I've wondered about this as well. To what degree?

I've always assumed a chick looking at you for longer than a second or doing a double-take is showing interest.

But what if she looks at you and looks away?

My frame of thought here is that I would never make eye contact with an ugly/fat girl as she walks by, and I know she is there. Maybe it works the same for girls; they only make eye contact if they find you attractive.

Yeah, I tend to fall in love with like, every pretty girl. I walk through the day and want to sleep with like a dozen of them.
