It could also be called a Tourist tax, not necessarily a foreigner tax. Thais come in groups and always buy bottles. Guys like me who lived there came in groups and also bought bottles, I never had to pay a cover because I bought a bottle.

As always, there is no absolute poosy paradise and men can find a good time in almost any corner of the world.

And even with all the shit Thai guys talk, get them around a hot dark-skinned Thai woman, and they will fuck her and date her too. Of course,the guys with endless options will always pick a white-skinned girl given the choice, but the darkest of Thai birds isn't exactly walking around with an unpopped cherry and short on options either.

True. Maybe I was a bit biased since almost all the sleaziness when talking to Thai women were issan girls. Literally any pale skin girl acted normal while almost 75% of the girls I talked to said they were "working".

Just really changed your reality, at the end of my brief trip I just straight up ignored Issan girls. Really, even the hot ones.

Maybe being a bit bravado, but definitely could get much hotter women here in Taipei (within a couple days) then what I could remotely expect from Thai women.

I understand the bias and have gone through the same thing, but sometimes I think it's tempting to make a lot of generalizations based on limited knowledge of the country. Even the Thai do it so it's to be expected. I'm not familiar with those clubs as BKK isn't really the place I know, but if 75% of the girls were working, it definitely sounds like a low-class club frequented by prostitutes. That's not typical in a regular spot.

I think it's a lot easier to meet quality Isaan women if you actually go to Isaan, as a lot of the ones who leave the area are doing it so they can work the sex trade without being around their families. You will find plenty working in hotels and other bizzes though too. And even in Isaan, the percentage of women who ever work in the trade is pretty small; we get a bias because of the ones we meet in destinations known for that type of thing.

The Thai club scene can definitely be pretentious though - I can certainly agree with that. And the lighter-skinned hotties are not an easy nut to crack. Taipei sounds good, I have heard the women are more open to casual sex, and I've been wanting to check it out.

Rio is right - Also, it depends very much from where in Isaan the girl comes from. Those from the cities closer to the cambodian border Surin, Buriram, Ubon are usually short and dark.

I recommend to visit cities like Udon Thani - many tall and white girls there. Isaan girls are known to be sweet and fun, much more than e.g. girls from South. However nothing beats the sweethearts from the North Chiangmai and Chiangrai.

Many well off thai guys from BKK go there to find suitable girlfriends.

Overall Thailand----> lower quality on average, poorer country, less education, more pollution, easier to bang as a whole.

To be honest, all the fussin' about "Isaan girls", "HiSo girls", "shmiso girls" etc., seems pretty silly and arbitrary to me.

I don't see any reason why if a girl has money (her family, that is) or comes from a poor part of Thailand, how it makes her any more or less bangable. I can see how it might look like they're higher quality girls because they're more unavailable, have more of a princess attitude and move in tightly-knit circles. But I've personally found zero correlation between my enjoyment of a Thai girl and where she's from or how much money she (again, her family) has.

If anything, I like the "simple" country girls best of all. There have been a lot of suggestions here and on other forums that they're somehow inferior and it always annoys me. Country girls are more natural. Was she legitimately hiso, or just rich? Rich doesn't equal HiSo. Not even all famous actresses and models are HiSo. HiSo would be the Paris Hilton type, royalty, some famous actresses, politicians, etc. Bentleys and Lambos.
