I just got on the train myself, and I think you'll find new options to be more desirable. Just using myself as an example, I was in love with a girl 9 years ago. We have been distant friends since high school, and I just so happened to shoot her a message on Facebook around the time I was informing everyone in my social circle that I'm leaving the country next year. Lo and behold, she had JUST broken up with the guy she has been seeing for 10 years. She asked ME out, and I agreed. But almost immediately, I started feeling like I had won a chase that I didn't even remember starting. Called it off and set up a date with another girl.

Also, my best friend dated a girl he was best friends with for three years, and they were friends for 3 years before that. I think you do yourself more harm than good, pursuing people you assume you have a higher connection with than any other random girl. They were on and off for a year, total nightmare for most guys on this forum, I would assume. He thought they were soulmates, and his whole argument for it was that he thinks it is impossible to be such great friends for as long as they were and end up not being meant for each other. He won't even flirt with other girls now because he thinks he is only built for deep relationships.

Long story short, I think there is too much at stake. Sure, you get to bang some girls you have been friendzoned by. I've been there before too. But you risk falling into a trap where new women and new opportunities don't come as easily because, in a way, you are living and gaming in the past.

I don't get your guys' view to move on. It takes like no effort to make a move. The thing with friendship with girls is that you can get into a rut (one which does not involve genital stimulation), and then the introduction of genital stimulation would be a shock to her.

So do something unusual. Go on a fucking trip or something. Or just get drunk together. Make a move. If it works, great. If not, whatever. Crack a fucking joke about it, try again in half an hour, and probably don't see her again if it's a no go. Because you could be kicking it with girls who also fuck and cook.

I get that. I hadn't considered that you're trying to instill the mentality of abundance. But in this scenario, if a move has not been made, why not make it and then forget her if it goes nowhere?

This is what I was originally thinking. So give it one more go and then ditch it? Sounds good what do you have that can work? I personally don't want to regret it. Also I will most likely not be moving into that far of another city and I am gonna come back to town every so often. I currently live in Houston and May be moving to Dallas/Austin and coming back around Christmas and Summer. Guess I should mention what I'm doing currently in order to give you guys a better feel. Currently outgoing high school senior with some decent amount of scholarship money. Relatively well known by most everyone in the school(Homecoming King and people want me to go to prom).

I think I'm the only one saying to give it a go because, in my book, a proper go has not been given yet. i.e. making a move to make out with her and escalate to sex.

What you shouldn't be worried about is regretting it, because either way, you shouldn't regret it. If you don't do anything that you're ashamed of, then her reactions to your actions should not factor into your feelings of self-worth.

On a less philosophical and more selfish tone: You may get to the point where you just don't care enough to have petty regrets. You're young and stuff like this probably seems important. But she'll forget you and you'll forget her and none of this shit really matters at the end of the day, so you may as well get your dick licked in the interim.

Okay, here's what I'd do (assuming you guys are "friends" like you say):
Invite her over to watch a movie. Have flavored vodka and a good mixer (I like Gatorade). Girls will guzzle that shit.

Start the movie after your download that shit illegally and put it on a flash drive. Maybe play a drinking game. Look up popular movies with fun drinking games associated with them.

Drinking game sets a playful mood. Kiss her. I think you can time that one, prom king. Make out for a bit. Take it from there.

Do you guys smoke weed? If you do, do the same shit but turn to her and blow smoke into her mouth, then kiss. hookah, whatever

Anyway, chances are, she goes for it. If not, then you lost nothing in the process.

Edit: Don't have the drinks all set up and shit. Have like 1/4 of the bottle empty and have like a 6 pack of gatorades in the fridge. Have the vodka in the freezer.

Start watching the movie and like 5 minutes in, be like, "I had some people over last night and someone left some drinks."

I was basically in love with this girl in high school who rejected me. it hurt like a mother fuck, also I find out she was having sex with this bum ass dude who got expelled for rolling a blunt in school. I bet a lot of the Roosh V forum members have been scorned by women at some point in they're lives. Its why we try to learn game so we never have to go through shit like that again. Thanks man glad to see there are more people out there like me. My experience was more or less similar except much earlier and I lost my virginity to the whore, but that's another story. I discovered Return of Kings by freak accident and I found out I held a lot of the same sentiments and opinions. I dived in read up a lot of stuff on the forum about game and RoK as well as buying Roosh's books. As well as finding out the fact that I've been going about game(I didn't really have a name for it just flirting) the wrong way as well as seeing some of the stuff I said being found on the forum. It really is refreshing to know I discovered this so early in life.

Okay three major issues.

1-Do not suddenly make a move on a girl who has friendzoned you. She will think you're a creep.

When Alphas make a move, its welcomed with open legs.
When Betas make a move, legs are soldered shut.

The reason folks here are asking you to move on is because there are ~3 billion women on the earth. The energy spent pursuing these women can be better spent pursuing different women who dont already see you as a best friend.

But anyway, assuming you disregard what Shotgun and Sweetpea rightly said, and still want to go chase these girls --

2-Do not suddenly start behaving differently with them - If you've been a beta before, suddenly adopting Alpha mannerisms is not gonna make them swoon for you. They will backward rationalize you as "creepy", and try-hard.

(Imagine if a beta guy who used to wear loafers and low waist jeans suddenly turns up one day in a suit... people are gonna laugh at him...specially other betas).

A lot of people are like crabs in a barrel -- they will pull you down if you overtly try to get out of the barrel.
Also, cognitive dissonance...if people have fixed views about you, and you suddenly turn up and start behaving differently, you are going to be judged as try hard and non congruent.

3- Your best option is to disappear for a while, and then come back guns blazing. Or to gradually start incorporating Alpha mannerisms in your behavior.

Here's a nice pre-Christmas list for you

- shatter those pedestals.
- don't chat all the time
- don't give these females a lot of your time
- appear terse, even irritated by them
- be seen flirting with other girls
- cut them off mid conversation and introduce a new topic
- ignore what they're saying, ask them to repeat themselves
- flake at the last minute
- when in conversation, look at your phone, smirk, get back to the conversation. when they ask what, just wave your hands

Alright 1 and 2 are something I have a better understanding off. I've been doing some parts of point 3 already now due to my personality and hate for people I know in general. I'm usually flaking and not caring about the girls who talk to me(I have exceptions which I guess I gotta do this now with too). I have never ever carried a girl's bags or bought anything over $10 for. The phone bit and ignoring I'll need to work on. I've shattered the pedestals about last year. Also I flake frequently, but that is mainly due to taking care of my little brothers and due to some charity commitments. Thanks for the advice man. Anymore is much welcome.
