I've said it before. When you factor in the women with multiple baby daddy's, fat women, and the ones who are happy as long they have beta orbiters nonstop - the US is almost as bad as China in terms of ratios. It might even be worse.

Also, the illegal immigration wave of the 90s to mid 2000's brought in more men. I'm not sure the statistics on it, but something like 3 illegal immigrant men for every 1 illegal immigrant woman.

The prostitution angle is something that I'll address too.

It should be legalized. I see it in bars across America, whether it be a smaller or big city, so many single guys just go out with the intent to drink themselves into oblivion because they know the chance of bringing home a woman they like is very low, or they go for a woman they aren't even attracted to, just as some sort of sexual mitigation, since it is a biological need for men.

There's always gonna be wackos regardless, but it would definitely be good for society. Feminists don't want men to have easy access to sex. Fat women know their stock value would plummet from thirsty dudes. At the same time, those guys typically don't want them, and only need to get off. The ratios don't help. I do believe there would be less drunk drivers if it were legalized, considering a big reason guys get so drunk is only because they're not bringing a woman home. When men went on dates, they wouldn't so focused on sex and could probably actually enjoy the date and get to know the person instead of running a dinner/bar tab wondering is she's gonna go home with him. Any woman (even fat) has her fan club on facebook, and ratios are partially to blame.

Even with all the gays, men in prison, stationed overseas, there are more men in the 18-44 age bracket.

Only in America is abortion legal, but prostitution is not.

I think most of us are in agreement on the general trend. Feminism, an anti-masculinity are bad for us individually and for society as a whole. I've always been a non-interventionalist type, but I think those of you that think some kind of movement can be formed to turn the tide back to the good old days are...well...let's say misguided. First, realize that whenever the Feminist hurricane takes a right turn and goes out to sea, we're not going back to the way it was. It will be something new and different. Second, the best resistance is a silent resistance. Telling women to get back in the kitchen is simply not a winning message. You may choose a more nuanced slogan, but society is going to hear, "Women go back in the kitchen and have babies and shut up." These women are only going to be convinced once they are staring at each other in their spinster colonies wondering what happened while we are all cavorting around the planet with women half our age.

It's my time. Thank you for sharing your opinion, I agree with your general proposition that USA is beat. It seems like you may have had a bad experience with some sort of false accusation from your posts. That would obviously be a traumatic experience. I don't like American women or paying taxes either. But I don't call my congressman or watch fox news. I save my money so I can spend it abroad, and I get enough pussy from mediocre women to keep me sane. I do not want to spend my disposable income inside the US if I can help it, within reason of course. Yes, it's a minefield out there with accusatory women, especially if you have a strong personality.

Prostitution should be legal. Dudes are banging chicks in jizz soaked booths in strip clubs. I agree with the comment that banging a hooker does not satisfy your masculinty because you haven't seduced her etc...However, having some classy whorehouses around I think would be a net positive for this male frustration problem. More Importantly, it would put pressure on the non prostitutes to bring something to the table. The beta would then say, "Why am I going to spend x dollars taking a girl out when I can bang and 8 for the same amount of money?"

Porn: I don't think porn helps release any frustration whatsoever. I was most frustrated when I was watching the most porn, in the mid 2000's. I've probably jerked off to porn two or three times in the last 18 months. I am 100% a better person for it. Porn certainly dulls your ability to relate to the opposite sex, and impedes your ability to flirt with a girl in a normal way with out projecting that you want to nut on her glasses with the first thing out of your mouth.
Side note: Noticing a disturbing trend of girls now watching a lot of porn. Yet another example of them wanting to be men. Topic for another thread.

I can't put my finger on it exactly, but I think the increasing police state has something to do with these violent episodes. Everywhere you turn, there is a police car, or a cop on detail, or a video camera. Now we all realize they are watching us inside our homes as well. There is no escape. I think the feeling of powerlessness that permeates society as a result of this is also a factor. Previous posters speak of powerlessness from not getting laid, but there are multiple sources of powerlessness now, and I think the police state is a big one.

Another source of powerless...We have now conceded as citizens that our votes do not count, and we cannot change anything. Maybe you individually still think you can affect change. But the majority of people do not believe this and have given up. Back in the day, a march in the street meant something. Now you have to get a permit. Back in the day, if a government official was caught doing something wrong, and god forbid it should hit the paper, he would immediately resign. Now, nobody is embarrassed about anything.

Where is our source of power? Our wallets. Thankfully, most of us are not dumping our resources into marriages. Seems like many of you choose to rent. That is debatable. Not many of you are into having children. I think you can extend this into other areas. One example off the top of my head...Black Friday Shopping. This is a woman's endeavor. Don't support it. It's stupid and ridiculous. Those of you that may have daughters, don't splurge for an opulent wedding. You get the idea.

Are you guys sure the anger would materialize into violence? Afterall, we are living in the most peaceful time in human history. Since the leviathan will only grow larger, I see us headed more towards the likes of Japan, England, and Scandinavia. Also, in a less civilized time without an overseeing authority handing out the punishment, people used to hurt and kill the person standing next them just because they had a discomforting thought. And if you think we've evolved past that, consider that as recent as 1969, while the Montreal police went on strike for 16 hours, grudges, vendettas, and revenge were carried out freely.

Here's a thought experiment. What would happen if your local police were removed completely? Would you depend on the goodness of people to uphold peace? Even if you were a upstanding citizen; what would you do if someone hurt you or a family member?

We live in a great time. Don't let reductionist thinking make you devalue America.

The welfare state redistributes wealth from the productive to the unproductive, and unproductive are both the ruling elite and the poorest layers of society.

Historically the rich (kings, sultans, etc) took all for themselves and their cronies and maybe threw a few peanuts to the poorest.

But today when we realize that it's not right to take from the workers and give to the king so he can build a bigger and more opulent palace, the rulers need a better excuse for extorting wealth from the productive workers.

And all the moral arguments are now touted as an excuse, the poor people, the single mothers, the sick elderly, etc. But not only as an excuse, they also have to actually give a significant fraction (maybe half of it, I don't know) to the poor so that their game of enriching the elite would not be so obvious.

To make it more visual (and extremely simplified) the arrows on the right show the flow of wealth:


And probably the worst result of this redistribution of wealth is that it penalizes production and rewards leeching, so the "people in need" class which should've been around 3% or 5% has swelled today to 30% or 50% (depends how you measure it) and it's not an insignificant expense for the state, so the money today moves both UP and DOWN, and the DOWN portion is probably about equal to the UP portion.

The real issue seems to be push back on masculinity across the board, it's always taken your time, money, or emotions to nail high quality broads, but never so much to accomplish everything else.

This doesn't work in most the country and you end up taking a huge risk of getting into a fight and then police get involved.

But if you are able to do this, you are then taking the even larger risks of false rape charges, pregnancy that ruins your life, or other concerns.

A lot of great points, I think part of the problem is that due to the feminization of our culture, there are just a lot less options for guys looking for what used to be a normal woman: Pretty, feminine, knew her gender role.

Now "beauty comes in all shapes and sizes". Excessive tattoos and piercing is prevalent. Shaving half your head is normal. And it goes without saying, the proliferation and attempted forced acceptance of being fat. Being feminine is now looked down upon, and men who show any sort of physical preference are labeled a misogynist.

I have a few friends who are good guys, stay in good shape, but have a tough time meeting women. All they want is someone who is pretty and feminine. That used to be a starting point, now it's considered having high standards (at least by ugly feminists). I keep telling them they just have to step up their aggressiveness. They shouldn't really have to, but that's reality.

So as alluded to here on ROK and in these forums, there are a plethora of fat/ugly/unfeminine women who won't give it up to a 6 (let alone a comparable 2) because we teach women from a young age that they are all perfect and deserve the best. And so many of them get to bang quality guys thinking that makes them also attractive even though 95% of the quality guys I know will also stick it in anything if they are drunk enough.

Perhaps the solution is to teach kids from a young age they are not perfect and deserve nothing. They key to fulfillment is to focus on self improvement and understand that nobody's perfect.

It doesn't help, but I think the deeper reason is the push to drug boys endlessly. Virtually all the big deal mass shootings were done by guys who were on Ritalin as kids and/or anti-depressants as young adults.

All these type drugs come with warnings we all know about: suicidal thoughts being the main one. Putting anyone on a drug like this is asking for trouble. Hell, I avoid decongestants because they make me angry; I can't image being on anti-depressants.

How did the Greatest Generation get though life without these drugs? Somehow they managed. So why do the Baby Boomers in charge of our schools and doctors offices feel the need to drug us endlessly? And why does no one see the damage this is doing? Even if it's part correlation and not total causation, there seems to be enough evidence that prescription drugs are doing some damage to kids.

(Sidenote: I once went to a urologist for a kidney stone. He sent me home with free samples of Viagra. I have no problem with impotency. But he said "Just in case." This is called "drug pushing" not doctoring and I think is emblematic of the medical system.)

Anyway, the mall shooter this weekend killed himself. Wonder if he was on any drugs -- and if the police will even announce that?

It's good to see this being talked about on the forum. I've been in a sort of rut lately regarding all of these issues. I don't think the US is going to reach a dark ages level of societal shutdown, but I do see society stagnating in ways that will alienate a lot of men on the lower rungs of our society.

I'm going to start learning Japanese. Might try my luck in Asia. That will be fun. But I am getting tired of this country.
