I saw very few hot women walking the streets compared to Amsterdam or Krakow. I admit I was there for just 4 days so maybe it was bad luck. But when I read Roosh's recent post about Swedish women being "fat" and overrated generally, I was forced to agree. Other than that, the city makes Amsterdam look cheap. I remember that beers worked out to be about 10.00 -15.00 Canadian dollars at a bar. The food was pretty bad too. I did enjoy the scenery though.

Underrated - I haven't traveled enough to venture off the "beaten path" as much as some of the others on here. But I do have family in St. Louis Missouri in the USA. Those mid-western chicks are hot and friendly.

OVERRATED: Western europe

to me white women have this masculine trait to them that i simply do not like….

i recall being in germany when i was in the army and noticing how they were all blonde with blue eyes but at the same time they're all sort of manly, with big broad shoulders, square chins, no make up, usually obsessed with being vegetarians or ecology nuts, or socialist radicals or some useless crap like that, that caused to really be turned off by them.

then I went to the netherlands (another paradise full of blondes or so they like to say) and fuck they're even uglier!!!! (too tall, too rough, culturally too obsessed with gender roles and feminism and all that crap, plus many are fat)

the UK (God, they're horrible)

and spain, italy (bleeeeh, nothing special, italian women are particularly PAINFULLY OVERRATED) and spaniards they all have that penelope cruz chihuahua face thing going on

the only place in western europe where i found beautiful decent girls was france (and that is because france is a colonial power so its filled with exotic mixes of all kinds, plenty of hot women)

eastern europe is better, but their bodies are often not that great (pancake butts, and age badly like most white women)

so after coming to colombia, i realized that colombian chics is what i like.

Most overrated place I've been to was Indonesia, specifically Bali and Jakarta.

People on this forum seem to RAVE about how good Jakarta is. The city itself fucking sucks. There is absolutely nothing to do other than nightlife (which is decent actually). The food is mediocre, there's no public transportation, and it's extremely hot/humid. The girls are pretty, but nowhere near as hot as other surrounding SEA countries.

Bali was just the worst place I've been to. It's ridiculously hot, the beach is nice but not that nice (nicer than the average beach though, but nowhere near as nice as Ibiza or the Thai islands). The locals are fucking obnoxious, especially the taxi drivers. Kuta was one of the only places in the world where I did not feel safe walking around at night. It's expensive if you're a tourist and don't know anybody. I'll miss Bali like a disease.

Most underrated place: I don't know

Underrated:

- Batumi Black sea resort with lots of gorgeous Georgian and Azeri tail. Easiest way to get there is to fly in to Tbilisi and then take the overnight train. For best results, visit in the summer - off-season the place is dead.
- Košice Slovak girls are among the most beautiful in EE and this is the place to find them.

Underrated :

-Dublin, Ireland. Something about Dublin that just loosens the women right up i got 3-4 notches a week minimum whiles working as a clerk.
There's constant stream of euro-babes who wanna drink Guinness in temple bar or just party there asses of around the more expensive hostels.

Overrated :

- Sydney, Australia . Not getting racial but unless your black or Latin American ( very exotic in Australia) it can be tough to game.

Overrated: Amsterdam, hands down. I mean, it's probably a cool city to visit when you're in your late teens (hey, legal pot! Legal hookers!). But, other than that, it's nothing but a gigantic tourist trap. Expensive as fuck, trashy, overcrowded with tourists and bike riding dickheads. Nightclubs also had some of the worst ratios I've ever experienced worldwide. I surely don't plan on returning.

Over-rated: Ko Phi Phi

I fucking hated my 48 hours on this island. Full of drunk, scuzzy backpackers. No Asian girls in sight. When I went beaches were fucking filthy and the idea of a swim was completely out of the question. Did not live up to it's 'paradise island' reputation.

It honestly felt like being at the Reading Festival in England. Full of kids who've just finished their A-levels and are away from their parents for the first time. ("LADS ON TOUR"). If you're 18, you'll love it, but I personally couldn't get off the island quick enough.

Though credit where it's due, the beach from 'The Beach' WAS beautiful.

(Also, yes, Amsterdam is very over-rated)

Yes it's full of hookers and the absolute dregs of Western society, but I love it.

It's completely dead all day. Then at 6pm a few people start walking around Bangla Road. Then at 7pm a few people start drinking there. Then at 8pm:

BAM!!!!! Drunk Brits, hookers, ladyboys, old men being dragged home by Thai girs, Australian fathers gawking in front of their kids, Arabs in full-face burkas asking 'how much?', young kids being dragged along by their horny parents, fights breaking out in the bars
