RE: Most Overrated/Underrated Place You've Been
Seamus,
It's not much the actual data sheet about clubs/bars etc, that I'm interested in, but the actual stories of interacting with the locals, witnessing every day life, experimenting the wildlife etc. It's not all about the poon, even tough that's important. It might sound blasphemous to some in here, but travel is more than just pussy. Smile Pussy is like the icing on the delicious cake that travel is.

So go ahead, and share with us some of your I'm sure unique experiences in Africa and China.

Those are two very different trips, but each one is awesome in its own right. There's time enough in this life for both, so don't sweat the decision. Did you already go to Colombia or is it coming up?

I think there's probably a lot of truth to this. To be honest I don't hook up much with black girls in the States, but that's more of a cultural divide thing than a physical attraction one. African women are a different entity altogether. They're sweeter, more affectionate, and in my experience quite aggressive. I'm not sure how much was the "white god" factor though, I'd be curious to hear how a black American guy does in Africa.

Lots of older Europeans as a whole like going over there. Not sure how the seen is with more younger guys going there.

I agree with Argentina too.

To be honest, most of the sex tourism I saw was in West Africa, and it was between fat white Western women and jacked young African dudes. Walking down the beaches I would see these couples constantly, 250lb German women walking hand-in-hand with guys who looked like NFL wide receivers. More power to them I suppose, they're all getting something out of it.

I never had a problem in Ethiopia or Kenya, but I don't fit the profile of a sex tourist. If you're young I wouldn't worry about it.

Curious about this as well. I've always loved Ethiopian girls, but generally they are raised is the states with negative views towards Black Americans. I'd love to see what its like for us in the motherland.

RE: Most Overrated/Underrated Place You've Been
Overrated:

SINGAPORE - Restricted, sterile, souless, hot and humid, and a surprisingly conservative stigma towards sexuality. Maybe its one redeeming quality is the food, but you can get better equivalents in their own respective countries of origin. In similar fashion, same goes with the women, you can get better equivalents in their own respective countries of origin.

HONOLULU - My hometown is a pretentious, in breeding, bitch shields of local girls set to max, high concentration of homeless scrubs from the mainland taking shits in the park "paradise." Oh, and did I mention it is crazy expensive? Do yourself a favor, when planning your "tropical paradise dream vacation" just head over to Kauai or Big Island instead. Or at least get out of fucking Waikiki. (with that being said, if you want to plunder the myriad of Korean, Chinese, or Japanese tourists or are into ravaging a whole gaggle of international students then Honolulu is your new home away from home).

Underrated:

GEORGIA - Its cliche to say this, but Georgia literally blew me away. The depth of their cultural identity and extent of their hospitality is just mind boggling. Twice I was invited into the homes of strangers who came up to talk to me because they were just curious about where I was from. Each time I was stuffed with dumplings, cheese pies, and homemade wine until my eyes popped out. The talent seemed to be quite extreme, ranging from utterly homely unibrow to pop a boner upon eye contact hotness. Gaming there is quite complex, the orthodox church is ingrained in their culture. The one Georgian flag I was able to get took a sustained effort over three months and in the end, she ended up getting hymen reconstruction surgery to become a "virgin" again...

SALT LAKE CITY - Most think of Utah and laugh. Mormons, fat families of 6 kids, and low alcohol content aside, its actually a pretty fantastic place, especially if you are into the outdoors. Despite the conservative image, I found women there to be refreshingly open, friendly, and DTF. Of course, I spent most of my time camping and at ski resorts so, I'm not sure how representative it is of what's typical talent there, but there's nothing quite like bathing a mormon girl in holy water in a tent in the middle of Goblin Valley.

Being a black American is golden in Africa, at least in Ghana. Add an automatic 3 points to your SMV.

Most overrated place or places rather for scoring quality pussy as a 'normal' traveler i've visited would have to be the popular European party islands and destinations.

Crete, Ibiza, Mallorca, Cyprus.

I've been to all of them and it's nothing but an entire grand sausage fest.

That said, if you're a high-class baller with connections in Ibiza and are able to throw house parties at a private beachview villa or at least attend them then the story will be different.

Bumping this thread to share a quick blog post from Anthony Bourdain about underrated places.

Quote:UNDERRATED, DOUCHE-FREE DESTINATIONS
Want to go where everybody else is NOT going? Discover things for yourself? Have an adventure? Eat well? No high fiving bros, oligarchs in Speedos, binge drinking soccer fans, tour buses filled with ugly ass leisure wear? These spots, in my experience, offer hope:

His picks: Uruguay, Marseille, Laos, Sardinia, Beirut

I wholly agree about Bourdain, his books are fun, his audio books narrated by himself are great gridlock road trip time killers.

But Bourdain himself and his choices.... Meh.
They paid him for those picks, and I applaud his willingness to whore himself out to the last buck.

He probably has different outlook/priorities in his picks. I doubt anyone in beirut paid him for his pick lol.

You do get the feeling from his tv show here that he felt attached in a way, havent watched many others but i guess hes simply drawing from his experiences when he traveled

Beirut
Budva
Belgrade
Tbilisi
Ayia Napa
Bodrum
Mamaia

Marseille ?

It's the poorest city in France with one of the highest crime rate.
Girls have one of the worst attitude among French cities due to daily harassment, social group mindset and South mentality.

I've been there a couple of time (I'm French) and this is one of the place I hate the most in France. Sometimes, you think you are in a third-world city ...garbage everywhere, it stinks and the city is not safe at all.

I won't talk about english level of people overthere. Must be around 5% of people might understand something.
Better go to Aix-en-Provence, student city nearby.

Just curious but which French city would you say is the best for girls?

I found Amsterdam to be hugely overrated when it came to game. The city isn't that nice, the girls are very distant, and it's rather expensive. Also, you gotta be a tall son of a bitch (I'm six feet and I felt small). The dude's are cool as fuck though, and the canal scene is wonderful. City was a bit of a letdown though-- I don't give a fuck about weed or hookers.

Amsterdam is a great city, just not for gaming. It's not really overrated only because no one ever really rated it highly in the first place.

But, there are a lot of tall and beautiful blondes in Amsterdam. You also get those sexy as hell half Dutch/Half Indonesian women who are generally friendlier than the local Dutch women.

My understanding from reading here and talking to a few Dutch friends I have met is that it takes time to score with the hot local Dutch women. You need a social circle. They don't tend to dislike foreigners but don't find them special.

Amsterdam isn't that expensive compared to London or Paris.

I don't know about underrrated, but overrated for sure Malta: rather than clubs, they're just dance bars, full of teens dressed bad. music is horrible. one of few good beaches is on another small island, and it takes 2 hours to reach it. traffic is very slow, and there's strong air conditioning that makes you sick.

I think we need to differentiate whether people are talking about under & over-rated places for birds only, or under & over-rated places for traveling in general.

Here's my opinion (just regarding travel and not factoring in the quality of local girls):

Over-rated = Playa Del Carmen, Prague, Shanghai, Floripa, Paris, Dubai.
Under-rated = Berlin, Nepal, Cambodia, Laos, Buenos Aires, Vienna, Barcelona.

Barcelona Underrated?

It's one of the most highly regarded, often visited cities in the world.

What makes you think it's underrated?

That's true, good point. I probably should have put it in the "lives up the hype/reputation" category.

I was speaking more about Bourdain and his shows in general rather than Beirut specifically. Plus he has a nostalgic pull to everything French, so he'll always put a spin on former French colonies (ie Beirut & Vietnam).

But it's still a television show.

For what it's worth Beirut is the one ME country I'd want to visit, but Bourdain has nothing to do with that draw.

Overrated here: Prague and Ibiza. With 'Ibiza' I mean the conventional nightlife of Ibiza. Maybe most 'party islands/places' are somewhat overrated.

Underrated here: France, Spain. Yes whole countries are somewhat underrated here in my opinion.

Why is France underrated?

I mean this especially for younger people. France and Spain are full of hot local women (in France they are easier, but guess what, Spain is full of young Frenchies), and they have LOTS of Latin exchange students, that you can game without being bothered by brothers, ex boyfriends etc.

In addition to that, it is much easier to make friends with rich Latin American people as a fellow exchange student or language immersion student (just go to the same parties and bars as them), than in the local countries themselves.

If you later visit them in Latin America you have rich classy social circles!

This forum also fetishizes everything non-Western too much, people on here tend to hear 'Western Europe' and hear 'Western' and think Western Europe is the same culture as North America but that is simply not true.

I still acknowledge the greatness of Latin America and the girls there but test driving for young Americans in Europe is not necessarily a bad idea.

Overrated:

Paris - A cliche wrapped in an overpriced wrapper. A city which benefits from romanticised blue pill fantasies to create 'matrix like' illusion of grandeur for everyone who attends. Any culture the population had en masse during [For example] the 20's has been replaced more or less by the vapid current generation of gold fish attention spans. On the plus side: As an Australian I didn't notice the rude cliche that is repeated routinely.

Underrated:

Sanok [Poland] - A small mountain town of around 40k in the South of Poland. Virtually no obesity, highly feminine, still detached from the quickly westernised Krakow, zero instant rejections, healthy nightlife despite the lower population. The negative: Language barrier can be a problem.
